I saw a nice production last Saturday of «The Mad Woman of Chaillot». It was a cute play and very well done. The staff was very warm and welcoming and offered complimentary wine and homemade cookies. It is a small but intimate venue, I will definitely be coming back !

This place is a gem in the crown of Pasadena and deserves to be discovered by a wider audience. I’ve taken classes with different instructors but has mainly taken Nancy’s Modern class on Saturday mornings. Nancy is approachable and thoughtful and great at explaining techniques. Come and stretch your body and soul

I have taken classes from Malinda and Lisa and I adore them both! Their classes are a great work-out, and miraculously, I feel like I am becoming a dancer. If you’re just starting out with dance, Lisa’s Boogie, Booty, Ballet class on Tuesday mornings is a great place to start. Fun music, wonderful stretch and warm-up time, and easy, straight-forward dance steps all work together perfectly for a fun and challenging(but not too challenging) work-out.

Been to performances, concerts, art openings and a private party at this venue. The location is ideal and the atmosphere is great. Staff is easy to work with. I also take Jazz and ballet classes here, the floor is divine. No tape, not slippery and has some give. The instructors are wonderful.

Lineage has Sangita’s Bollnatyam dance classes on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 — 8:30pm. It is a mix of classical and Bollywood dance styles. A great atmosphere and a great way to understand what Indian dance is all about.

The dance classes are fun and amazing, the teachers are enthusiastic and helpful. Wine and tango night is a treat. There is a gallery space incorporated into the performance space. Bathrooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly and upbeat. This place feels like my home away from home. The dance shows are spectacular, I fully support what Lineage Dance brings to the community of Pasadena. Every event focuses on raising awareness for different issues and other non-profits.

I have now taken a few classes here at Lineage Performing Arts Center and am already in love with the teachers and staff. They are welcoming and meet you where you are in dance. I’ve been to multiple dance studios but what I appreciate most about this place is its uncompetitive nature. I immediately felt comfortable with simply dancing without feeling judged. Not to mention the teachers are highly qualified and teach a demanding class. I will definitely keep coming back!

I went to the Lineage Performing Arts Center to see a dance show called«Journey» by Zahra Zuhair’s Ponana on 11⁄14. The show was fantastic. The dancers were professional and the choreography was just amazing… These beautiful dancers did the show to raise funds for the Children of the Night organization. I was really touched by the quality of the performance and by the kindness of them all. I will definitely come back to this cozy theater for future performances!

I recently came here after noticing their center when driving on Fair Oaks then realizing that they were the ones putting on the Cultural Dance Festival in Pasadena. I took their company repertory class which was taught by the artistic director, Hilary. She was a great instructor. The class was small, but the atmosphere felt full and exciting. I really enjoyed learning a section from one their company’s piece. You can also learn their company’s modern based warm-up. Overall, a really inviting environment for the progression of dance and other performing arts.
