WARNING!!! DONOT hire this company if you have worked hard for your belongings. THEYARETHIEVES!!! Hiring them goes down as one of the worst days ever for me. First of all, I had moved everything myself except for my bedroom furniture, washer/dryer, kitchen table and chairs, and living room furniture. It was a job that should have taken maybe 2 hours(max. 2 ½hrs.). Richard, the«leader», took his sweet time. He kept talking on the phone and smoking and hardly helped. Every time I turned around either he or the lady was in the bathroom. I am still wondering what they kept doing as often as they went in there. It took them 5HOURS!!! Their website shows a moving truck. They do not have one, and the trailer that they use stinks really bad. After running my bill up, I noticed every single piece of furniture was scratched and my 2 year old Tempur-Pedic mattress had oil stains on it. They also advertise that they are insured and bonded. They ARE not!!! While Richard and I were arguing over the fact that they scratched all my furniture, the lady that showed up with them robbed me blind. They stole over $ 4000.00 worth of items from me. After filing a police report, the detective informed me that Richard and the lady both had criminal records. Scott Davenport acts like a really nice local guy when you hire his company, but he knows he is letting criminals come into your home. He does not have insurance to pay for my furniture like he advertises, and he will not return my calls. His website also advertises that they take credit cards. They only take cash and will not give you a receipt. The only way I had proof that they were here was by taking a picture of the paper he has you sign when he shows up. I am telling you to look elsewhere. I thought I was hiring a local guy. It is not him that shows up. His prices are cheaper than other places, but you will not save money because they will take their time to run the bill up, and they will damage your property. There is a guy who posted a review and gave them a low review. He was telling the truth. Even though Scott does not have a criminal record himself, he is a crook. In my opinion, he knows what Richard is doing, and he admitted that he has been working for him for 2 years. I gave them plenty of chances, almost begging, to make that moving day right. Neither Scott nor Richard honored the scratches or the fact that they way over charged me for what they moved. As far as what they stole, I have turned that over to the police. If you would like the police case number, just comment here. I would be more than happy to provide that if you would like to investigate further. Moving is stressful enough as it is without hiring a company that is going to damage and steal your belongings. They don’t even deserve one star.

Movers were very helpful. I had a very quick move and they made me feel confident about it the whole time. They were able to move 3 bedrooms couches TVs and a garage out in a hour and a half. If I ever needed movers again I would use them for sure. They wrapped all my TVs and furniture and handled them with care! Scott is the owner and did a great job of making sure all went smoothly!

I’ve used this moving company several times. Great people to do business with. Everytime I’ve called them Scott has always taken great care of me. They show up on time and they are very respectful with my furniture and packages. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a mover! A+++ service!

Do not use this«company». Richard(crew leader) and two others showed up 90 min. late at 12:30 pm. Upon arrival, Richard tries to leave to buy lunch for his crew(while still charging us hourly rate!). We bought them lunch to prevent him from leaving. They stop what they’re doing and eat for 30 min.(while still charging us hourly rate!) 2 hours into the move, the only items they’ve loaded are boxes. They are milking it and messing around. I discuss with Richard, and he tells me that I should expect them to take 6 or 7 hours. We were in a 2 bedroom apartment! He convinces me to take a flat rate«deal» for $ 575.00. Every other time I’ve moved, it’s only taken 3.5 to 4 hours tops, and costed me $ 400 at the most. Upon signing this supposed«deal» they start flying around getting the truck loaded as quickly as possible, but they’re being reckless. In the end, we had several pieces of furniture damaged, boxes crushed, and dents, holes and scratches all over our drywall at both locations. They ended up leaving several items of furniture and boxes at our old place as well. At our new home(3 bedroom, 2 story) we had instructed them to leave the boxes in the garage(to save time off hourly rate), but they left several items of furniture in the garage as well. They were being completely reckless carrying furniture upstairs, so I had to help them so as to prevent further damages. My wife was even having to help carry things. The total move ended up taking 4.25 hrs., much less than Richard’s estimate of 6 to 7 hours. Had we stuck with the hourly rate, it would have been much cheaper than the flat rate«deal.» I voiced my frustrations with Scott, and he told me Richard is notorious for this kind of behavior, would more than likely have to get fired, and that he would come to our house and assess the damages. After speaking with him two times, I’ve called several times and he will no longer return my calls. If you’re planning on hiring movers, look somewhere else.
