From burgers to quesadillas, hot lunches and veggie wraps, they have figured out how to generally create ersatz versions of all the things one would normally eat. Representing a true monopoly and why you want both Broadway and Park Place, the Pod is the only choice for food for the thousands who reside at Shell Deer Park for 12 hours a day. The burgers smell great at 8 in the morning when they are being cooked, and the Pod will keep them warm via infrared lamps until it opens three hours later with the expected loss in quality. Don’t trust what kind of bread they say the cold sandwiches are on. They can’t tell a baguette from a focaccia, and often mislabel ciabatta bread as other things. That not withstanding, the cold sandwiches are probably the best bet. The prices are high and the quality is low, but it you want a hot meal and left your lunch in the fridge at home, you have no other option.
