Food is good. Menu isn’t too crowded with dishes. They deliver quickly, and you can place your order online. A little pricey for a hole in the wall joint, but it’s close by and takes care of my thai food cravings. Yumm!

Sorry to say that I was disappointed with the food, I ordered combo meal chicken, ribs with shrimp fried rice, some calamari and iced coffee. The chicken & ribs tasted like they were laying around for a while, the rice was mushy not fried, I enjoyed the ice coffee, I took the calamari to go, as I walked home my stomach began to rumble which is unusual for me. I passed a trash can and threw the calamari away, now I know why no one was there, seems like they are going the way of Dave’s chicken on Hill St. In Pasadena i.e. closing. I went by a review that said«Best Thai food here & Thailand«really? That’s like me saying Mofongo’s has«the best Puerto Rican food here & Puerto Rico» They do not ! One star for the iced coffee, sorry folks mean no disrespect, just keeping it real!

We stopped here after viewing the Rose Parade floats. I ordered the chicken and pork special and my daughter ordered the pad Thai and crispy shrimp. Our friends had other dishes and we’re pleased with their food. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly.

One of my few«go to» restaurants. I’m addicted to the panang curry chicken. I also highly recommemnd the pineapple fred rice. Friendly, inviting atmosphere. The owner/proprieter, Pin, is always trying to make sure everything is to our satisfaction. There are a lot of Thai places in and around Pasadena, but this is my favorite.

What a bummer. To start with, we ordered delivery of the lunch special orange chicken, and chicken satay combo. Fairly basic, fairly boring to begin with… so we didn’t expect much. We did try to order beef satay, but the woman on the phone said, «only chicken.» Still not sure if it’s no longer available, since it’s clearly on the menu, or if it was just temporary. Anyway, our satay and orange chicken meals were actually less than average(which was all we were expecting!) and we probably won’t be ordering again. Here’s why: Chicken Satay The chicken was so dry and rubbery; we each ate a skewer and tossed the rest. The peanut sauce was lumpy, oily, and tasted like rancid peanut butter. The shrimp fried rice that came with it was okay but we only got 2 shrimp and they were overcooked… so I vote we just call it fried rice. Orange Chicken The chicken was decent on flavor and had a nice, subtle sweetness but was pretty chewy. The brown rice that came with it was cold(not even lukewarm) and the salad was a few pieces of lettuce drowning in dressing. Packaging: This usually doesn’t matter but all of our food was packed in plastic to-go containers like those which are used for salads. This obviously did nothing to keep the food warm. All that said, we’re still on the hunt for a decent Thai delivery joint.

Only the best in Pasadena! Had the cream cheese wontons, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, combination rice and white rice. It was all extremely delicious and flavorful! Called ahead to pick it up and it was ready in 20 min. Great pricing and parking was right in front.

Sadly disappointed. This is NOT the Tipparos that we have known for the past two years. They should change the name altogether. This place has lost the fancyness it had when I first began visiting this restaurant on a regular basis two years ago. This restaurant seems to have changed management and thus it went from a fancier Thai eatery to now just a regular dime-a-dozen restaurant. It used to have the fancy bottles and glasses with beautiful plates and presentation. Now it is just like dozens of other restaurants. Also, they have new people there that make annoying mistakes a lot. Also, the portions have been cut back while the prices have been kept high. They also have taken out the rice that used to come with some dinner entrees, while keeping the price the same or even increasing the price. For the value it is overpriced. In addition, there are kids sitting around, playing around. This takes away from the standards the previous management had. I don’t mind kids, but for certain restaurants that are of a higher caliber you don’t have kids sitting next to you coloring and playing with their toys giving it a daycare feel more than a restaurant. They like to give you Thai tea as a gesture of good will, but the last 3 times I’ve gone there they have made some annoying mistakes like when I ordered my food to go and then when I went to pick up they tell me that they are out of a portion of my order at the last minute when I come to pick up. If I had known from the start I would have gone to some other restaurant and as much as I like Thai tea, it’s not enough for the constant mistakes /inconvenience. Don’t get me wrong, this restaurant has fairly decent quality food still, but since the change in management it no longer stands out from the rest of the good Thai restaurants in the area. The servers are overly nervous and anxious which bleeds over into the meal and the customers. It seems as if they are on shaky ground and have a bit of disorganization. The new servers give off a defensive vibe now. Food is still fairly decent quality, though. Going to explore other alternative Thai restaurants for now as this place seems to have too many issues for my taste. Sad as this was once one of our favorite spots.
