The wines are very tasty with a beautiful vineyard and outdoor seating. Sunday was rough, too bad this was my first visit. A 6 wine flight for two people took an hour and 43 minutes with a lot of waiting. Melissa worked her butt off while others workers just ignored the rest. Helping new guest over people that have spent a long time waiting for the next pour. TL;DR buy a bottle and sit outside

The property here is very nice. However, my main complaint it the tasting room service. For the majority of our tasting we were bombarded with the details of the wine club. I’m sure tasting room personnel makes commission off of members, but I can assure they wouldn’t get that commission from me. They just wouldn’t let it go… Additionally, the tasting room manager lied to us. Without asking, he told us of how grand their vineyard was and how they owned all of the vineyard around them. I will not mention the winery who told us, but literally just before we came in we were told of how Broken Earth vineyard was located elsewhere and that a different organization owned the grapes around the winery. The pourer also was very pushy about the wines. My wife and I were interested in a taste, but we ended up being poured several wines that we didn’t ask for. Fortunately, we had the foresight to split a glass. It was as if he only wanted us to taste their wines, and not be able to taste anywhere else. As far the wines, they were crafted pretty well. The majority reached about average for the Paso region. I asked for the Syrah Viogner blend, but was poured the Pint Noir instead. It was pretty nice even though I was repeatedly told how it was the Syrah…

This was our first stop once we arrived at Paso Robles and boy was it an amazing way to start our trip. The atmosphere is incredible and I could easily spend an entire day here just enjoying their wine and the live music. It was a beautiful day so we grabbed our tastings and sat out on the patio and listened to the live music. The wine was very tasty and there was a nice variety. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have a great food selection with a delicious salad! I highly recommend a stop at this winery out of the hundreds you have to choose from here.

Worst winery in Paso Robles. I’ve been to Broken Earth 3 times and every time the pourers have been extremely rube. The wine and cheese are good but not worth the poor service. I have been to many central coast winery’s and never experienced such dismal hospitality. If you want to have a good time go to Toben James, avoid Broken Earth.

Stopped in today to taste. Only two of us and last stop before checking in to our hotel. We were served by Trudy. I will not return. To begin my taste, I selected a white wine, which had no indication on the name it was a Viognier until I was rudely informed with full over-the eyeglass stare down that I was in fact tasting a Viognier, I was done. Customer service is marketing just as much as your product. Broken Earth has good wines but I do not drive two hours to Paso Robles to taste and enjoy local wines to be treated like an idiot.

What a great place to stop and enjoy some delicious wine, buy some cute jewelry and have a fun conversation with their staff! We ensues both the white and red wines they served. The guy serving is was so kind, he gave my friend, our DD, a wine glass with water, but he added coloring for fun. We found cool jewelry, so much so that on our way back from Pismo, we stopped again to buy some gifts(jewelry and wine). :)

Rude staff, ignored me while I was wanting to try a wine and looked at me like I didn’t belong in there because I was in my work clothes, not a good atmosphere

Their outdoor seating area is nice with plenty of shade, but some seats are only accessible via grass which was difficult for a family member. There was a handicap accessible table but it was occupied by a party bus group and the winery did nothing to accommodate said family member. We ended up sitting on a bench in front of the winery(we had to be outside because we had a dog with us). Once inside, the staff took a long time to acknowledge me and when she did, she didn’t explain the wine at all. She was more attentive to my husband, though, so he ended up getting the tastings for me. Maybe we visited at an inopportune time since the winery was busy with rowdy guests from wine tours and party buses who have had a little too much wine. The wines were just okay.

Stop in, grab a wrap or sandwich at the amazing café, then enjoy some wine. Come see Melissa! She is the smartest, prettiest, and most knowledgable wine lady I know. She will find out what you like and get you the perfect wine. Also feed you cheese all day. Seriously GETTHECHEESEPLATE! I’m currently listening to Molly’s revenge play bagpipes in the pretty outdoor shaded area. Couldn’t ask for a better time.

We just joined Broken Earth last weekend while we were in Paso for the ZinFest. It was our second time visiting the winery and we really love the wine, atmosphere and the servers so we had to join! Stefani

There are many wineries in Paso and I was excite to try this place. I heard that they had a wine and cheese pairing. First of all, a lot of the wineries are free wine tasting, here they charged $ 5 a tasting…$ 5! I mean in napa you can pay 10 bucks and have a tasting of 5 glasses! They then positioned it that you get a tasting waived for every bottle you buy. I did however really enjoyed their moscato. That was my favorite. Everything was so so. I ended up buying their most expensive cab reserve and it wasn’t exactly worth how much I paid. The guy wasn’t extremely friendly, not sure if it was because we were young but we wasn’t super friendly. I mentioned the cheese and he said nothing about it. So no cheese. Sad.

These guys are really nice people. They have good wine and they generously hosted the Rhone Rangers and took care of everyone who volunteered and, most importantly all the attendees. It’s a great location for an event.

Broken Earth has just about everything it takes to make for a perfect winery. They have a very large outdoor area for picnicking as well as a large indoor tasting room. The people running the tasting room were extremely cordial, sharing info about the wine and even giving us advice on where to make our dinner reservations. The wines themselves are very good. In fact, and I do not say this lightly, but their reserve Cabernet Sauvignon may be the best wine I have ever tasted, and I have had more than my share. It is like velvet.

Went to this winery for a wonderful wedding! This winery is very concrete, full of barrels, spacious and the inside, is huge! It is great to hold private venues, such as weddings, here! During the pre-wedding, they were serving up Quadrant gold and platinum wine, where they blend the different types into one wine! Call me a Wine-Oh! It was very pleasant while admiring the vineyard outside. It was a leisurely outing, indeed!

Another lovely tasting room surrounded by beautiful grounds and vineyards. This winery is a newcomer to the industry and very generous — 7 free tastings! Yowza! I think i met the big wine pusher in town! However, by the time I arrived, I could only do 3 lest I risk crawling out. Staff also very knowledgable about their wines/vines and the harvesting process, but it takes a little prodding before they start sharing. Another big difference between this place and most of the other wineries, they have a café! Sure it’s a little pricey($ 12 for a panini sandwich), but you get 7 free tastings here, and after all the tastings and no real food options this end of town, it was the best panini I’ve ever had! I also understand they have live music on the weekends. Would like to make it back for a weekend visit.
