Conveniently located on my route to work, friendly staff, love the burritos and other goodies. I treat myself once in a while to a nice coffee but been a little disappointed lately, they’ve been lacking in flavor, my last one was watery. Want to continue to support a local business but not if my drinks aren’t going to be worth the $ 4 each trip. Hope they train they’re staff a little better in the future.

Coffee and breakfast burrito were AMAZING. Driving out of the Wine Country RV Park, this was the perfect stop. Costs, service and food were Great!

The negative reviews are very confusing to me. EVERY time I go there, I am treated respectfully and the employees are friendly. Sometimes, they remember my order and I don’t even need to tell them what I want. They get it made quickly. Unfortunately, sometimes they are closed. This is not starbucks, this is a local place with hours that reflect busy times in town.

Love their Nutella Mocha! Whenever I’m craving something sweet… That’s the place I go!

It’s unfortunate how rapidly this little place went down hill. Ive given this place multiple opportunities to win back some business but it just didn’t work out. The golden hill location is pretty bad: not open during posted hours, unfriendly service, stale pastries. Once I waited at the window(about 3:00pm on a Monday) for 20 mins assuming the barista was on break and no one ever returned, there was a cutting board full of cut potatoes but no one to be found. Finally I decided to find a new local coffee shop. The downtown location isn’t bad, the girl who works(everyday?) is nice and does a good job for them. Not open Sunday, sometimes closed early, I get it but it was time to move on.

Need something on the go and don’t want to get out of the car, the two locations are for you. Amazing specialty drinks! Must try drinks: Joy In A Cup, Almond Roca Mocha and Salted Caramel Mocha blended! Great scones and breakfast items and some fun paleo items too.

I’ve very good experiences here. There was one employee that used to be very unfriendly(which I would avoid going those days), but everyone else is great. I am sad that they don’t make as many baked goods as before, and always feel like I want baked goods with my coffee!

Cloud 9 Management… FYI Stopped by last week but they had already closed. Lucky for me… I had the chance to see what I was in for. Looking into the really dirty windows, the sink was filthy, the grounds box appeared full and was left on the counter, and there was even a banana peel on the floor! Unless there was an emergency earthquake evacuation that I am not aware of… it is inexcusable to leave a food service facility in such a manner. Definitely not hygienic. And, since coffee houses generally open quite early… it is doubtful that the mess was cleaned up prior to the start of service the next day. I’m just glad I saw this. And, I suggest that all the«drive thru» clients stop by for a look into the windows sometime. Coffee from Cloud 9… I’ll pass.

So… I am not really what you would call a coffee aficionado. I don’t really like to branch out of my Starbucks comfort zone too much. But after living in Paso for two years, I gave Cloud 9 a try. It really WAS Cloud 9 for a girl like me, who likes sweet, non-coffee tasting, coffee drinks. My absolute favorite drink is the Nutella mocha, blended. I would probably sell a little but of my soul if I could have someone mail some to me. The only thing that keeps me from giving this place 5 stars is the inconsistency in the quality of service. And like others have mentioned, this was at the 13th st. location. There were a few times that the girl was very short and rude. Like when I had filled up my «rewards» punch card, I asked if she could give me a new one and she looked at me like I had offended every bone in her body. Like, how dare I try to get a free drink for being a regularcustomer. it did make me feel uncomfortable for a second, but whatever, I’m not gonna be shamed for wanting a free drink in exchange of my loyalty. But even that didn’t keep me from going back. I remained a loyal customer up until my very last day in Paso. It was seriously my last stop before getting on the 46 west and heading out of town. I’ll miss you, Cloud 9.

I ordered a green tea boba 1) The blonde thin girl was not very friendly and not ONCE did she say thank you… even when I gave her a tip! She needs some manners. They ran out of co2 so there was no whip cream but she wasn’t going to tell me I had to ask and the green tea boba I ordered was sub standard… had no flavor… skip this place.

I’ve been going to cloud 9 since the second day they opened and I’ve been going there about every day since. The coffee there is the best in town! Great service and the girls are always very friendly. My only suggestion is that atascadero needs a cloud 9 coffee.

I was way early for work so stopped by to get a drink. Ariel was super nice and recommended the chai. I got sugar free vanilla chia with fat free milk and damn, it tastes like a regular. Heck yes, awesome drink and low calorie. This place is awesome.

I’m somewhat conflicted about writing this review — I used to be a fan of Cloud 9 Coffee. The girls that work at the location at Union and Golden Hill have always been really friendly and offered great customer service. But three things are causing me to stay away: the boba is terrible(grainy, overly hard texture in a syrupy sweet faux Thai tea mix with a bizarre, really off flavor), the rudeness of the girl(s) that work at the 13th Street location, and the lack of gluten free breakfast options. The first issue could be resolved quickly: 1. Check out the boba at Lily’s Yogurt on 12th Street.(Their boba has great texture — soft and chewy, and they also offer the boba with just green or black brewed tea in addition to the presweetened mixes.) 2. Do it like that. As for the issue of the rude employee at the 13th Street location, I would be quick to remedy that situation by finding someone who actually cares about their job instead of treating customers like an annoyance. I’ve had several bad experiences at this location: There was one time that I got a breakfast burrito that tasted off, and when I brought it back and asked for a refund the girl acted like it was totally unreasonable. I handed her back the burrito and explained the issue, after which she stared blankly at me for a minute, then said in a snippy tone: «What, you want your money back?» Seriously? There was another time that a friend and I walked up, and the girl took my order, handed me my drink, then asked the people behind us what they wanted without even asking if or what my friend wanted to order. That was the last time we went there. The third issue is a lack of any savory gluten free options for breakfast. This is something that is much needed around here, since — even if one is not celiac and immediately sensitive to gluten — more and more people are discovering the serious issues that gluten can cause in general.

Cloud 9 on 13th, you should probably let people know your card machine isn’t working before I order and you make my drink. Off to nasty ol’ Starbucks.

Best Drive thru coffee in PASO. The service was the best and Brittany knew what I wanted before I got to the window. THANKYOU!

My husband and I love Cloud 9 coffee shop. They have an awesome variety of mixed coffee drinks and wonderful service there. We really enjoy going to get coffee from Glory at Cloud 9! We also love the extra location spot downtown they have opened recently. My favorite drinks are the pumpkin vanilla chia, the snicker, and the iced white mocha with Oreo(its like a cookies n cream milkshake). They also make muffins and sell breakfast burritos. So yummy! This is a great place to get your coffee with a welcoming smile. Love Love this place. We are going to miss it when we move.

My wife turned me on to this place, otherwise I might not have tried it. I’m not into all that specialty coffee nonsense, so I’ve only tried them for regular and iced coffees. The iced coffee is terrific. Always a good amount of ice and sweetness. The employees are always super pleasant as well. Perhaps the best thing about this place is the drive through. You can attack it from two different directions which makes it easy no matter how you enter the parking lot. You have to like a business that doesn’t even force you to sit on your butt for a long time. $ 2 for a large coffee without having to go inside is the American dream.

Great drive thru coffee spot. Super convenient to just drive up and easy/quick ordering. Their baked goods are super yummy. The scones are just the right amount of moisture and a touch of sweetness. The muffins are super tasty. And they bake everything there in their ovens, so no pre packaged, dry and cold pastries… all very delicious. They also have breakfast bagel sandwiches. Coffee is good and strong. Very friendly.
