Fantastic wine tasting experience with Rita and Jackie ! Our case arrived in 3 days perfectly! The Viognier was lighter than a Chardonnay but creamier than a Pino Grigio. Our guests raved about the wine! Thank you for such personal service!

What a cute place. This boutique winery has a warm environment, and like most others, the winemaker was present in his tasting room. There was just a genuine feel to this stop. It felt like home. The wines are all named along with the Four Lanterns theme. And the cause for these lanterns? The winemakers four daughters of course. My wife and I were drawn in to hear all about this label. Often there are quirky stories as to why a wine carries a name, but more times than not it isn’t that interesting. And maybe I’m a sap, but I fell for the romantics involved here. What a legacy to base off children, his lanterns to the path of life… We enjoyed an array of blends; ended up buying a bottle of Fire Light. It’s a marvelously down Syrah. The wine was a tad pricey, but I didn’t mind spending a bit more to be apart of this operation. Well done guys!

My husband and I stopped into this lovely winery during Thanksgiving and we were so pleasantly surprised! I am a white wine drinker and my husband a red, both of us were so pleasantly surprised to find wines that we both really enjoyed. Here is what makes this special, a family owned winery, talented children who work there as well(and design beautiful labels, which they should print as we would buy one!) and the owners who really care about the people who come in to taste and to buy. We really enjoyed meeting them, got a personal tour of the lovely house on the property and joined the wine club. SO happy that we did, as we wanted to find a special place that we could call a great find! We have been recommending them to friends traveling in the area, and we hope to hear more and more about this wonderful place. Steve and Jackie, you have a special place that we will call home on our way up and down the coast from now on. For everyone else, the Lights Out and the Firelight have made me a red lover for the winter! But do not miss the Viognier! Thank you to everyone there for treating us so well, cannot wait to get our first shipments!

I visited this winery for the first time while attending a fundraising event. It’s a beautifully rustic and charming place, owned by very friendly and generous people. I loved the Viognier and was able to enjoy it while surrounded by happy little dogs, hoping for adoption. Thank you Steve for being so supportive of Meade Canine Rescue!

I love these guys!!! So much so that I joined their wine club, my second in the valley. I’m not a fan of white wines, not at all. However, their rose and whites are very tasty and I’d consider purchasing. However, I’m usually too busy buying the reds to even consider it. –My favorites: Lights Out(grenache/syrah), Firelight(syrah), and the Shadow(grenache/syrah). All three are delicious and full bodied, great for pairing with beef or by itself in a glass. –The service: everyone is so friendly at Four Lanterns! We’re not so much tasting as we are just hanging out with some delicious wines. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable, you’ll definitely find something you like here. –The property: there’s ample parking out front. Wrapped around two sides of the tasting room is their beautiful lawn and patio. Out front is a firepit and chairs to boot. Around back is a treehouse, don’t climb it, and some more chairs and cornhole boards. I would definitely hang out here on a warm day with a glass of wine. Steve and Jackie are great!!!

Newer tasting room on Hwy 46 that used to be Lone Madrone and also had the great herb garden out back. The Four Lantern wine list is compact but pleasing. Make sure you sample the Viognier and not commonly found Pic Poul. The owners and staff are very friendly and knowledgable.

Like Beth Y., we had never been and decided to stop in. So glad we did. it’s nice to see small entrepreneurs in the midst of so many«mega wineries» working at something they love. Very attentive and comfortable surroundings. Enjoyed the music outside and the views of the open land and vineyards. The Picpoul and the Syrah were our favorites. Tasting at $ 10 was a welcome change from the ridicuous cost at some of the wineries. It’s a young vineyard, but the potential is very promising based on what we tasted.

Great up and coming winery. Owners are warm and friendly and the wines are not heavily manipulated. Very refreshing approach. Vine stock is mature and grape varieties are amazing. Don’t miss this one. Great things to come.

Steve is so accommodating. Private tasting on his day off. The Viognier and Picpoul Blanc really stood out! Thanks Steve!
