Really like the GSM, but they really should get their Friday music figures out. After hearing about Friday nights finally went. Band was an hour or more late… Went to barrel house instead! Far far more fun. Too bad but t&n needs to pick it up quite a bit. I’ll try back in a couple months, but there’s a lot going on in paso to hang there until they sort it out. Two stars is generous but I like the location and the GSM. Go here as a last resort for Friday evening fun. Sorry t&n, hope you figure it out. See you in a while…

Great staff, amazing service. Their Force of Nature Zin is AMAZING as well as the Destinata GSM. Food Friday-Sunday from Foremost is also top notch! Always get the garlic truffle fries with a burger to split!

Teana I believe was her name, Best server, we came in with our family for a wedding and nothing but smiling faces and great wine. The best service I have seen in a long time. The chardonnay reserve and the pinto noir were great!!!

I have mixed feelings on this place. The wines are excellent. But my mixed feelings come from the ambiance. It’s a little castle on the hill but inside it felt more like a frat house than a winery. It’s a weird vibe and just not my style. That being said I bought two bottles and would definitely go again to buy more.

I’m getting married here in June. The whole experience has been fantastic and we are treated like royalty every time we come here. Beautiful, bold reds that give life to the wine industry.

I love this winery– for a few reasons. First, we had our company holiday party here this last December and SO many people came up to me afterwards and said, hands down– it was the BEST company party they’d been to. Kim(the event manager) and Nicki were the ones who primarily helped us out with everything for the event, and they are both amazing! All the staff was so friendly and willing to help, and the night went off without a hitch. I would absolutely plan another shindig there! Then, there’s the wine. Their zin is everything to write home about, let me tell you. They’re always having fun events to bring you in, and they have an amazing ambiance and atmosphere that makes you want to stay– including a great patio with really cute bistro lighting for the evening time. Can’t say enough about this winery and the staff– thanks for an amazing party, and the delicious food and wine!

This place is great. Had a tasting here… Had way too much to drink. Woke up on a bench. Bought a couple bottles of the desert wine. The architecture is amazing and the workers are generous with the tastings. Like most of the local wineries, if you buy something they’ll waive the tasting fee. Here you have to spend a minimum of $ 50.

Great patio and ambience however the service could be improved on and they sucker you by saying that 2 bottles or a $ 50 spend waives the tasting fees but fail to mention that requirement is per person so if you’re there with someone(say your spouse) they’ll still hit you with on tasting fee unless you buy 4 bottles or spend($ 100). That’s a little rich for my blood… And I buy some VERY expensive bottles of wine when they impress me. Service was ho hum… We started our tasting with a server who didn’t give us much background on the wines and just kind of poured the wine and walked away… Then she just disappeared after a couple of pours and never returned… One of the other servers noticed we’d been standing with empty glasses for quite a while and offered to take over and the service was then top notch — he gave us a good idea of the flavor profiles, meal pairings and wine history and would always circle back to ask what we thought while we still had a sip or two left in our glasses. Ironically as we where wrapping up our first server suddenly reappeared and asked so what do you want to buy(yup, pretty much just like that). To add insult to injury she then bought us back the receipt and there was space for a tip…(So that’s why your suddenly interested in us huh??) I frequent wineries VERY often and have never seen this before(and I didn’t see it at the other 4 wineries we visited on this trip) is it something new or just something specific to this winery? Nothing stood out too much on the list… I’d recommend coming here and enjoying the patio and the sunshine and heading somewhere else if your looking to fill your cellar

I must say that the ambiance here is really something else. The patio is beautiful and the inside décor is really nice. My friends and I had a great time just basking in the environment. Although I was given many wines to taste nothing stood out to me. They all were simply okay. I would for sure suggest this place to enjoy with friends and family but, if you want good wine this is not the winery for it.

The wine is nothing special. The service is mediocre(we had 4 different servers in one tasting) so there was no continuity, no fluid conversation. It’s a big place, good for groups. The outdoor seating is large and nice. Go upstairs for additional seating and a great view. Personally I think the castle theme is cheesy.

Had a great time with friends Friday night on the patio, listening to music, eating burgers, and tasting your wines for the first time! We want to give a shout out to Tim in the tasting room! His service was awesome, he was so friendly and informative! Overall great experience… Thank you Tooth & Nail!

We made Sunday brunch reservations here for 10:00, right when they open. We got there a little early, around 9:30, and just figured we would walk around a bit until they opened. We were immediately greeted by the most gracious hostess who gave us a tour of all the different rooms that ended with a complimentary tasting of a couple of their wines(hooray for early morning drinking!). Then we were shown to our window table with a beautiful view of the Paso valley. The food here is superb! Everything was immensely savory and so well put together and the staff goes above and beyond to make your dining and tasting experience top notch. It was the perfect ending to our anniversary weekend. We ended up joining the wine club(their wines were the best we tasted the entire weekend) and this will definitely be a go-to place any time we are in Paso.

Stopped in on Saturday and had Chris as a pourer who was a really nice guy. Unfortunately they ran out of some of the wines that we liked, but he referred us to some local markets that still may have them. Some Paso markets and stores carry local wines that may be sold out at the wineries themselves. Just keep an eye open if you can’t find at the wineries.

We were drawn in by the offer of a burger and a glass for $ 20 — once we arrived we learned we could get 2 burgers and a bottle for $ 50 — so we did — the burgers arrived in paper cartons in under 3 minutes(clearly had them pre-cooked) & they were not well seasoned or hot. The wine did pair well with the burger and the wait staff was friendly. Overall, I loved the idea, but was filled with regret. What I was hoping would be a classy, romantic evening out — wasn’t — Since last trip the ownership has changed. The addition of the moat was fun, but the inside lost a lot of its castle charm and the nice upstairs seating had been removed… although there was a field mouse my hubby and another couple enjoyed. Additionally, there were several folks smoking — which is the worst when wine tasting & a very loud band/singer to boot.

Happy opening!!! My friend and I dropped in on apparently their second day of being opened. We were very impressed! The grounds are beautiful. The inside is decorated very nicely, hip but not over the top. It’s a cool place for 30-somethings to hang out at while having a good time. We had two tastings, the Tooth and Nail and the Force of Nature(at least I think that’s them). First of all, the labels are a beautiful mix of classic art and contemporary touches. The wine itself is great and very, very reasonably priced. So much so, my friend joined on the spot and I’m joining this month. This is an everyday wine. Elegant and tasty but not break-the-bank expensive. The wine stewards(is that what they’re called?) were incredibly friendly. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly and personable. Definitely a place I’ll hang out at after work.
