KFC

I am completely appalled at what I just witnessed tonight. My family and I had to run some errands and needed a quick dinner. I was in the mood for Kentucky Fried Chicken and decided to go to the one in Passaic, NJ because it’s conveniently close to the house. They currently have a $ 20 family bucket so we ordered that. The drive through attendant (Wilmer) told us they ran out of chicken breasts and they would be ready in about 15mins, we decided to wait in the parking lot for it. We parked directly in front of the drive through window and had perfect view of the inside so we could see when they finished packing our order.
Well, while we were waiting we all witnessed some pretty disturbing behavior. Wilmer seemed to be cleaning up some food containers and I noticed that with his bare hands he scooped the bottom of the mashed potatoes container and placed it in his mouth. That was the first strike. Another employee was then seen walking around the back eating a chicken wing! Strike two. Wilmer comes back in the picture and I see him cleaning the counter with a wet rag, while cleaning he picked up crumbs and placed them in his mouth. Strike three. Then I see Wilmer again with a huge bag of shredded cheese which he proceeded to open with his teeth!!! Dumps the bag in the container and pats the cheese down with his bare hands!!! Note: no one was wearing any gloves!!! How disgusting!!! All in plain sight!!! I watched all of this in complete shock! I would have recorded this behavior but I just couldn’t seem to take my eyes away from the window to turn on my camera phone. I go inside and I tell them to cancel my order, I do not want it. I explained what I saw and the cashier seemed apologetic and embarrassed at the situation. She completely understood where I was coming from and agreed it was disgusting. I asked who was in charge and some lady came out, I explained what happened and while explaining it to her I made it a point for this Wilmer to know that I witnessed it all by pointing directly at him. Whoever was in charge (I didn’t get her name) apologized and said she would look into the cameras and returned my money. So after waiting 15 mins, my husband, my two girls and myself had to go somewhere else for dinner.
I honestly couldn’t believe what was going on at this KFC. If they are doing this in plain sight I can’t imagine what else they do when they think no one is watching! I will never ever step foot into that place again!

Stopped at the KFC drive-​thru on Main Ave for a quick dinner. I ordered a two piece, NO BISCUIT with green beans and DIET PEPSI. «We’re outta green beans.» OK, same order with «baked» beans. «We’re outta baked beans.» OK, same order with cole slaw. «OK Drive up.» Once we get to the window we’re advised that the chicken was still cooking so please pull over. After about 7 minutes later someone yells from the drive-​thru window that the chicken was ready and to come get it. Seriously? So we go back to the window to pick up a two piece with a warm slaw, a BISCUIT and a REGULAR PEPSI. Please don’t waste your time at this place.
