Having breakfast here. The food is plentiful. Im enjoying the southern hospitality skillet. It has sausage, grits, eggs, & cheese served in a cast iron skillet. It was very good. The wait staff is very pleasant here. The atmosphere is very quaint & cozy.

Our first time here and it was great! We had great service and the food was the delicious. The place is small but nice and clean. It reminds me of a diner you would see on Grease lol I had a breakfast platter, two eggs over easy with bacon, white toast and home fries. It was perfect! My hubby had the chicken quesadillas with French fries, also very yummy. We will be going back!

My all time favorite spot as a Patchogue local. My best friend and I discovered it years ago and it feels like our own special place like The Central Perk to Friends. Nothing could ever be better. Awesome food. Good times. Old fashioned but still my absolute favorite no doubt.

Only 4 stars because Maureen’s Kitchen is the pinnacle of Brunch places. Great food for the south shore since Maureen’s is on the North Shore. French Toast Is Bangin.

Terrible!!! I feel kinda sick… I’m sure there is something good here but I don’t know what it is. I had a western omelette and my fiancé had huevos rancheros. Maybe that’s what it was… never eat Mexican food in Long Island, NY. Western omellette was small dry and brown and tasted a bit fishy to me. There were big polish sausages in the huevos rancheros. Home fries were decent, but overkill on each top it off, each dish averaged $ 8 – 10. Not worth it.

I love this place! It’s a place the locals come and are known by name. The staff are very nice. You don’t see this type of eatery much anymore except on film. If you love grits the southern hospitality is for you! I always have that but must have the pancakes as well just love this place for breakfast must try lunch soon but the breakfast is hard to pass up.

My first time in new york. I came here for lunch one day a group of 6. Food was great! And they even had vegetarian options for my friend. I had the turkey triple decker and could only eat half. Great prices too: D.

Your basic greasy spoon breakfast spot, complete with sticky everything and what you get is what you get attitude Ahh gotta love it, right?

Delicious reasonable priced food. Relaxing atmosphere, with nice comfortable booths. Just make sure to bring cash, credit is not accepted.

In the pantheon of great American sandwiches, the BLT stands in good stead. A classic loved by many. B=bacon, L=Lettuce, T=Tomato. Salty, crunchy, simplicity! But at Peter’s Luncheonette, the«cook» thought the B in BLT stood for Bread. Because when I ordered a BLT recently, I received what could only be called a Lettuce sandwich with 3 anemic strips of limp bacon as a garnish. And the kicker was we had to tell our server to make it to go, as we sat there for 25 minutes without food and we had to return to work. If you want Michelle Obama style Middle School Cafeteria lunches go to Peter’s. If you want something good, try one of the many other joints on Patchogue’s main drag. TL:DR: $ 7.00 for a lettuce sandwich and it wasn’t even Romain. BLT my ass.

I went to Peter twice only because it is close to my job. Both times I ask myself why! The first time I went the summer of 2014 to treat my brother. They messed up our order three times, we asked for cheese fries and did not get them, asked for no ice in my soda got ice, then asked for onions on my burger and got no onions! The kicker to my first visit to Peter was hair in my food. I let them know and they made me look like the criminal. I said I would never go again! Why didn’t I listen to myself. Fast forward to 2015 July. I was hungry so I tried going back. The waitress, who knows where I work recognized me and embarrassed me in the store. I gave her some back took my food and left. I know Peter’s is a popular place in Patchogue and I don’t want to mess that up. It’s not the best food by a long shot! The waitress that embarrassed me must be family. Why else would they keep someone so rude there for so long? I plan never to go again.

We have been back here two more times since my last review and everything is great. We had a friendly waitress both times and the food is so good. My daughter ordered an appetizer of baked clams, and they were full sized, the way I remember restaurants used to serve them. Most places give you small, inedible clams. The clams are also one of the choices if you choose a dinner special. There is no other place you can get a dinner special of Soup, clams, entrée and dessert for less than $ 12. We enjoy coming here more than the local diners in the area

Last time I was here they didn’t except cash and it made it really inconvenient. However the owner was really nice and actually let us take our food(take out) and come back and pay. Food was alright probably would have been better if we ate there.

The food was decent service was good aswell, My main issue is that our table wasn’t wiped down when we we’re seated and there was still debris from the last customer which was absolutely disgusting, I cleaned the table myself, and to be honest i feel georges has a better atmosphere, food and service!

Good hearty classic breakfast place. The waiter brought me bacon instead of sausage and they didn’t accept credit cards, but overall it was fairly priced and good. Will return one day.

I rarely give 5 stars but there is nothing about Peter’s that I do not like. The service is great. The waitstaff is friendly and some treat you as if you are family. The portions are huge. We usually go for breakfast but have had the complete dinner a few times as well. In regards to the food not being fresh this has not been my experience. I have eaten at other places where I know the food is frozen and the prices are also extremely expensive; for breakfast especially. At least at Peter’s you are paying less than $ 8 for everything as compared to $ 10 and up without a free juice. **It’s insulting to have a reviewer say that people who like their food have not experienced a good meal. Especially when the reviewer only ate there once. Go to Peter’s and see for yourself. It’s not pretentious and gaudy and you get served by real people trying to make a living. As I write I am still trying to think of one meal I didn’t like. I have only lived in Patchogue for 6 months and I am therefore certainly not a regular. George’s is great too but I have seen the wait staff be treated poorly on more than one occasion which is why I prefer the friendly atmosphere of Peter’s.

Good«old school» breakfast place. Wait staff was friendly. Had a good egg white omelette with turkey and broccoli from their«health nuts» section.
