This place is the bees knees. The cheesy garlic bread is a lil slice of heaven! The sliders were perfecto.

My husband and I stumbled upon The Meatball Place while wandering Patchogue. It was the perfect spot for lunch! The service was excellent and the food was even better. The atmosphere was really cool, the place was clean and we were able to sit outside. My husband had the chicken parm meatballs– excellent. I had a salad with meatballs on the side-awesome. We didn’t get to try the desserts but they looked just as good. We definitely want to go back.

Rudest staff I’ve ever seen in my life. Not worth it. Literally about to enter and kicked of for wearing a tank top for wanting to grab a bite to eat. Never coming back.

Had dinner here Saturday night. Arrived around 6 with no reservation, they were busy, but seated us right away at a nice table. The place is huge, the bathroom is nice. Liked the concept of mixing an matching the menu items Started with the tater tots, they were pretty big, and nicely fried crispy, but inside was more like a knish. I’l a consistancy person, so this was a fail for me, although my husband liked them. Then we did the wedding soup. Mine was full of little meatballs, which were very good. Husband got two haha. The spinach was not cooked, which I found weird. Almost like it was just thrown in there… We mentioned the lack of meatballs to the waitress, and she just aid it was fresh made, whatever the heck that means. Did not offer another, or take it off the bill. Not cool. The entrees were very good. The 4 meatball combo was enough for dinner(since we had the appys) and lunch the next day. I loved the chicken spinach meatball, noce flavor and moist went well with the mushroom sauce and the revs(4 huge ones btw, tasted fresh) My husband had the regular meetballs with ribbon pasta and oriental sauce. He liked them, but he’s not picky, so you have to judge yourself. All and all it was a good meal at a fair price. I’d go back if I had a longing for comfort food.

my demented weasel of a pal lives down the road and forced me to eat here at knife point. I told her no and she began to take swipes at my neck, so I obliged. after arguing for over an hour with her over how many balls we needed to be satiated, we agreed on 42 chicken balls, layered with a mushroom cream sauce. within a few moments of scarfing, I began to violently choke; the potent flavor of it drew an eerie compassion to WWF champion Undertaker’s sweaty ballsack. I’ll never come here again. and the pal that forced me here suffered food poisoning. good.

If I could ask you to do me a favor, it would be to close your eyes and imagine my f#^ken face right now. It mirrors the batshit stare of that truck sized cafeteria lunch lady you used to peer at in 7th grade; the one that horrified ya and smelt like a hedge hog passed away whenever she showed up at your table to scream at ya unruly, attention deficit ass. As you’re contemplating an order of some meaty balls to feast on, what in the ging gang goolie does that weird comparison have to do with Meetball in Patchogue, you’re wondering. Take it from a man who’s felt pure pain eating here; a man that feels similar to what that old, hunched over woman endured waking up every morning to patrol a chaotic cafeteria like Alcatraz. I ordered their seafood balls on a bed of lukewarm Costco spaghetti noodles; it had the taste of the microwaveable dinners my Uncle Larry used to scarf at while he watched Wheel of Fortune. I wanted to sling shot these circular breadcrumb bombs at the hostess for the sake of middle school nostalgia but refrained. To my fellow man, this is the worst meal I’ve had in some time. For a restaurant with a ballsy moniker alluding to thoughts of testicles with every offering on the menu, a bigger defeat.

So Justin M. got us tickets for Paint Nite here after we’ve been dying to try both so why not kill 2 birds with one stone. We got to the bar early so we could have dinner before the event and partake in happy hour that I read online. However, the specials were different than the ones online so that was a little confusing. It was $ 5 for wine and $ 4 drafts but they came in these small mason jars so beware. For dinner we each got the meetball sampler and a salad. It was $ 10 for 3 meatballs and 3 sauces and $ 10 for the salad. The salad was gross. There was no flavor and it was just so bland. I couldn’t eat it. The meatballs were delicious though. I got the classic, the buffalo chicken, and the risotto balls. They were all very good but still $ 10 for 3 meatballs? I would understand if they were bigger but, no. Overall the experience was meh. We were disappointed with this place because we had heard such good things about it. The inside is nicely decorated and has that relaxed hipster vibe feel but our bartender was cold and the food over priced. We enjoyed our Paint Nite event but I would only come back here if I really had to I guess.

Went here the other day with my boyfriend for lunch. I had a half of an arugula salad(which I highly recommend, it was delicious and I got a lot more than I thought I would for a «half» salad) and I got a buffalo chicken meatball on a slider and a lamb meatball on a slider with mushroom cream. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the service was really excellent. My only complaint would be that the lamb meatball kind of tasted too much like cinnamon which I wasn’t expecting/didn’t like.

The food is phenomenal, and it’s a very unique concept: every entrée is a kind of meatball, with whatever you want on it. But…it’s so friggin’ loud in there! I can’t hear the waitress and I can’t hear the friends I come with. It does not make for an enjoyable evening when you have to shout every word and repeat half of them.

Is it supposed to be Meetball or Meatbal Place? Anyway, my girlfriend and I decided to do a Paint Nite event at That Meatball place. We came an hour early for HH and some dinner at the bar. The specials online show Two-for-One on beer drafts and well drinks as well as $ 5 select wines. The wine special was right but the well drink special and draft special on the website are wrong so don’t expect it. The HH specials are $ 4 drafts for a mason jar of beer which is probably half off knowing pint prices are between $ 7 – 9 usually. We both wanted to try out a few meatballs seeing it was our first time here so we opted each to make a sampler. You can read her reviews of hers(Victoria S.) but mine were pretty good just over priced. Actually everything on the menu looked good, and I’m sure tasted good, but was over priced. I paid $ 10 for 3 meatballs and $ 10 for a side salad. The meatballs I tried were; The classic, the buffalo chicken, and the lamb, each served with your choice of sauce and a small toast point. The classic was good with spicy marinara(more like a few chopped tomatoes not sauce). The lamb had nice earthy spices from the cumin served with a tzatziki sauce. The favorite was the buffalo chicken with the only option of a blue cheese cream sauce and hot sauce over the top. The salad though was horrible for $ 10. Just a bunch of romaine thrown on a plate with some beans and tomato and a little dressing. No way I would order that again, the dressing wasn’t even mixed in just poured on top. Overall I would only come back here with a group of friends. We saw on the menu they have 4 of the same flavor meatballs for $ 10. Say you have 4 friends, each order 4 flavors. Now we are talking about a meatball party. A nice place, big an open but too expensive for dinner. We were starving two hours later and went nearby for a burger.

So I recently came here for Paint Nite with my mom because I got her a Paint Nite voucher off of Groupon as one of her Christmas gifts and it was finally time to use it. We both decided we should go somewhere where the food looked appetizing and where the painting looked like we could do it. Disclaimer… I know I am not a good artist. My creativity comes out when I cook NOT when I draw or paint. Anyway so we decide on «That Meetball Place» because we’ve seen it on our many of trips down to Patchogue and the picture looked manageable. We arrive about a good 20 minutes thinking quick eat and have a drink before paint. I’m not gonna lie… at first I was a little nervous and unsure as to what to eat because we had to be quick. I’m used to mine & my family’s traditional Meatballs so trying these were a little off the beaten path for me. Yet I was intrigued. My mom and I looking over the menu and felt like we were staring lost in space when all of a sudden I spy something that looks like maybe little potato croquettes. Surprise it’s their house made tots with horseradish cream! Sold. Only thing I’d suggest was get rid of the dill as the garnish. It was far too much. But the tots and the horseradish cream. Hellooooo No brainer! Then we decided we’d start with a meatball and we decide on a Lobster Risotto ball. The waiter suggested to order it with Pancetta Cream. Again another winner. I could easily eat another two of these minus the tots. So so so good. Our waiter was quick and so friendly so that was another win. Now for Paint Nite. Overall my mom and I both had fun and I think our paintings actually came out quite well. I’d definitely suggest doing a paint nite. I know it’s corny but it’s fun. You also definitely do not paint by numbers and you have a blank canvas. Everything that winds up on your canvas is something you painted. Would I be back to That Meetball Place? Hell yeah! This seems like a great place to get a bite to eat and an adult beverage or two of your choice. Would I do Paint Nite again? Hell yea!!!

$ 7 beers were a great start. Besides my friend being stabbed and me being shot in the kneecap for the fifth time we have it another whirl. The world works I’m mysterious places. We find ourselves in a local Meetball to meet and greet the world. Minus the one armed man and the obvious musk of Velvet in the air. We talked about dreams and aspirations… Until then the soup arrived. Being shot was a dream compared to the gravy train marinara mess we call soup in the great east. Again my friend was stabbed here. I recommend the risotto.

I’m a very big fan of The Meatball Shop in the city so though I was excited when I heard about this place, I was also definitely skeptical. I decided to give it a try because I love the whole concept of a restaurant revolving around meatballs. When I arrived I was pretty surprised to see live music since I had expected a relatively relaxed atmosphere for a Wednesday night. They were definitely trying to draw in customers with the live music and the ladies night specials but it kind of just threw off the vibe. As for the food, I opted for the balls of fire in a bowl with pesto sauce and a side of the dynamite truffle fries. The meatballs were good, not spicy or very flavorful like I wanted but they were very moist and decent. The pesto was quite disappointing. What I love in pesto is some good texture and flavor from the pine nuts but this one was lacking. Overall this dish fell a little flat. The truffle fries were very good though. I love truffles so the more the merrier and this had just enough truffle flavor for me. I probably would not come back here. When trying to ripoff another successful chain restaurant’s idea I think the execution needs to be on point and unfortunately in comparison to The Meatball Place, That Meetball Place did not live up to its expectations.

I love love love love this place. This statement is insane because I don’t eat meatballs. That’s how good it is. I’m a HUGE fan of their Brooklyn Burrata salad, it is one of my most favorite restaurant meals in the world. Its this amazing salad with a big, beautiful piece of cheese sitting in the middle of it, and I will order this salad every time for the rest of my life when I come here. They also have one of my most favorite milkshakes — the campfire!!! Its vanilla ice cream mixed with graham crackers with chocolate syrup drizzled on the inside of the glass, and mini marshmallows that are placed on top that are charred a little. Seriously, its heaven. The front part of the restaurant is restaurant/bar, where if you are there late enough on a Saturday night, you will see them start to remove the tables to make the front room full bar. Also, depending which night you go, there is live music which I’m all for but its really loud and makes having a conversation hard. We brought my husband’s grand mom and she had to turn off her hearing aid at the first table we were sitting at because it was so loud, but thankfully we were able to get moved to another table further away. There is also a back room of the restaurant that is more traditional sit down, but every time I go there is a reason I can’t get a table back there, ex. — no servers for that area, someone is having a private party etc. But it doesn’t matter because I really love the food and I have a great time every time I’m there.

That Meetball Place is a pretty blatant rip-off of The Meatball Shop in NYC. Sure, the menu is larger, but it’s expanded in a way that makes it feel like a big corporate chain restaurant and not a unique dining establishment. But the basic concept, the daily risottos and balls posted on a chalkboard… all of that echoes TMS rather loudly.(I must admit, I went to TMS in the city the day before I came to TMP, so it was very easy to compare). The food was good, but not great. We started with the burrata salad, which was my favorite part of the meal. It was huge and fresh and filling, and I only had half of it! The vinaigrette was good, as was the burrata, but there could have been a little more tomato and bacon. The waitress was kind enough to add this salad onto our order 10 minutes after we placed it originally, and it still made it out before the rest of our food, and I do appreciate that. Next we had some meatballs: I went for the chicken balls with pancetta cream, naked and on their own. They were good, and the sauce was nice, but I do prefer the cream sauce over at TMS. I felt like their sauce was very thin and did not hold up well in the dish. But it was flavorful and edible. My boyfriend had the buffalo chicken balls, which come with compulsory blue cheese cream sauce and hot sauce. You can’t mix and match the buffalo chicken with the other sauce choices, and the blue cheese only comes with the buffalo chicken. Which makes sense I guess. He liked his balls just fine, and I think he was a bit more satisfied with his balls than I was. He did the sandwich option, which I think worked well for the flavors. I also got the side of mac and cheese($ 6) and was largely disappointed by that. I thought it was dry and just not worth it. The thing that I disliked the most was the live music, because it was very intrusive. I think live music can really enhance your dining experience when it’s done correctly. This just detracted from the dining experience. It was loud and difficult to talk over the music and the sounds of people trying to have their own conversations over the music. During peak dinner times, there is definitely no need for more noise. Overall 2.5−3 out of 5 stars. I really want to try that giant pretzel appetizer but I don’t think we will be back.

In simple terms, this«Meatball Place» sucks. Very disappointing menu options: the create your own meatball meal option doesn’t let you mix and match their very small meatball variety so I was stuck ordering a sampler of three meatballs. The meatballs are very small, about the size of a golf ball. Tried the Moroccan meatball which stated was seasoned with eight spices. It barely had any spice, a mild kick is all. The classic meatball was blah and the marinara sauce was too oniony. Worst was the lobster risotto meatball which had a gross melted cheese in the middle that ruined the whole thing. I was looking forward to that the most but was let down by the cheese. Then there’s the two corn polenta with mozzarella cheese. Ugh, the polenta was too mushy which I hate and the cheese just didn’t go with it at all. A sharper cheese on top would’ve worked but not mozzarella. Only reason I didn’t give this place one star was because a server noticed I wasn’t satisfied and she apologized. She even did the right thing by deducting the meatball I barely touched. I will give credit for that, service does their best to be professional. I simply can not recommend this place.

Not a bad place. One of the better restaraunt/bars in the main street Patchogue area. LOCATION: Right on main street across from bank of america. DECOR: Nice inside, casual. Dark wood tables and booths line the walls. Average sized bar. Good amount of TVs on the walls for sports fans. FOOD: The food here is pretty good, nothing too special. Usually get the cheesy garlic bread appetizer and classic meatballs with rigatoni. The cheesy bread is good, crispy and alot of cheese. The meatballs are standard, nothing to write home about. I actually expected alot better since it is called Meetball Place lol. Perhaps what I didn’t like most is their marinara sauce on the meatballs/pasta. Very average/jar tasting. The entrée is pricey also, for the 4 meatballs and rigatoni bowl it is about $ 15. SERVICE: Service was good, friendly waitress and efficient. However I didn’t like that we were told we have to give up our table for the live band coming in at 9. We ended up leaving because we didn’t want to stand around with our drinks. We went to tap room to continue drinking. shame because if we had been able to keep the table we probably would have stayed there all night instead of going to a different bar.

I truly love this place. I went here for alive after five and have been here once before on a slow night. Yesterday when I went for alive after five the place was packed. There were people from the tip of the door to the very back of the restaurant but my friends and I really did not care, we were just happy that we were finally eating something. My expectations for the meatball place were surpassed because I assumed since they were packed there food would not come out as well as the time I had visited on a slow night… BOYWAS I WRONG! The food came out ten times better than the first time I visited. Meatballs were perfectly seasoned. Not too much. The spaghetti wasn’t too hard or to soft. The tomato sauce tasted so fresh and not two sweet which is important to me… I like my sauce to taste like tomatoes bit sugar. I mean overall I truly enjoyed my time here and even with the huge crowd of people the service was on point and we did not feel over looked. BRAVOTOTHESTAFF! We will be back.

I enjoyed everything about my dining experience here. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the front of the restaurant was open, illuminating the entire space with natural light and airiness. For my cocktail, I had the blueberry tea, which was blueberry vodka, tea and a splash of sour mix. I asked for extremely light on the sour mix and it was perfect. SOFRESHANDSATISFYING, and as everyone says, there is just something about drinking from a mason jar. I had the Kale Salad as my app and it was so good, the buttermilk dressing was spot on and really tied everything together. I knew what I was getting even before I got here. The bean veggie meatball, with tzatziki sauce, the rice veggie meatball with pesto and the classic with marinara and a scoop of ricotta. All the meatballs were amazing, my least favorite being the bean veggie, but it was still good. My favorite was the rice veggie ball with pesto, the flavors were so on point and the ball was perfectly cooked. You have to try their pesto, its out of this world. For dessert we got the skillet cookie with a scoop of cappuccino gelato. The cookie was drizzled with Hershey’s syrup. I’m always impressed when a restaurant doesn’t use Hershey’s syrup, so they didn’t get points for that, BUT the gelato was insanely delicious. The cookie could have been crispier, but the gelato made up for everything. The service was fast and friendly, I would make the trek out here to enjoy some balls anyday!
