I love the service at this Salon. I’ve been getting my hair done here with Albert and Angelica for about a year and now my whole family comes here! All natural products that smell amazing!

I can’t believe it took me so long to discover Avalon Aveda Concept Salon in Patterson. I had such great experiences that I am compelled to write my very first Unilocal review. This salon is all about quality products, professional customer service and expert hair styling. When I arrived for my appointment with Albert, I was greeted warmly and offered a complimentary cup of Aveda Comforting Tea. Before cutting off 10 – 12 inches, Albert asked if I would like to donate my hair to Locks of Love. I happily agreed, and was so glad he asked. I would have never thought my dry, colored hair could be donated. Albert gave me an aromatherapy inhalation treatment, followed with an amazing scalp and shoulder massage. My hair was sectioned in four ponytails and carefully cut and ready to be donated. Next step was the shampoo bowl for more aromatherapy and a nice shampoo scalp massage. I felt so relaxed.
On to the haircut. My hair is thick, course and difficult to cut. Albert had no problems with it. He artfully mastered the lob I requested, thinned my hair and blended the weight line perfectly. During my appointment, I was never nervous or unsure about parting with my long, heavy hair. Much of that was due to how comfortable and confident I perceived Albert to be. He finished with a curling technique that he showed me how to do. I was very happy with my new look and scheduled my next appointment for color.
Fast forward to one week later before the new year. I was scheduled with Angelica and received the same friendly welcome. I showed Angelica a picture of the style I was aiming for… dark on top, light at the bottom. Angelica asked me a few questions, but for the most part I let her decide which color would work right for me. She did not disappoint!!! The light color at the bottom is exactly what I was looking for. It blends perfectly with my dark hair and medium skin tone. Before Angelica finished with a blow dry and curls, she pampered me with a relaxing hand massage while waiting for the leave-​in conditioning treatment. Just another amazing experience with another amazing stylist.
Ultimately, Avalon Aveda Concept Salon is the place to go for your next haircut, color or style. Michelle, the owner, is just as personable. I saw Michelle work on other clients, and she is also a phenomenal stylist. Thank you, Avalon Aveda Concept Salon! See you in February when I will be ready to change it up again.

It’s exactly what I was expecting.

Me being new to the whole styling scene Albert was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me come up with a style that as easy for me to do at home and maintain. Easy to make appointments friendly staff that always make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. I would recommend Albert to anyone he always leaves me looking and feeling like a million bucks.

I’m very picky when it comes to my gentlemens haircut. Albert is a very talented man. Take him a picture of what you want and he will get it done. Not only does he do a great job with the scissors, but also takes care of your hair. My girlfriend, siblings, and in-​laws are all clients of Albert. We all drive about 40 miles. Well worth the drive. I’ll recommend him for both men and women to anyone anywhere.

I’m very particular about who does my hair, and after having to drive literally 50+ miles both ways to get a decent gentleman’s haircut, I was fortunate to find Albert at Avalon! I’ve been seeing him for well over a year now and I don’t think I’ve had a better Barber/​hairstylist. I often get compliments on my haircut, and I never hesitate to refer them to Albert! Everyone there is very hospitable and courteous, they make you feel right at home while you wait! The environment is great!!! You’ll love your haircut I guarantee it!

I’ve been looking for a barber in the valley for a while now and I’m pretty picky about my hair. I’m pretty sure Albert is that barber. This dude knows what he’s doing and he’s a takes his time making sure your cut is perfect. Definitely check him out, you won’t be disappointed.

Michele has been cutting my hair for 16 years. She’s absolutely the best, I drive from Oakdale to Patterson every 6 weeks, for my cut. I know she has other clients that drive from the Bay Area for her service. I love the Aveda Products, the staff and I highly recommend this salon !!

This salon is awesome!!! I am so glad they are in Patterson!!! Albert did amazing job on my hair, he cut 12″ off and it feels so healthy! His technique is so different, and I appreciate the time he spent explaining the process. Nice surprise was the head massage totally not expected, but it felt sooooo good!

Angelica and Alberto make an awesome team. They perfectly compliment each other in creativity and talents. I’ve been getting my hair colored and cut by them for the past almost two years. I can’t tell you the many times I’ve been stopped on the street by complete strangers, complementing me on my color. (All their doing) They’re very honest with regards what will work and what won’t. They take their time with their creations and ensure a top notch quality outcome. For such a small town, Patterson has struck gold with these two. I consider myself blessed to have found them.

Not only are Aveda products THE BEST, but Michelle, Angelica and Albert are experts at what they do! Great colors, styles, waxing, spa services and product availability. Avalon Salon is great for the entire family!

Went here for an hour long massage while getting my truck serviced. Great job. Clean. Quiet. Safe. Accommodating. I’ll come back.

I’ve been going to this salon for the past 12 years and they are the best! Michelle has been doing my hair and she does AMAZING cut and color!!! Angelica has cut my husbands hair and styled mine before and she was awsome! They are cutting edge and creative which is rare for the central valley! I lived in SF for years and would drive down to get my hair done by them… thats how good they are. They use only the best products (Aveda) and love pampering their customers. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants fabulous hair!

Went here a few times. The first haircut was wild, but I thought it might grow on me. The next time, not so much. The third time (yes, I know, shame on me) my hair was so bad it took my next stylist 4 months to fix it. Angelica was my stylist’s name, I think. Anyway, the last one was so wild I swear another girl in the salon slyly took a photo of it on her phone on my way out. I shudder to think where that photo has gone.
