Stopped by on a Sunday morning for the first time after living in town for over 5 years. Owners are friendly and know their regular clientele. Line gets long as it’s a small place but they keep us moving and it was a quick in and out for a dozen donuts. Super good, the best was the chocolate glazed old fashion, full of glaze with a chocolate layer, and so soft. These donuts beat a grocery store donut any day of the week. I believe it is cash only so plan ahead and convenient as they open early every day!

Best donuts I’ve ever had. The same sweet family has been doing it for years and they are the same donuts they were over twenty years ago. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it right? You won’t be disappointed, just don’t arrive too late because they almost always sell out.

The absolute best doughnuts in the world. I have have tried doughnuts in Modesto, Turlock, Los Angeles and many places in between. Whenever I take friends from out of town they all agree that Sunshine has it all figured out. The family that runs the shop is alway pleasant and happy. If you are looking to pack on some calories, this is the place for it!!! :-)

I grew up in the small town of Patterson CA. Whenever I watched my parents walk up to the house with that little pink box, my eyes would glaze brighter than those awesome doughnuts. I’ve been to 20+ states and 5 other countries. Never have I tasted a better doughnut than here. If you have ever wondered what taking a bite out of heaven would taste like, look no further. Traveling through Stanislaus county via I5 early in the morning? Take the ten minute detour and your lives will change forever. Don’t settle for those gas stationed white powdered doughnuts that piss you off because your Hanes black T shirt has now fallen victim of a powder attack. Stop by Sunshine Donut for a slice of magic.

Awesome doughnuts. Only downfall is if you too late, you miss all the best doughnuts as the place opens very early and sells through most of their options. Family owned and very friendly.

Solid donut place, consistently good. Personally love the glazed as they are fluffy and chewy, good density. Can’t go wrong here.

A long time ago in a land far away, a small asian man decided to open a bakery in Patterson, CA. Over the course of 200 years the donut recipe was perfected. Now they create the best double glazed apple fritters in the Californian Valley and work to provide diabetic comas to all citizens brave enough to be seduced by the sugars. Fuck yes!

THE best doughnut I’ve had since Junior High School.(38 years ago). Not over-sweet, flaky and light. As close to prefect as there is. Friendly, courteous and cheerful staff. Simply the best.

This is a really good place very quiet and simple nice to go to relax they do frappuccinos for $ 2.50 and mochas for $ 3.50 haven’t tried them yet but I will next time =), and for a dozen of doughnut holes are $ 1.50,ane for a dozen of doughnuts I think are $ 4.99 but they really big doughnuts I recommend anyone new to go try it but if you do try the Apple fritter
