Ok, I would not normally review a McDonalds, we all know what kind of food we are getting, but I have to leave a review because of the manager. The staff were the nicest people you would meet, all smiles, but the manager was rude and absolutely unprofessional with his employees. The wait for food was a little long, but he did not have to bark at his employees.

If you have to stop here, I highly recommend that before you pull away from the drive thru open everything that you ordered. They either do not listen to your order or to keep the line moving they give you what they have. Nothing worse than opening up the meal you wanted to find something else.

So growing up here I expect that I would at least try to provide a positive review, but I can’t do it this time. We stopped in here last week after coming into town for some errands. It was later in the evening and the place wasn’t busy. We got a simple meal and sat down to eat. All of a sudden from behind the counter we hear an employee say rather loudly to another employee that he didn’t have to ^%$^%$& sweep the floor and that he could go !@$&^@ himself. I am not offended or upset too easily but this got my attention. After this continued with other«kids» behind the counter, my wife summoned the manager who seem all too oblivious to what was happening from her perch in the back office. She did offer my 9 year old daughter a free McFlurry but that wasn’t cutting it for me. I asked to have the store owner/manager call me but I haven’t seen or heard from this individual yet even though this manager took down my name and number. I suspect I should give them a call because I’m sure my information got flushed promptly down the toilet after I left.

«Of all the gin joints in all the world»…I had to pick this McD’s of all the 24 hour locations on the ride home from Chi town? Honestly the food was OK… a little skimpy on the small fry and the coffee was weak and tasted funny but my wait was ridiculous… maybe the peeps in front of me just needed to get their fix for 500 McNuggets or something. Once I got to the window the service was friendly at least.

I’m not the biggest fan of McDonalds, this location is pretty close to the highway. The restrooms and the location was nice and clean and they had many lines when ordering food. The wait was very short. It was really easy to get back on the highway which is a big plus if you want to get to your destination quickly.

Boy, with people like these, it’s a wonder McDonald’s hasn’t gone under. After today’s experience, we’re never going back. So we were in the mood for some of the oatmeals that they serve, and went ahead and placed our order. By the time we get to the window and pay, we’re told it’s going to be about a minute for our food, and to please pull off into one of the parking spaces. We refused– after all, it’ll only take a minute, right?- and that’s when things get interesting. Out comes a guy in a blue shirt and a tie, who tells us «it takes a little while to cook oatmeal.» So we pull off to the parking space and a few minutes later, the same guy in the blue shirt and tie runs out our oatmeal and generally treats us like yesterday’s garbage– telling us «here’s your oatmeal– and if you don’t like it, don’t come here ever again.» We informed him that we were going to contact corporate about his behavior, only to recieve a condescending«I AM corporate!» in response from him. I didn’t get this guy’s name, but he’s got gray-blonde hair, kind of average weight, white skin, and short. If this guy’s behind the counter, run for the hills. Nobody deserves to be treated like this, especially paying customers.
