This restaurant was recommended by a gal who lives in Pawleys Island. We arrived early as it is Friday night. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my hubby ordered pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes. I wasn’t sure I would like the grits, but my son-in-law said when you are in the south you have to order the shrimp and grits. They were absolutely yummy! Hubby said the pork was very good… served with wilted greens which were very tasty. The service was excellent as well. Would certainly return here again if we ever come back.

The BEST burger I’ve had in all my 49 years! Service was great, food was phenomenal just wished I had tried that Bloody Mary! This place will be our«must go» to place when we visit the area from Savannah!

Wow great food and excellent atmosphere. She crab soup was outstanding! We got the surf and turf and the comfy(fried chicken). Both were very well prepared and tasted great. The servers were very attentive but we’re not too in your face. We finished things off with crime brûlée and chocolate pecan pie for desert. Both were delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back when we are in town.

Fantastic food with amazing flavor! We had the Seafood Diablo special and the taste was phenomenal. The staff was courteous and helpful, the chef was able to work with some dietary restrictions, and the ambiance was relaxing and clean. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is charming from beginning to end. We went on a Friday night but it’s off season so it wasn’t terribly crowded. The bartender was very knowledgeable about his beer and wine sections. The restaurant also has a great happy hour. We got seated by a very nice hostess and our waitress greeted us in a timely manner but was not overbearing. Food here is excellent, portions are large. We tried their calamari special, and the calamari was fried perfectly and the batter and sauce was flavorful. I had the Trout Almandine, my husband had the fried chicken, my parents had shrimp and grits and chicken Alfredo. Each dish was prepared perfectly. I tried their sangria and it was a peach and blueberry flavor, it was delish! This restaurant is one of my favorites when I come to the area to visit. You will not be disappointed!!!

My friends and I had brunch at Rustic Table today and we LOVED it! I had the Shrimp N Gritz entrée and it was amazing. Best shrimp and grits I have ever had. My friend loved the Monte Cristo and the other got the Bloody Mary and holy cow that thing was awesome! This was my first visit to Pawleys and I hope I will visit again soon so I can try other menu items. Also, great service and atmosphere.

My husband and I went there for dinner. We will warmly welcomed and sat at a lovely table. I had ordered chicken my husband had ordered the ribs both meals were delicious. As usual my husband and I tried each other’s dishes and we will both very satisfied. Two minor complaints, one was above our table there was a drip from the vent directly onto my lap. I did let the waitress know about that. She offered to move us but we refused I simply moved over as we were in the middle of our meal. The other complaint was that a group of elderly people sat behind us. We were trying to enjoy your meal, however the elderly people spoke so loud apparently because they can’t hear each other. It was disruptive to our time together. Aside from that though we had a wonderful time and look forward to our next dinner there.

Make sure to order the proud Mary… Best Bloody Mary you’ll ever get. John runs the show behind the bar and his recommendations are spot on. The shrimp and grits is out of this world. Everything was fantastic.

Wow. You know those times when you’re on a small road trip and you don’t plan on stopping except maybe for some nasty fast food… just to get you through it. But that always turns into regret, kinda like that high school dance date that was boring and broke out in a fresh acne rash that morning. I hate that. You hate that. And Rustic Table is NOTTHAT. You want impressive? You want southern cooking? You want seafood? Comfort food? Homemade desserts? How about a great wine selection where the glasses are ginormous? Then what the hell are you still reading my review for… tap the«directions» button and get yourself to Rustic Table. And please don’t tell them I sent you because they don’t know me. PS, they have great service, too!

The greatest ribs I have ever had. The meat was really tender and just melted in your mouth. The portions were huge so come with a empty stomach, you will be leaving satisfied and happy. The serve was excellent and will be eating there again when I am in town. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a love for ribs.

We came for lunch. Excellent service and Dog friendly on the patio. Very clean and friendly. Patio is comfortable and cool. A big plus if your a north easterner. We had Fried Chicken Livers and Fried Gator. The liver came with a spicy ketchup which did a good job of cutting the velvety texture of the liver. The gator came with a mustard sauce that was a bit overpowering. Both were very good. For entrees we had the BBQ Brisket on Texas toast and the Oyster Po Boy. Again, both outstanding. The brisket especially deserves accolades. It was amazing. I would highly recommend Rustic Table. Of all the Pawleys Island Restaurants I would say it is only bettered by Bisqit, which so far is in a class of its own.

Amazing New South food — Bleu Cheese Red Bliss Potatoes are, in fact, blissful. Sweet tea collards set a new bar… Smash Burger was big enough(and delish enough) to share. Our server, Angela, demonstrated what customer service is all about, and outdoor seating on this beautiful September evening — priceless. A definite destination for future visits.

My wife and I stopped in after Church after reading all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Only star was a warm welcome and fast seating. The hight top table was so sticky the forks stuck to it. We asked to be moved to another table. My egg white Pawleys omelet was tasty but was very small. Maybe two egg whites? The home fries where greasy and just warm. No bread was offered with the breakfast? I have never had breakfast without some type of bread included? Maybe you get bread if you order eggs over easy and not an omelet? I may try it again, but with great choices in Pawleys, Litchfield and Georgetown it will be awhile before we return. I think the prices where pretty expensive for the meals. Not worth what was charged.

This place is fantastic. Shrimp and grits are unreal. All brunch items are fantastic. Skip the line at Eggs Up Grill. This place is tastier and you won’t have the line. This will be a staple for our future trips to Pawley’s!

We were driving from Charleston to Pawleys island and decided to stop here for lunch. The food and service was great. We shared the roasted chicken salad sandwich and the turkey Reuben and both were delicious. We came back for dinner the next night and were pleased by the dinner options also. My only word of advice is to come hungry because they give you A TON of food!

Dropped by here for dinner. By far my favorite restaurant in Pawleys island. We got the salmon and crab stuff flounder. Absolutely wonderful! Portions are huge! Service was top notch. The owner remembered us and was very sweet. We will definitely be regulars here every time we visit.

I had my first meal here and loved it. I had the beef brisket, which I would liken it more to a pot roast… either way, it was solid. The fries were a little disappointing for what I was expecting. My business associate/client had one of the specials… a fish/salad. He was not overwhelmed, but not dissatisfied. I look forward to trying out the menu on my next visit. It should be noted that the service was exceptional. From the waitress, to the hostess, to the busboy, etc… solid!

Entertaining our friends from California(Dan and Kathy) we opted to give it a chance as it has been open only 2 weeks and we were not sure what to expect. We spent the day at Brookgreen Gardens and had a wonderful lunch at the museum restaurant. Opting for a lighter more casual dinner than the night before and to treat our friends to a more indigenous dining experience… this seemed to fit the bill. Our hostess and waitress were very attentive and dinner came out all at once, nice and warm. Wine menu was OK, nothing too special, but offered several varietals by the glass. Wife had the Comfy(chicken bathed in gravy over a bisquet) and I opted for a cut of the she-crab soup(OK) and the pork chops. but it was the sides that win a gold star… the fried okra was super good, light and tasty, the collard greens were some of the best I have had. Our California guests were equally impressed and as one is a vegan, there were plenty of «sides» on the menu to keep him happy. SaleebScore: Food: 8⁄10; Service: 9⁄10; Value: 9.5÷10 Only knock: Loud… they need to work on the acoustics to dampen the ambient noise of other patrons; sort of difficult to keep a conversation with inside-voices.
