Burger Bar

Really good. Got the jalapeño poppers… the aren’t your ordinary frozen poppers… whole jalapeños stuffed with cheese. I made my own burgers: fried egg and cheddar cheese… so good… service was really good… can’t wait to return.

My girlfriend and I have been here twice. The first was shortly after it opened. We sat on the patio and had the Margarita Pizza with a few beers. Food was good, beer was fresh, service was good. Stopped by again on Xmas ever (12÷24÷15). they were running ½ price apps. Bill came at full price and I was very surprised to see that i was charged over $ 4 for a pint of regular Narragansett Larger, more than the Bud Lite my girlfriend was drinking. I verified that I wasn’t being charged for a specialty beer and they said that the price was correct. Most area pub/​restaurants charge $ 2-​$ 3 for Narragansett and if they charge more it is usually in line with other domestics (bud lite, bud, coors, etc).

Terrible. Went for the first time for dinner on a Friday night. There were 6 people in there. We asked the waitress if this was normal for a Friday night and she said yes, they’re usually slow. That should’ve been our first clue. The atmosphere was non-​existent and there was a subtle but distinct odor to the place. We had to move from our first table because the light bulb above us was flickering. Our party of four ordered 2 beers, a martini and a soda. We also ordered the Calamari special (average flavor, but soggy from all the sauce they put on it.) The waitress took forever to bring our drink order over. When we asked what the delay was the waitress told us she was still waiting on our drinks at the bar. (There were SIX people in there! You’re just mixing ONE drink and pouring beer! How long does it take?!) While we waited, the owner of the bar came over and tried to SELL us tickets for her paint night she has coming up! What?! Finally our drinks arrived. My mom order the martini. After one sip she told us it tasted like chemicals and like it had no alcohol. When she told the waitress, instead of apologizing and offering to take it off the bill, she argued that the drink was done right and that the bar staff «uses exact measurements, so it there’s no way it’s wrong.» We all ordered burgers — (and were informed that every side other than potato chips was a $ 2-​$ 3 surcharge!) One of the sides came and wasn’t what we asked for, the chili that came with one of the burgers was dreadful and only had one spoonful eaten before being pushed aside, too. My mom asked for a water (since her undrunk-​martini was still sitting on the edge of the table waiting to be taken away), but after several it still hadn’t arrived and we had to ask for it again. Then when we asked on refills for beers, she brought the wrong beer for not just one, but two of us! Throughout dinner there was a live band setting up, but we were hurrying to leave because during their (extensive) sound check it became apparent that the dining room was waaaay too small for a full band to be playing. When our bill arrived it was clear how ridiculously overpriced everything was and the martini was still on the bill! Before leaving, I spoke with the owner privately to express our discontent. She blamed it all on the kitchen staff, and offered us to come back again at no charge. No thanks! The icing on the cake? As we were leaving I heard her stop two young girls at the door and tell them there was A COVER CHARGE to come in! Seriously, what a joke.

Solid place for a fresh burger and cold beers. Food was great, burgers are huge and homemade chips are very good. The food and service get 5 stars. The only downfall to the burger bar is a limited menu. I had the chowder which was loaded with clams, which is very rare in most establishments. Also, Friday nights they serve fresh fish and chips, will definitely be back

Ordered a burger cooked medium for pick up. Hostess called me back 3 – 4 minutes after ordering to ‘test’ my number/​confirm my order and then put my order in. Worked in a restaurant and found this to be an odd practice. Burger was cooked very well done, dried out, and tough. Homemade chips were a nice touch. So many other good burger spots in the area. Wouldn’t recommend after my experience.

Pretty decent offering in the area. Burgers were juicy, fresh but pretty average tasting. Service was good but the music was so loud that I couldn’t even have a conversation with my friend who came out with me.

The food here is average at best, with a limited menu. We were disappointed with our choices. Sorry to say we won’t be back, there are too many other great burger joints in the area. I will say the service was great, as was the entertainment both times we went, however, we found it to be a bit too pricey for what you get. Convenient location.

The reason why am writing in a two-​star it was a nice place the staff was nice very accommodating Pleasant… I had the veggie burger witch was absolutely delicious… Now on the other hand the owner /​manager sheblonde sitting up at the bar with Champagne or wine with a really bad body attitude constantly pulling the stuff aside to Degrate them we’re all watching this… made it very uncomfortable not only with us but the staff as well ! Anyone who treats there employee like there less than them should not be in business! I will not be returning!

OK first off wish I could give it 3 and half stars since it is better than just 3. Now the burgers are pretty good and tasty there is no doubt about that. The homemade chips as others have said are fantastic! Plenty of seating and have a fireplace and plenty of tvs. The bar is a little to big I feel and must walk around the other side to use the bathroom. Which feels and is kind weird because it’s where the kitchen and servicing area is. Atmosphere on this night was OK but was also early in the night. Service could have been a little faster I thought for not being busy but was OK. Overall it was good and won this food critic back for a second go of it.

We went in for drinks and were going to order but didn’t like the drinks so decided not to order. Atmosphere was cold and stale. The bar was awkwardly large and took up too much space. Didn’t care for the service either.

I’m not a fan of the Burger Bar. First off, the bar takes up way too much space and has a cold feel. The room itself is not attractive.
The food which should wow the patron, especially for a new restaurant, fails. The onion rings had too much lousy, greasy batter, inferior portions and we’re just thrown on the plate. (At least make food LOOK good)
The fries that my date ordered, an up charge to the terrible potato chips, were in my opinion not worthy of serving.
The burgers were marginal at best. The onion and mushrooms that were topped on one burger is what usually gets thrown away when preparing.
The service or lack of was terrible especially for a Saturday at peak time. Not surprised that there were only a handful of people there.
Overall Burger Bar, it’s way too late to work the bugs out! I wouldn’t recommend this place if I had to.

The first three times I attempted to order a burger they had some wild excuse as to why I couldn’t get one and then when I finally did, it was a garbage patty. They don’t even give you fries, just homemade greasy ‘chips’. Food took forever and there was a bunch of employees just standing around doing nothing.

This is probably my favorite burger bar. Their nachos are great, their burgers are better. They have a large drink selection along with alcoholic beverages.

Our overall impression was a good impression. The bar had a great setup and appeared to be very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the alcohol selection did not disappoint. The place did lack atmosphere, as it was pretty empty on a Saturday night. The food was decent and we would go back to try other things. On a personal note, I wish they would change the name of the «bucket burger» to the «Pawtucket Burger» as that name is less derogatory.

This is our second time here, food was very good. This time when I changed from fries to onion rings I got six instead of four for the up charge price. Looking at the menu is wanted the giant hot dog, and my server said it was discontinued so I ended up with a good old fashion hamburger. Will come again.

Overall pretty good. The wings were average but the burgers were great. Hubs got the Bucket Burger that he LOVED. I got the one with BBQ and onions and although the there were entirely too many onions it was still very good. Burgers come with homemade chips that were very good. Also got a milkshake and that was tasty. Solid place for burgers, very clean, and friendly waitstaff.

Obviously im all for a correct burger. Aa long as it’s coming correct. Got this a1 Swiss cheese onion ring fried to perfection juicy rare cooked just how I asked burger. Holy hell juicy.
The chips are baller as hell to. Seriously real potato chips for the win. Excellent.
I got the Cobb salad. Knife skills at a burger place?!? YES FRIGGN PLEASE! GREAT GREAT SALAD! I literally have no complaints and told the cooks who were working. Great execution boys. Friggn great. Ill be back soon.

I really, really wanted to like this place! I just couldn’t. Zero atmosphere. Employees were ok, but a few that were just way too strange. And by strange I mean they should not work with the public.
The Food: my burger was under cooked. The fries were under cooked. Beer wasn’t cold enough and the soda water was flat.
Bottom Line: Unless someone I know has an amazing experience, I won’t be back.

This was good. The chicken wings we ordered were served hot and cooked completely. The sauce that came with it was good. We both had burgers. Mine was cheddar with mushroom and that was excellent. The fries were good although not my typical style. Cooked correctly though. My fiancé had the BBQ burger. She liked it. Came with hand made chips. I tried one and liked it. I will be back here again.
