Great variety of beers with good food. Casual environment and a nice place to go and chill out for awhile. I’m on the Beer Club and have hit the first mile stone and working towards the second one. I do find that not all beers I order seem to make it onto the list so I haven’t received credit for all of them. Friendly servers who are more than happy to bring a sample of a beer if you are unsure about it(doesn’t apply to high alcohol beers but that is understandable).

Just moved to the neighborhood. The first time I ventured to this bar with friends there was a dude at the bar being a total creep, practically breathing on my friends shoulder hitting on her being a total boundary crossing(standing up next to his seat super close to her and all) weirdo. We eventually settled out our tab and left. Thought it was kind of crumby that the bartender didn’t diffuse the situation at all. Im a bartender and would’ve handled the situation differently but hey I’ll give them another shot. The second time I went there i ordered two shots and a beer over a course of 2 hours and I got cut off! I wasn’t being an obnoxious patron because I know what it’s like to deal with that. Screw this bar, incredibly ironic that I got cut off being kind of buzzed at this bar and the creep being over the top to my friend didn’t! Never giving them my money again.

Love Dohertys! We usually go every Sunday after the brunch rush. Their constant changing taps are amazing(the best part) and with their flight offerings, you get to try so many different beers. The food is pretty decent as well. My staples here are the Shepard’s Pie, buffalo wings and burgers. Be careful ordering the nachos on your own as they can feed probably 4 people!(Made that«mistake» once) The ladies at the bar are always awesome too! Highly recommend this place if you’re a craft beer lover like myself.

Great for beer and fish and chips or a burger. Like folks said there is a huge beer selection and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. The food is solid New England pub fare with some interesting twists and a few vegetarian options. They’re great at accommodating a large group and there are lots of TVs if you’re into watching sports.

I love a beer heaven! More selection than one’ll ever get to, thank you Doherty’s! The servers are always lovely and the junk on the walls is worth looking at(I always find something I would steel if I were a klepto, but I’m not). The music is great in my opinion, and not expletive-you-in-the-face loud. The food is always scrumptious and spot hitting like comfort food should. It’s pricier than other bar competition, but if you focus on the quality, Doherty’s is the joint.

Doherty’s big selling point, in my opinion, would be there extensive beer list. I have yet to find a place like it anywhere in RI or southern MA. The flights are the way to go if you are looking to dabble a little bit. The food is somewhat surprisingly really delicious. As a vegetarian, there are a ton of options, most of which are pretty amazing. The service is really, really wonderful. The staff make the place really great! Simply put, a great place with great food, great drinks, and great prices!

Come here to drink beer — so much good beer — on tap, in bottles, by flights. Menu is updated regularly and organized by type and first chance /last chance as a kegs run out. There is something here for everyone. And it’s a favorite of Gamm Theatre actors, too! Just in case you didn’t get it the first time — this is one of the best places in the region for beer. Warm setting, extensive menu, rare finds, and for the most part, the staff is as passionate about beer as the patrons. Always someone cool to meet at the bar, plenty of table/booth options to accommodate a group of any size, and a back room to rent for larger private parties. Parking can be a pain. Service varies in awesomeness. Food menu is totally solid(love the wings!) but is pub food at the end of the day. Beer! So much delicious craft beer!

I would rather have McDonalds all day breakfast! At least it comes out warm! So disappointed in brunch! 1st the service is awful, the waitress keeps chuckling every time she comes to table. There is nothing funny about our food coming out cold! It must have been sitting in the kitchen window for the past hour! The 32oz mimosa’s are just OJ with a splash of champagne. After sending the food back it still came back cold! The kitchen needs to get it together! I wouldn’t recommend come here. Be the way our whole Doherty’s experience has taken over 2hrs! Glad I had nothing else to do today. It’s only my boyfriends birthday and we would like to get on with the rest of the day, but we are still sitting here!

Ah Dohertys the craft beer Mecca. I tend to go to the one in Warwick mostly because parking is easier and it’s not as busy. I hate waiting for dinner since I turn beastly when I’m hungry. However I called and they were able to make a reservation for us which was awesome. In this location You feel like your in an old fashioned charming pub. We sat on the patio which was nice with the cool air coming through. Our server was nancy but the other two servers they were working out there came over and said hello and were very friendly. Nancy was awesome. She is a gem for sure. Great service and very accommodating. We mainly go there for the beer. If it’s hot in the craft beer community they have it. The bartenders are very knowledgable and you can ask them For a recommendation. I went with a rack of beers that they offer in a set of four or six. I was happy to find four I have never had before. Besides the beers the food is nothing short of amazing. This is pub food at its best. We had buffalo fries. Crispy and full Of flavor. Sweet potato tots that burst sweetness into your mouth. Pretzels with spicy beer cheese. Oh my. Three of us had a pulled pork quesidilla. That should speak to how good it was. It was huge and full of flavors. I love Dohertys and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for good service great food and an exceptional craft beer menu. Oh and if you go take me with you !

Pros: –Food was delicious! I had the«Kate the Great» — Eggs Benedict with spinach and tomatoes. Eggs were cooked very well and the english muffin made for a great combination. Home fries were a bit more than mediocre, but nothing to call home about. -$ 6 Dollar Mimosas. And they don’t give you a cup… they give you a pitcher! For $ 6! What a bargain –Portion sizes are HUGE! Big enough for 2 – 3 meals. Cons: –Service was slow. Our waitress apologized to us several times, but they were definitely understaffed –The place was kind of falling apart. There were multiple spots where water was dripping from the air conditioning vent. They had little buckets to catch it, but once the buckets filled, they were replaced with a cloth. Not the most sanitary. –They forget and then RANOUTOF the complimentary cinnamon buns. I contacted the manager, but they have yet to get back to me. To be fair, we went during the Father’s Day brunch, so the restaurant was busier than normal, but here were my observations. Overall, not the greatest experience. 3⁄5 stars.

Great beer bar with great food and great service. Like Track 84, this beer bar actually does it right. Huge draft selections with super clean draft lines and beers that move quickly and are never stale. And like Track 84 they offer a sampler! So few craft beer bars in RI do this. It is such a great way to try a variety of beers and find one you like. The food is great and they even have good vegetarian options. Prices are good and the service is always fantastic.

I sure do love Doherty’s brunch. I like to start off my weekend mornings with an adult beverage. I always opt for the 32oz Bloody Mary, extra spicy. The mimosa is also delicious but my body does not enjoy all that orange juice so early in the morning. A recent favorite was the lil’ donkey burrito. The jalapeños really add a kick to the cheesy-eggy goodness. We also enjoyed the Mr. Potato Head, although it was a little too heavy on the cheese for such an early morning meal. The french toast was traditionally done and delicious. Next time I’ll be sure to try their one of their benedicts, they always look delicious.

Food was pretty good not as big of a selection as the Warwick location. And beer club members beware… the beer club for Warwick does not work in Pawtucket, & vice versa. My opinion, stick to Warwick. Better food & beer selection.

If you like food and beer come here!!! Hands down one of my favorite spots to hang with friends. They have an evolving menu of 85 beers, a majority of them on tap and offer flights for your tasting pleasure. The staff are usually very knowledgable about the beers and have always been able to help me with my selection. Besides the beer, I love beer, they offer a wide range menu that you really can’t go wrong with. The app list is never ending, they have hearty pub food entrees. However The menu is very sandwich friendly and you can have almost anyone with burger, chicken, tofu or their delicious home made white bean tempeh(seriously awesome!). It’s large inside and good for groups since they built a 4 season porch on the back. Parking is the biggest downfall for this place. The lot in back is small but I have always been able to park in one of the lots adjacent. Dohertys east ave is really close to providence and sometimes it’s real nice to get that hometown feel it offers.

Wanna get crafty? Come here. Want some free cornbread? Come here. Want a place that has off street parking, convenient rear entrance and is right near the interstate? Come here. Ok, what about this one??? Want a place where your smug, difficult to please, know-it-all pal actually enjoys, is also little kid friendly and has a bangin’ brunch — which includes specifically vegan selections?! You’re darn skippy you’ll find all that at East Ave.

yum yum yum! I am originally from North Jersey so I am used to plenty of options for boozy brunches. Unfortunately for me, RI and MA don’t have many options. With that said, THANKYOU Doherty’s! My friend and I each got the $ 632oz drink — the bloody mary was stronger than the mimosa but we still enjoyed it :) I got the trinity eggs benny and yum! He got the eggs benny with the turkey sausage I believe and pomodoro sauce, I am unsure what it was called but that was definitely the winner! We took home the left overs and had it later. Can’t wait to go back.

Doherty’s is a great local pub and go in expecting that South Boston pub feel but in Pawtucket. Excellent place to go for the latest beers, all on tap! Insane amount of tap beers and everything for every beer taste(even some of their own mixed beer recipes) Sandwiches are all very good from the Black and Bleu to The Breakfast. Here is where I would love Doherty’s to mix it up a bit. Down the street in Providence, Ivy Tavern has a similar offering(sandwiches and beer in a irish tavern) and finds a way to change up the standard sandwich and make it quality. However, you are coming to Doherty’s for the beer not the food, trust me. I would just like them to play around a bit with the menu.

I gave this place 5 stars because it is my favorite place to go anytime. We are here very often for several reasons which I will list below. I realize I tend to give anything I like a 5 but really anything in the middle is unclear, will you like it or won’t you? Food I’m pretty picky when it comes to food so when my boyfriend first brought me here I was skeptical. Once I saw they have vegetarian options I soon came to realize that they were as much focused on food as they were on beer. The White Bean Tempe Sausage is amazing! Tasty and spicy with the asparagus, it’s always a standard for me. The blackened chicken salad is a fav among the friends, especially those on diets, and we usually go on Mondays for wings. My bf says Thermo is less spicy than Buffalo, so consider that when you order your sauces. I like Buffalo, it’s traditional and perfectly spicy. Just don’t order the bacon. It’s not normal, I’m not sure why though. Beer There are so many beers on tap or in bottles. It’s easy to get overwhelmed or indecisive. I like to look at my beer list and what is also running out. I’m about 1⁄3 of the way through my beer club list. The waitresses will help you but so help you if you order a bud light or high life here. Staff HANDSDOWN — Mel G. and Kass L. are the best servers here. Yes everyone is nice but they are the best. They are friendly, remember everything, stay on top of your beer order, and just make the visit worth it. I love them! Atmosphere It’s a quintessential Irish pub looking place with dark wood and they barely decorate for holidays. There are beer signs and ads everywhere, enough TVs to watch any sport. Sunday and Thursday(?) are Trivia nights. Don’t be late. I think it starts at 7:30pm. Everything else The parking is weird and although we’ve always found a spot, just be ready. They also have made many improvements to the outdoor deck which is sort of indoors now. It gives them more room for people and tables. It’s nice out there on summer nights. I love Doh’s and will continue to go there. If you suck, I don’t want you coming here.
