Best neighborhood place! The staff is amazing and the food is always good. Can’t go wrong coming here and beers are always changing on tap.

I visited the Sullivan Public House 10 degrees outside but it was warm and cosy inside. I had the Rubin with onion rings and a Irish Red ale everything was great. The service was friendly. They have activities like trivia and other things during the week.

Really great food, burgers were on point, everything came out nice and hot! Great bear choices as well. Only thing, sitting at a table took a little bit for service, but I feel like they may have been under staffed. Will def recommend!

Absolutely love coming here when in this part of the state wanting a great burger. Just as their other places and like the Shannon view Inn. It’s small and cozy inside with the same type of menu and atmosphere. It’s another home run when you come here and can never go wrong. Food is good as always and a joy to devour. It’s clean and service is fast and friendly. Stop in next time in the area of slater Park. You will love it or next drink is on me.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. If you go to Sullivan’s more than once, they know your name and what you drink. It’s no wonder that there are so many regulars. The service is phenomenal. Even when it is standing room only, I have never asked for a drink. The menu is made up of pub grub staples & comfort food. They also have specials, that change periodically. The food is excellent. They have an extensive list of beers on tap. My only complaint is that they don’t have Guinness products. The bartenders are knowledgeable and put an excellent mixed drink

So I have visited this establishment several times since my first review and I’m sad to say that I had to drop a star. I have only gone for brunch. I have gone on both Saturday and Sunday, and the brunch on Saturday is far superior to what you’ll be served on Sunday. Same menu but they must have different chefs with different recipes because it’s just that different. Please stay consistent.

As I’m still getting my bearings on a completely new to me ‘hood I have been looking fora spot to get tasty sandwiches and brews, and as many know, the joints owned by the Tapped Group usually hit this on the nose perfectly. Sullivan’s is no exception. Went in around 7 on a saturday, had a beer with my best friend and decided to grab a sandwich as well. The menu isn’t as big as that at Doherty’s and they focus more on a handful of awesome looking burgers, a few standard sandwiches and some treats you might not see around here like curry fries. I got the To Brie or Not to Brie, which was apples, onions and brie on wheatberry bread with a side of fries, but please note they do have the all important sweet potato tots at this location. The sandwich was plenty of food even though it seems to be a slightly amped up grilled cheese. I did love the fact that everyone here seemed to know each other, and that the entire crowd was singing along to songs that the bartenders were playing on the jukebox.

Cool rustic looking joint — booths aren’t super comfy as they’re made out of wood with no cushioning. Plenty of TVs for those sports fanatics. Got in a little before 6 for dinner with some coworkers. Parking was a bit tough, only a few spots in the front — beware, the front lot has 4 spots only and has a curb so if you’re not driving a truck — eek! Had to park a block down on the street. I ordered a sangria — I’ve have better elsewhere but it wasn’t bad and the Mighty Flynn Burger but as a turkey burger(sautéed onions, even though the menu said carmelized, mushrooms, chili and bacon) with a side of buffalo fries. The burger was good but the patty didn’t stay together very well so had to eat it with a fork and knife. Fries, more like potato slices — no complaints — were yummy, nice and crisp with a hint of heat!!! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Service was great — super friendly and attentive. The place started to fill up while we were there so the room did get a bit loud but overall great experience and can’t wait to go back!

Gave Sullivan’s another try with a party of 4 on a Friday night.(After dinner rush) Everyone decided on burgers — we all choose a different side so we could try a few at a time. The good — the regular fries were really good this time — no weird coating. The sweet potato tots were yummy. The buffalo fries… were more like chips and were just ok. I didn’t actually try the Onion rings because I was too full but my friends polished all but 2 of them off. All in all it was good bar food. The bad — they had 2 or 3 people rotating through the dining room waiting on everyone — we ended up with missing ingredients on 2 out of 4 burgers and I never did get that water… I think it’s a too many hands in the pot situation… luckily they were super apologetic and brought out the missing items pronto… but never that water. The A/C in the booth we originally sat at was not draining properly — instead of draining out into the parking lot — it was dripping onto the table! We moved to another table… not a big deal… but someone should shim /slant that thing next summer! It has a relaxed vibe for a few burgers, beers and friends! I will go again — gonna try something different next time and report back.

I change my review to 5 stars due to the fact that even the new staff walks right over with our beer lists. Always great service, never a complaint on the food, ever. Just joined mug club. By far our favorite spot. Great beers, consistent food and service. Doesn’t get better than that.

The food is so good, no matter what you order. The comfort food is awesome and always cooked perfectly. I had to ask about the chef because the food is that good. The chef and cooks clearly take the time to prepare every dish perfectly. And, the service is top notch regardless of how busy the night may be. Service is 10 out of 10. Atmosphere is 9.5 out of 10. Food is 10! out of 10.

More Than I Expected Sullivan’s, not really a Publick House, but not bad. For other Unilocalers information, this is owned by the same owner as Doherty’s. A distinct feature about this place is the bar, it is a very uniquely sculpted shape made of wood and looks very sharp. Pros: Pretty Good Food Friendly Comfortable Servers Nice Atmosphere The Bar Shape Cons: Fake Publick House Horrible Parking Lot in Front Tip: Definitely try the Steak and Cheese Sandwich(drunken onions) Overall: To be honest this place impressed me more than I expected, good atmosphere, friendly service, good food. Not bad at all. Thanks

I love the Tuesday build your own burger deal. You choose your burger style, toppings, sauce, bun, and side. Plus you receive 4 sample flutes of beers from their large Irish, and local selection. All for $ 12! I had a steak burger with Pepper jack cheese, sautéed onions, Jalapeño bacon, wicked pickles(spicy fried pickles) lettuce, tomato, and sweet potato tots, on a pretzel bun.

I stopped in here for breakfast last Sunday, and I have to admit, I had never been to a bar for breakfast before, so I was a little skeptical. We ordered a round of mimosas which came in awesome looking mini-pitchers. They were tasty but I was surprised that they were filled with ice. I had never had a mimosa with ice in it before and as I feared, it tasted very watered down by the end. For breakfast I ordered a lil donkey which was basically a southwestern breakfast wrap. I can’t remember everything that was in it, but I know it had scrambled eggs, cheese, jalapenos, and it had a kick. It was also a huge wrap, and I struggled to finish just half of it. The second half made a perfect lunch later that day. The only other thing I need to mention is they did not have real maple syrup; they only had the fake stuff. This did not affect my experience at all, but I promised my friend that I would mention it. Overall, I’d love to come back the next time I’m in the area. The atmosphere, food, and service were all great!

Solid hole in the wall spot. Would never think to come here if it wasn’t for Unilocal.Lots of beer on tap and good bar food. And great service. Without even asking, the waitress brought over extra fried pickles for my burger!

This is an Irish Style pub with a large beer selection and great food. I have been here for lunch twice now and the food has been excellent. This is a mushroom cheeseburgr and fries cooked to perfection without missing the small details. Service is very good also. Parking though is a little weak and you should be ready to park on the street.

Sullivan’s is Great little Pub! We went on a Sunday night-quiet crowd-not too busy, but certainly not slow. We started off with Chicken Tenders and Honey Mustard. My guy is pretty thin but is possibly made up entirely of chicken tenders and honey mustard sauce-he’s a chicken tender/nugget connoisseur.(And, yes, it makes me angry that he’s thin on a fried food diet… I just gained a pound typing that!!) But, the chicken tenders are very good here-something special and different about the batter-and the boy is delighted. For dinner I had the Corned Beef Rueben and I am going to go out on a limb and say I think that the Rueben was my favorite ever. I had my sammie with the coleslaw which was not bad, but not spectacular. My date had the Beef Sandwich special with Sweet Potato Tots. Looked pretty much Beef Sandwich Special-y. The Sweet Potato Tots are sinful, perfect and plenty. No skimping on their sides here. A good meal rounded out with good service, a neat atmosphere and a great beer selection. The ONE thing I’d have to say I did not like was the awkward height of the bar. This is probably a stand up bar that they have outfitted with stools that are too short! We were so uncomfortable leaning over our plates that we took our sandwiches to go at the half way mark. Drinking at the bar is great, but leave the eating to a booth or a table. Another note: We did have brunch here a few months ago-IT WASAMAZING! The breakfast plates are huge and the food is so good. Not your typical 2 eggs and toast place. Creative brunch menu and huge portions.
