I went here personally with my boyfriend and we loved the food and the service. The red sauce is a true Italian gravy and very tasty. The ricotta is high quality as well as the cheeses including the palm is John that sits on the table I enjoyed the food so much that I have ordered several business lunches to go from spumoni’s and my clients have all been very happy with my choice. I love to support local private holes in the wall like this restaurant

What a bummer… been going here for years, always getting basically the same thing, which is the combo plate with Lasagna, Chicken Parm and whatever else. Couple glasses of wine along with losing at Keno. Went tonight… Ugh. I hope it was a bad night, but I don’t really know. The food: Smaller portions and it just wasn’t all that good. Very disappointing. The meatballs were the same, but even they shrunk. The Wine: I’ve always had the house wine, which is now a cold, crappy wine soda from a spigot. Must be a different year or the lines weren’t clean or maybe the wine was just horribly bad. The prices: What the heck happened!!! It used to be a good meal at a reasonable price… Not any more! Wow. Sticker shock after a bad meal. The bartender was great. Friendly, always there to get you what you needed. So, there are your 2 stars. I lost at Keno, I always lose at Keno. I’d like to blame Spumoni’s, but it probably wasn’t there fault. Long story short. It will be long time before I go back. Again, what a bummer…

Service was terrible. In every aspect of our dining experience. Food was ok, but was very preprepared and came from a can. Id feel better about it if i had just ordered takeout from there. Would never return or recommend. We complained to the manager after waiting several minutes and requests to leave her phone call. She was apologetic but didnt offer more. Should have went to olive garden down the street.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars. The service is friendly, prompt and attentive. The restaurant is busy busy but the service is always spot on. The food is amazing. Everything we have tried is always better than the last. Picking your meal is the mossy difficult decision you will make. The plates are plentiful and the prices very reasonable.

Not impressed. Highly priced with not so great portions. Stay away from Spumoni’s Italian Pu-Pu Platter. It cost me 16 bucks. You know what I got? Like two meatballs, a sausage, small manicotti and ravioli, a tiny piece of veil, and peppers. I got more peppers then meat actually. For 16 dollars, it should have been a lot more. It was barely a mouth full. I could have literally dumped that on top of spaghetti, then it would have been a meal. I will admit their desserts are quite good but no one goes to a restaurant just for the desserts. I won’t return. Try Uncle Tony’s or Morin’s instead. They are better and offer more for your money.

Well, here I am back again. I used to love this place. But im updating my review. When we sat down the waiter clearly wasnt prepared to serve customers. First thing, his whole attitude changed when he saw we were using coupons. Dont know what that was about. There were little things he was doing. Like repeating the wrong drink sizes, not knowing who’s drink was whos, not bringing all the food out at the same time. Appearing miserable. Now keep in mind i understand people have bad nights After we ate and were sitting there for a while I noticed he forgot an item I ordered. Later after we got the bill I asked about it and said that he forgot it. Then he lied and said he didnt hear me. I saw him write it down when I told him. Ok, so what really makes me give one star is that at one point he came to our table and without asking reached over our table to our salad that had already been served to us 15 minutes ago and took one of our salad dressing containers that was sitting in the salad bowl on top of the salad leafs and then put it on a tray with some others that was near the register. How rude. And I wonder what he planned on using those for? To put on top of another customers salad? Gross! If they are doing that on a regular basis to save money I can only imagine what kind of germs are being spread. That is why im giving one star. Not going back.

Upon entering I noticed that this place needs some cosmetic updates. The door definitely needs a fresh coat of paint. The hostess was chipper and seated us immediately. Our waitress was in training so another one accompanied her. The menu is pretty big so I was overwhelmed with choices. Based on previous reviews(and husbands recommendation) I opted for escarole soup and chicken parmesan. My 7 year old son — a hoodsie. He ate a bowl of cereal before coming(you learn to choose your battles). The soup was hot and delicious. It reminded me of my late Nonnie’s. The chicken parm was equally tasty. Tons of ooey gooey cheese, slightly toasty, perfect sauce ratio. Charlie’s hoodsie was a no show so we reminded. Drinks were promptly refilled without requesting, big plus. I was a happy camper until… Fast forward 20 minutes later when I nearly knocked down an elderly woman to get to my car. My body was rejecting it. Definitely TMI but the longest ride home and a photo finish to the bathroom. The tasty dish had betrayed me. My husband was completely fine(same dish). I ate the leftovers for lunch next day(portions are gluttonous) and suffered the same consequences. So one less star for the gastrointestinal upset. Would I do it again? Probably. It was that good.

Great food, but worst service in awhile. Waited for 15minutes for waiter to come back and he never brought our drinks.

Been here a few times. and overall food has been good. Family atmosphere for those who are looking for that. Portions are large and price is pretty good. I got the tour of Italy and it was great. And pretty good beer on tap also!

We love Spumonis! We gave been going here for years and even had our rehearsal dinner here. I absolutely love the Chicken Escarole soup with fresh bread and butter. They have Coke products now which is a huge plus. The food is great and they give you a huge portion. They now offer fresh desserts and the Crème Brulee is fantastic!

We have visited this establishment several times since they opened for business several years ago. There is a good size parking lot available in a very busy area of Pawtucket. When you enter the building, the host or hostess seats you. On our last visit, the host told us they had a buffet lunch. The waitress took our drink order and gave us details of what the buffet included. For a very reasonable price the buffet included green beans, potatoes, ziti, eggplant, chicken masala, lasagna, sausage, baked fish and a few other dishes. Set up in a typical buffet style, the food was all good. I particularly enjoyed the baked fish. Several years ago I held a small, private function up stairs. I made arrangements in advance with a planner on staff who was available to us the day of the event. It was all very nicely done for a reasonable rate. I haven’t asked if they still do this, but if you try the restaurant and like it, you could ask if they still offer private event. Because we moved away from the area, we mostly visit during lunch when ‘meeting friends half way’. In our experiences, the food has been good, the wait staff polite and friendly. If you are in the area, and want a quick lunch for a good price, I can recommend their buffet. Call ahead to be sure they are offering it the day you plan to visit!

I grew up going to Spumoni’s and always looked forward to going there. The food was always consistent, the service great and the atmosphere was spectacular. The soft Italian bread, chicken parm, ravioli, pasta and meat sauce as well as so many other dishes were a staple and I always looked forwars to that classic Spumoni’s style… A few years ago my then fiancé and I took my parents for dinner because like I said before I always enjoyed and looked forward to walking in. The place was as usual pretty busy and the wait was acceptable considering the value, quality and taste. About half way through our meal a family was sat at the table beside us, that was the beginning of the end of that experience for us. The daughter of this family was clearly a lesbian and her mouth was perverse but then many of the restaurant servers joined in each time they walked by. Needless to say I was fuming, on the way out I pulled the manager aside and explained to her that it would be a long time before I would set foot in the place again because of the disgusting behavior of their employees. Fast forward a few years we went back and thankfully I did not recognize a single server in the place. The food was just as I remembered and I was glad because I once again began to look forward to my visits. The last couple times we ate here though I almost could not finish my meal because the food has changed and I must say certainly not for the better. The sauce is gross and it absolutely ruins the food, I miss the Spumoni’s taste and experience. I miss the atmosphere and most of all I miss the classic Italian experience they had to offer. We will probably never go back again, it is sad when good restaurants change drastically and try to mimic other places when they were already great. Typically this is the demise of establishments and I really hope this is not the case for Spumoni’s and I hope one day we can once again look forward to our visits there.

Definitely a family restaurant. Usually the place is pretty active but the service is good for how busy they get. My wife loves the chicken parm, it’s certainly her go-to dish, and I usually get the shrimp dishes either way the food is delicious. This place is a good stop.

I’ve never had bad food here and I’ve ate here A LOT! I loved the salad that comes with raspberry dressing and salmon! I got that EVERY time I went here but realized I needed to switch it up after I ate THAT whole salad and half of my fiancés plate! The eggplant parm sandwich is amazing! That’s what I had tonight and wowza! I want more! I wish they put a little more eggplant in it though on a serious note. I loved that we just moved down the street from here as well. Very good place!

Came here tonight as a party of 5. everyone had ordered winderful items. i hadvthe veal parm with penne pasta… cooked perfectly. and it is NOT frozen veal. My friend had thevitalian pupu platter… wow. an amazing array of italian favorites! The gentlemen we had as a server was great. and very attentive! We originally ordered Bacardi and cokes but unfortunately they ran out of bacardi? A bit unusual? But went with the pumpkin beer! Defiantly will recommend this to family and friends! Yes that means you my Unilocaling readers!

Driven by this restaurant for many years, decades even! Finally stopped in… Service was quick, friendly and comforting! The food seemed a little too rushed for my liking? I feel it was a bit undercooked, and in particular to my seafood dish, way too overstuffed with cracker stuffing! Kind of killed the meal… I would definitely go back again, and maybe have a better experience, «meal wise» next time!!! Stay tuned…

I *STILL* love Spumoni’s. They have never let me down. Delicious everything. I keep telling myself one of these day’s I won’t fill up on dinner and save room for their homemade desserts! Chicken parm. Ravioli’s. and Manicotti’s are my favorites. I even had a chicken dinner that had mozzarella and tomato on it, and it was fantastic!

Went to Spumoni’s tonight with my boyfriend for dinner for the first time. It took a while to be greeted and service was a little strange. Our server was super casual and seemed to either be new to serving or just very nonchalant. He did keep our drinks filled and quickly cleared empty dishes so no real complaints. My boyfriend ordered the pupu platter with a Cesar salad and penne pasta. I ordered the 3 course with chicken parm, stuffed mushrooms and a garden salad. Everything came in huge portions! It was enough food for at least 4 people. I didn’t like the mushrooms, they had no crab flavor whatsoever. The rest of our food was excellent, though! The sauce was full of flavor, the chicken and meatballs were moist and the pasta was a perfect al dente. I will say the bread was cooler than room temperature and lacked any flavor. It would have been nice if it was warm and more flavorful. It’s free bread though so it’s no big concern. The best thing about the meal was the price! My whole meal was only 14.99 which included my drink, salad, app and entrée. You really can’t beat that especially due to the quality and portion sizes. We will most certainly be returning and recommending!

My family & I come here a few times a year. Food is pretty good, but nothing show-stopping. The one thing I really love from here are the steamers… they are awesome. The seafood pasta in red sauce is pretty yummy too… but HUGE! Right now, kids eat free on Mondays… very appealing to this mom of 3 Also, join their email club for coupons. Every now & then, a really good one comes along. They also have s frequent diner program. You pay for it, but it pays for itself, plus some, if you go there often enough.

When searching for a beautiful Easter Brunch you wont go wrong with Spumonis( ) in Pawtucket RI. Many people have visited Spumonis for dinner or their lunch buffet but nothing compares to their Easter brunch. I have attending this Easter Brunch for the last 4 years. Every year is just at good as the year previous. I must warn you, making reservations here for Easter brunch is a NIGHTMARE!!! Ugh, luckily I love this brunch as much as I do because otherwise the lack of accommodation and the rudeness of the management taking these reservations would totally turn me off! I called the beginning of March to make our Easter reservations after 15 minutes of being on hold and being passed from employee to employee and then passed to management I was told they would not take my reservation for 4 people– I must have at least 5 people in my party. I called a week later and made a reservation for 5 people(even though we knew we would not have that many people.) Once we made the reservation the restaurant called 3 – 4 times to confirm our reservation, one of which was on Easter morning while we were sitting in Church. This would totally make sense if they were booked solid and packed on Easter morning, however in the last 4 years that I have been there it has never been this busy to excuse their lack of accommodation and nagging phone calls reconfirming the reservation 3 – 4 times! Now onto the beautiful, delicious Easter Brunch! The food was fabulous, and had a wonderful variety. From breakfast items, eggs, french toast, bacon, and sausage to Italian specialties chicken marsala, chicken parm, meatballs, and a variety of seafood dishes, as well as a carving station with ham and roast beef! All the food was nicely organized and kept at the perfect serving temperature — which is not always the case with buffets.
