Had my daughter’s Baby Sprinkle in the party room on the second floor. The room was beautiful, food was excellent and service was superb. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the the party room is on the second floor and not handicapped accessible. The stairs are steep and winding but I knew that before I booked it so it was not a surprise to me. None of our guests had special needs so it worked for our group. Everyone said they loved it.

This gem sits in the Darlington area and is underrated. They have a large menu and so far, what I have tried, I have enjoyed. I wish they’d bring back the poutine aka Canadian fries, however they will make them as a special request. I’d like to also thank Tim for excellent service. He was great.

Had a VERY delicious steak, cooked just right, and hot! Mashed potatoes seemed homemade and were awesome. Took away the extra star for lack of dessert choices and water seems to be metallic tasting. Can’t wait to go back and try the lobster roll I saw at the table next to me!

Not bad good service, food was ok but I’m from RI I have higher expectations of seafood than most ppl. Probably would not make a trip back but was good

I have been to this place many times over the years under different names. This current establishment isn’t bad. The wings could do with a bit more flavoring. The burger was good. Sadly again in this area the fries were underdone but overcooked. Service was excellent. Its a bit of an odd walk-in, more of a restaurant attached to a bar feel.

This is a great spot for seafood, I recomend the steamers and twin lobsters, place has an older crowd with a friendly atmosphere, I also love the red chowder. The building is an old fire house but is remodeled very nice with outside dining in summer. The staff is friendly and service is good, I would recommend to anyone looking for good seafood.

Abner and I popped in for lunch when we had an errand to run in that area and I had the day off. I got the chicken parmesan sub and Abner got the BLT wrap. Everything was very good. The french fries were so delicious. Loved the old firehouse pictures on the wall. Not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but will definitely return when I do.

Came to this place because we got a coupon. It is in a very cool building! The food was very good and even better was our server! The kitchen closes EARLY, FYI. at 9 p.m. After 9 u can only get apps. We had a nice dinner and a server who was awesome. For those of you that like music I must add that not 1BAD song was played during the 2.5 hours we were there!!! Great music!!! We will be back!

As a Montrealer living in RI, this place has a solid Poutine(even if they don’t have the classic cheese curds). Outstanding gravy! It’s definitely not the chicest place but honestly, the service is prompt, the regulars are friendly and the menu is what you expect from your typical New England pub, and that it actually tastes great and it’s very affordable. But again, their poutine…(Homer Simpson drool sounds)

The wait staff are professional and prompt. They have a wide variety of meals at affordable prices, and the people watching at the bar is phenomenal.

Mediocre food and beer selection. I wanted to love this place and I feel like the menu desperately needs a makeover.

A great place to eat but you need more waitresses. You make people wait to long

To bad my last visit was last night 11÷20÷14 We had been going two to three a month for some time. Everything was always pretty good and we enjoyed going there during the week. It seems they are doing all kinds of promotions(groupons, buy one get one free etc.) which is fine but it seems they are not ready for it. We showed up and after 15 minutes the hostess finally showed up and brought us to a table. She threw a basket of bread in the middle of the table without saying anything and left. Sad to say but we sat there for 25 minutes without anyone even coming to our table. We finally decided to leave and when I told the hostess the reason she said she could see if anyone was available to help us. With all the great places to eat in R.I. you should never have to look to see if someone is available to wait on you. It’s to bad because we did go here often but after one bad experience we will try else where.

Went here for a late dinner before a movie. The service was very slow. Took almost 40 minutes for our entrees to come out. We did have an appetizer but there was too much time between when we finished and when we got the entrees. Then they made my girlfriends food wrong and had to remake it which took another 7 – 10 minutes. The food was pretty good. We ended up taking it home since we were in a rush for dinner. I would give them another try. Everyone has an off night once in a while.

I’ve lived in pawtucket for almost 8 Years. I’ve always driven past this place but never went in, until Saturday. My husband and I got gift certificates and we decided to go here. We went around 5 as we both were hungry, so let me say it wasn’t busy at all but this is early bird seating. Seated right away and server came right over to get us our drinks. We ordered the calamari Ala mama. Let me say I’m always against my calamari being mixed with anything I like the crunch of the calamari, so with that being said I wasn’t big on it. Sloppy and greasy. I ordered the prime rib… OMG! Delightful! My mouth waters thinking about it, nothing else about my meal was good. The mashed potatoes were lumpy but like boxed lumpy not real mashed at all. My husband had some scallops, clam bellies and shrimp., he didn’t like his meal at all. He said it was greasy. I mean it’s not like we’ll never go again but I doubt it will be soon The service was good. Steak is amazing, if I go again it will be for the chicken parmigiano, I hear it’s amazing but again that’s if I go again. It’s probably a great spot for football and beer, I can see that. I also noticed that they had 25 cent wings. I bet that draws a crowd.

If you have ever been to Governor Francis Inn in Warwick this is what replaced that for me when I moved to Pawtucket. The menu and pricing is very similar mainly Italian and seafood dishes all at a reasonable price. As far as service 9 times out of 10 it has been fantastic. One time it was horrible, the waitress ignored us, we waited forever to order drinks to the point where we just went up to the bar. Although I have to hand it to her she came out with a huge piece of cake and just said that she was sorry she was so horrible. That is something I can really respect. I don’t expect perfection but when you really mess up cake really does make it better. They have seafood specials all the time which are always delicious. Although, they only ever have red chowder. I’d like to see white but hey, can’t have it all. All the meals come with either a soup or salad. Salad is like many places, huge chunks of lettuce, three pieces onion and one tomato. That’s why I more often opt for soup. The do a brunch on Sunday which my SO really likes and I could go either way on. It’s not bad, they do have a guy making omelettes which is nice. One thing I still can’t figure out is why no toast or bagels or anything? If I have an omelette I like to schlep it over a piece of wheat toast and unfortunately I can’t do. Often times they have coupons and if you sign up for mailing list they send you two for one deals or 10% off your meal making an already great deal even better. Gets pretty crowded especially on Wednesday for Trivia night.

Great food, ridiculous portions. Frequent restaurant. com coupons make the prices ridiculously low. Go early for Sunday Brunch., it’s worth waking up for.

I’d visited the Hose Company about a year ago and had a dinner special. It was a salad appetizer, entrée, and sides. This time around, I feel the menu was a bit different. My friend and I opted to partake in their half off apps(at the bar) over dining in the back. I admit I was impressed at their large selection of half off apps!(Maybe only to be rivaled by McCormick & Shcmick’s discounted app menu). They offered items like stuffies, pizza, and combo platters –of onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and the like. We ordered a bunch, and turned out to be far to much food. The portions were big. The quality of the food was suffering though. The BBQ pizza seemed to be topped with Frank’s Red Hot, and the chicken was«eh». The Greek pizza was a bit better and the fried apps weren’t bad but nothing to write home about. They’ve got a full bar. I ordered the 24oz house margarita. I’m a small person, so I like to pace my drinking, but I did wish there were more booze in my drink. I like to feel a little toasty after my first drink to get the ball rolling. I ended up following it up with a beer. The Bartender and waitress were very personable. They engaged in small conversation and we had a few laughs. I give Hose Co. four stars for their décor/shtick and for their incredibly(and awesomely, I might add) reasonable/low prices. Just to give you an idea, PBR on tap was something like $ 1.79. They’ve got TV’s if you feel inclined to watch some sports. I recommend this restaurant if you don’t have a ton of expectations and/or are on a budget! :D

What a super cool and friendly place — how did I not ty this place out before? We sat at the bar to watch the Red Sox game one random afternoon and got a pretty nice surprise with this place. Even better surprise with their happy hour specials. First of all, sit at the bar. They’ll load you up on good conversation and bowls of popcorn as long as you can eat it. Next… they do grilled pizzas. I really wanted onions and peppers on mine. Now your usual joint would throw green peppers and red or yellow onions on there and call it a day. Hose Company, however, gave me roasted red peppers and grilled onions. SOGOOD. It’s that kind of attention to detail that will bring me back. Finally, we got the buffalo nachos. If you like buffalo nachos, then you’ll really like these cause they’re loaded. I like buffalo wings, but found myself not really liking the buffalo /nacho combo. Boyfriend devoured them though. In any case, we’ll definitely be back. They do promo events every once in a while with the different beer companies, so definitely check them out.
