I love this place. It’s home town Pawtucket loving food. Service is always good, very relaxed but family atmosphere. I love their nachos and wings. Great bar food.

Amazing food, the roast beef sandwich was amazing it came with a dipping sauce which only made it better, baked haddock was good but the fries and mashed potatoes that came with it were excellent, it’s a nice family style place that’s worth a visit.

I really like this place it’s been in my neighborhood since I was little and yet I never went here to eat. I always assumed it was one of those places that old people went too and got pasta and fish on Sundays and that’s it. A few weeks ago my wife and I just randomly drove by and decided what the hell let’s eat here and we did and we have gone back a few times in the past few weeks. So far everything that we have had has been amazing and really big portions and the prices are shockingly lower than I have imagined. Drinks, apps, huge dinners, awesome soups and a dessert tray that makes everyone’s mouth water as it comes by I really will recommend that you try everything and also the menu is huge so be prepared to have a lot of decisions across the table.

Took my daughter and son out for dinner. The place was not extremely busy. The hostess sat us and after 25 minutes no one ever came to help us. They also did not help those seated near us. I would give no stars if I could… we walked out.

I’m giving this 4 stars because if you order anything other than the beef it’s not very good. I’d recommend the French dip deluxe sandwich. The roast beef is always cooked perfectly, the onion rings however are terrible. This place is great for take out too, when you want Something other than pizza or Chinese.

Had dinner here last night 11⁄19. Bay scallops(prefer sea) however they do tell you on the menu. Scallops were fried, bland no taste, veggies were frozen, packaged salad mix(iceberg, shredded carrots) did not finish meal… so bad. Would suggest fresh local produce for salad and veggie sides, and season the scallops. Also do NOT zap the baked potatoe. On a good note my husband enjoyed the prime rib but again gross salad and frozen vegetable… buy LOCAL fresh produce! Support local farmers and improve your product at the same time!

I’ve eaten here a few times now, before PawSox games at McCoy Stadium, just down the street. The food’s been good, and the service attentive. Nothing amazed me, or the people I’ve been with, yet; nothing has been awful either.

Been here a few times and it was alright but sometimes the service is slow. Not a big issue really but this last time we ordered soup and out of it comes a CVS receipt! ! Needless to say last time we eat there !

This is a very casual restaurant with a HUGE menu… I think it might be a tad too large, but needless to say everyone in your party should find something to eat. They have a good-sized bar, the dining area is comfortable, service was great on our last visit, and overall it was a nice meal from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy a tasty meal, it’s worth your time to check out The Roast House.

Awesome food! Bartender flirted with my boyfriend the whole time which was pretty annoying but other than that. A little above average food and good sangria’

Good food, lots of choices, and reasonable prices. Great waitstaff that you can tell knows the service industry. They’re friendly and on top of your dining needs. Free refills without having to ask, clean silverware for dessert, prompt timing of offering if you need anything else without pestering you. All sorts of specials throughout the week. Monday nights include soup or salad, beverage, meal and dessert… and the dessert isn’t some bowl of jello or ice cream… its a full size, homemade dessert of your choice. On the lists of this special, the most expensive dish was $ 13.99, but seriously… that’s not expensive for all you get! Fantastic char grilled chicken salad with their house made Italian dressing… excellent!

The Roast House gives small businesses a good name. I like to seek out family owned restaurants and I’m glad I grew up on this one. True comfort food. So many choices. Their fried chicken is so juicy and crispy. The tap water in this area is crap but if that’s the worst complaint I have I’ll take it. Oh oh! The desserts are AWESOME! Cakeeee.

My grandson and I came here on a Saturday night after an extremely cold day in Boston and was looking for a good hot meal. The host seated us and we were met by a very friendly server that took excellent care of us throughout the entire meal. He ordered a burger and I ordered the steak fajitas. He really enjoyed his burger and finished the whole thing, which I think was a ¼ lb burger and came with a side of fries. I had asked for my onions to be cooked until they were blackened, but alas, they were not and that was a real bummer. The fajitas came with all the fixins and they definitely filled me up. Would I come back, definitely! I would try something a bit different next time though, something more like a burger instead.

The Roast House has been on my to do list for years ever since they moved from Newport Ave to Columbus Ave around the corner. Finally made a plan for tonight and what a pleasurable dining experience. I ordered the Montréal Pork Chops. Two 6 oz boneless pork chops marinated in beer, lightly seasoned. Served over grilled onions, sliced potatoes & bacon on a sizzling platter. It was fabulous. The place was buzzing, and for a Friday night, we were seated within 10minutes. Definitely coming here on a regular basis. Highly recommended with an abundance of menu choices.

The place is well decorated. Food is plentiful… Not great in my opinion but definitely not bad. I would go back for lunch.
