To think that i once work here in the past makes me want to gag even more when customers ate the clam stuffing which they serve only at dinner. They basically used the left over food from the buffet table the night before and make them into stuffings and of course the egg rolls. After working for 3 months, i moved to MO but came back again for a short stint. The owner changed hand and it was worse, The new boss lady would spit on the counter trash can and seeing that unproffesional ethic, made me sick. I quit soon after and never been back ever since.

Tin-tin is a solid buffet in Pawtucket. The only chinese buffet in the area that I know of. Not a wide variety of selection, but good tasting. Some customers are not the sharpest tools in the shed. I would recommend going here if you’re into chinese buffets, but beware… Don’t drink their tap water, it is the most disgusting tap water… I’m not picky at all when it comes to tap water, but took one sip and had to avoid!

To begin with, I feel it’s necessary to make note that I am not generally a fan of buffet type restaurants. There’s something slightly nauseating about dozens of screaming kids picking their noses and grabbing onto the counters where the food I am about to partake of is located. But every so often I get the urge to gorge my face on the cheap. which in the end isn’t even worth it when all I can stomach is one small dish. Regardless, it’s impossible to escape the inevitable tinge to walk into a Chinese buffet. That said, Tin Tin certainly isn’t the worst. Due to its convenient location I’ve been stopping in since they originally opened years ago and really, the food quality can vary on a day to day basis. At times everything is fresh and yummy while others, stringy and a little gross. When the food is fresh, everything is crispy, typical and delicious otherwise it’s less than appealing but never enough to have made me sick. The same can be said for the customer service: at times all smiles, others, tired and uninterested. It’s 100% a toss up. Charlie and I used to hit this place up Wednesday nights and it was always plenty busy even late on a weekday evening. In all seriousness, if you actually attempt to eat at a Chinese buffet and are expecting prime rib and stellar service, there’s something terribly wrong. I’ve been at better buffets and Tin Tin is pretty typical but if you’re in the area and hungry, it’s worth a shot.

You will get sick here. Name a biological pathogen– they serve it.
