The food is great and the employees are friendly. Love the Nim Chow and egg drop soup. A plus is they deliver! They are a hidden gem in Pawtucket!

I like that they give you free items when you order a certain amount. Everything is good and fast delivery

The general tso’s chicken & sweet and sour chicken were very good. However, the crab rangoons were disappointing; they were very soft and didn’t taste fresh.

So good!!! The prices are seriously the best I’ve ever seen for a Chinese food place! They have even better lunch specials! The food is awesome… Craving exactly what I got last time! Shrimp chow mein! Got an order of shrimp nim chow to try out today too! Yum!

It was good, flavored well. Items were ready when we pulled up. Price was a hair more than expected and I think the chicken could have been cooked more thoroughly. Seemed a bit rare at the bone.

The service is always good as well as the food I order. Been there many times food is always good. The inside really turned me off today the corner to the left is not usable for customers. It seems to be where the family and kids use for self. Floors were sticky, I think it’s time for a really good cleaning and make the inside more appealing. May not return

I decided to grab a quick bite from here on my way back from MA to my apt and had never been inside before. The lady taking the orders was very nice and explained what was in specific dishes. I ordered the Sichuan beef with steamed rice and they gave me plenty of rice. Enough food to save for two meals, which was good a second day too.
Would I go back, yes and try a different dish next time”. They do have an inexpensive lunch menu so I might try that next time.

Ordered the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg roll combination and it was tasteless. The chicken had the shape of munchkin donuts with a tiny bite of chicken in each one and there was hardly any rice in the container. The eggroll was just «ok».

I usually like this place because the lady there is nice and the food is excellent. However recently there has been a few instances where whomever answers the phone is extremely rude and abrupt. I would hate to stop going there just because one of the ladies there is a b***h!

I live close by and this place was the quickest delivery I ever got from a Chinese food place! Not to mention that the food was great!

Ordered from them last night. The food is some of the best Chinese I’ve had, and I’ve eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants. We all kept saying ‘yum, this is really good.’ We’ll be back for sure. Glad I decided to choose this place and it’s really close to home.

I love Chinese food and this is definitely one of the better takeout places. You already know what’s on the menu. The same food that is on every Chinese restaurant menu. What steps this up a bit is the fact that when you place an order they let you know that you have a free side dish coming. You don’t have to ask, mention coupons etc. Now isn’t that refreshing! The last time I ate inside the restaurant was in the 1990s so I don’t feel comfortable about commenting on the interior. But the takeout/​delivery is just fine.

Wah I was really scared to walk into this place (no offense). However, the food was great, and the employees really friendly! It’s literally a take out place (there are spaces to sit, but the storefront is pretty cluttered). You can generally also tell it’s a take-​out place based on the structure (very fast-​food like setting), so my rating is solely based off service and food rather than décor and atmosphere.
When I used to work out here, I absolutely had to get their Hot n Sour soup. Delicious! Cheap! What’s not to love! I also got a lunch order once — string beans with chicken, also very delicious. I brought a few co-​workers, and they also agreed, great Chinese food. Don’t let the looks deter you from giving this place a shot!

I have to admit I am usually one to judge a restaurant by its appearance. And I avoided Ming Garden for almost 3 years upon moving to Pawtucket, but in a recent state of desperation and a severe craving for chow mein, I broke down and ordered a small to go. I was pretty darn impressed!
The service has been consistently friendly each of the three times I have ordered. And fast! Even on a Thursday/​Friday night AND with a Pawsox game playing, my food was ready in less than 10 minutes even though they seem to be busy.
The veggies and noodles have been super fresh and always cooked perfectly! The portions are very fair if not huge depending on what you order and they are pretty cheap (score!) The chow mein /​low mein are always seasoned perfectly (who likes bland chow mein!) and the sauces have all been tasty so far.
All in all I have no reason to deduct a star from a near perfect rating other than the very interesting interior of the restaurant. It’s pretty scary and I would definitely never eat in. But who cares when you live less than a minutes drive down the street and can eat in your own home!

Love this spot. The orange chicken is my favorite. No too breaded and just enough sauce. The rice is absolutely amazing! I don’t care for the Lo mein it has no flavor. But otherwise it’s great. The prices are bit up there for a take out Chinese restaurant but that’s ok I’m willing to spend it for great food. Seriously. Even tastes better the next day.

Delicious! You can go to much more expensive restaurants but you won’t get any fresher more tasty food. Big jumbo shrimp, yummy appetizers, good chicken and broccoli, you name it, the best take out in the city for sure.
Plus super nice people, fast delivery, low prices and fresh food. Definitely a gem in Pawtucket.

Not too much to say really. Ming is consistent, taste goods & fast when it comes to both pick up or delivery. Not a place I would sit down and eat in. Actually yea, don’t go in and eat. Not that its not clean but they use one of of the seating area for storage and usually have their staff sitting there, its an odd set up. but the take out is good, I LOVE the scallion pancake. s They usually come free I think when you spend $ 30 or more.

I have been here at least a dozen times. The first several times were over the winter and all was fine. The portions are good and the people are polite. The prices are reasonable.
The a/​c is not the best so we have been getting the orders to go. While waiting we can see into the kitchen, which is not the cleanest. There seems to be some non employees in the kitchen, which is a major health code violation at least in Mass. The other night I saw an employee walk from the local supermarket with lettuce unwrapped and into the kitchen. To top it off the shrimp was soggy.
I will do my best to avoid this place but I am sure I will be back.
9÷12÷13 ate here tonight and was pleasantly surprised on how clean it was. The shrimp tasted like it was just delivered from the dock.

I have been to many Chinese takeout places and I must say that Ming garden has been among the top places to choose from. I always order their special combos which come with pork fried rice and you can choose different things to go with it such as 2 appetizers for example.
The food doesn’t take long if you do takeout and the quantity/​quality are great, Especially for the price! Next time if you’re in the mood for Chinese, head to Ming garden for sure.
