Stocked up on essential British Christmas items. Expensive but that’s to be expected as they are all imports. A freezer at the back even has black/white pudding, haggis, meat pies and sausage rolls!!!

I have been in twice. They have an impressive amount of goods for such a small store. I’ve always been treated well too.

I am never going back there. First, the lady attending the store is very rude and unfriendly. Not worth the trip. They have very little to offer. I go to England, so, I will not miss anything! This place was just recommended to me and, so, I thought, I would give it a try! Terrible place!!!

I’m not going back. I like to give my money to people who are friendly and respectful, and this place is anything but. I have no interest in being laughed at, in person or on the phone. Fortunately, there are other options! Try British Delights in Westford; I don’t know about their shipped goods, but in-person, they were friendly and the store was very well stocked.

Jelly Babies!!! I really love this shop, but as warned you will want to check the expiration on the goods. Most things seem to move pretty quickly and she does weed out the old stuff and put it in a cart on discount, but not everything seems to get checked. I love their strangely flavored crisps and many other items that are very British. I generally do not buy things like marmalade since the same exact thing can be found at regular groceries, but they also have things that are not found elsewhere. I believe that even the Cadbury things are made with different ingredients(I think real sugar instead of CFS?). We always see the same woman at the register when we get there, and if you are a regular customer she WILL special order for you. I love just walking around and looking at the fun. Oh, and I found a hard to find copy of Ab/Fab. I thought that I had them all, but there it was. They also sell tartans, for those who would like to find family colors. Not that they have a million, but there are a number of them. Really, just have fun, smile at the cashier, check those dates and enjoy. I really love it, and we go as a family.

Upon my fourth visit I realized nearly everything I’ve ever bought from them had either expired or expired that same month. CHECKTHEEXPIRATIONDATESBEFOREYOUBUY!!!

The Union Jack is a small, hole in the wall type store off of Route 1 that has all of the essential British foods. They have the bangers and meat pies in the back and an entire section of different teas in the front, but the most impressive aspect is the wall of sweets. With everything from short breads to just about anything covered in chocolate, the Union Jack has something to offer every sweet tooth.(I would definitely recommend Fox’s Whipped Creams, a delicious sweet biscuit snack.) They also had a huge selection of different condiments and toppings. In addition to just the classic British brown sauce, which they use on just about everything, they had a lot of different pickled vegetables, of which onions are definitely the best if you are looking to add some new flavor to your regular dishes. It was also really cool to see the authentic British foods looking so familiar with well known brands offering products I had no idea they made, like Heinz’s canned spaghetti or beans. Their drink selection was also very peculiar but looked very good as they had unusual flavors like black currant. They have a small selection of Indian foods as well, offering different sauces, curries, and flat breads that make a great dinner when looking for a change of pace. The service here was absolutely excellent as the shopkeeper did everything to help with questions and to explain anything that may throw you off. With kilts, candies, and condiments, the Union Jack seems to have something for any British cuisine aficionado.

i feel like this little store must stay in business because some brit expats begged their uncle walter to go back and forth between here and london and smuggle upteen cadbury bars, and bangers in his carryon direct from heathrow to logan. that’s a nice uncle. one little room, with cadbury products, mounds of tea, bangers, pork pies, soccer items, indian spices, heinz beans(the kind in the teal can), and turkish delights. again, that’s a nice uncle, and a store worth a visit if you’ve ever been to england and miss some of the staples.

Miss your Walker’s Crisps? Cadbury Flake? Small staples that make a huge difference in my quality of life! They have a pretty large variety of British/English import junk-food considering how small this shop is! They also have some home care stuff, must-have grocery items from across the pond, small frozen food section & funny gift shop with teapots and the such. All in all a nice drive down funky Rt. 1 with never a disappointing trip!

This place is great! It is a little British oriented import shop. My friend Jim just introduced me to a soda called ‘Irn-Bru’ that is available there. They have drinks, candies, gifts and some frozen food.
