3 years now I have been driving by to and from work. Noted the lines out there at 11 Centennial in the circle driveway. You see Cassie has a hot dog cart or in this case a lunch box. This folks is affordable eatin’. Cheap maybe to good to be true. So I just couldn’t stand it any longer. My passion for the tube steak was developed in the 80’s when my father in law Cliff introduced me to the fine art of the hot dog… the tube steak… the wiener. His was always put together in a perfect art form of mustard, relish, and ketchup. Yes ketchup! Toasted bun on 4th of July put it over the top and he was known to sneak out of the house after dinner to locate a Cape Cod hot dog vendor. So I spin the car into the parking area at 11 Centennial(for a land mark across from the Marriott). There’s Cassie attracting her regulars in shorts and t-shirt. Not me… I’m in need of a tube steak fix. Cassie… make mine a double with hot mustard, relish and onions. The perfectly toasted buns done in butter put me over the top. The Hebrew Nationals go down so fast… that Japanese speed eater would be in fear of loosing his crown. I ate for 6.50 plus tip and my tubes waere perfectly cooked, split done the middle and heavenly. Go there… eat …and enjoy.
