HORRIBLE. Service is terrible. I’m in the military & me & my colleagues came here after some training. We were in uniform & ignored for at least 20 mins before being seated. Once seated, took another 20 mins for a waitress to come to our table & another 20 mins before our drinks came to us, & it wasn’t even busy. Worst restaurant I have EVER been to.

After reading previous reviews I had concerns about eating here but I had work to do and I needed a pelace to write. They were close. My impression is that they have addressed their issues. I was greeted promptly. The waitress was very nice and kept my iced tea filled(my pet peeve). The food was delicious and someone came out of the kitchen and asked how everything was. I was very pleased.

Quite ridiculously the worst Dennys I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit. I thought maybe I’ll give them a chance after reading some of the reviews, but my god what a mistake that was. The wait for service or even acknowledgement is on a different level, they somehow manage to ignore you, it’s not even possible without intent. I was sitting right there twiddling my thumbs and making huffing noises to no avail. A gentlemen came in and sat next to me 10 mins after me and left after waiting 10 mins as he didn’t receive any service whatsoever, we just shared a mutual look of disappointment. I persevered and did eventually get my order in and yes you’ve guessed it, it came in bits and it came wrong. By the time I got my dry toast(yes dry toast, that means putting into the toaster and then giving it me! You don’t even have to cut it! Just give me some toast someone please!!! arrrggh) my food was cold and my bacon was wrong.(I asked for turkey and got pork) I will say if Dennys management reads this then please I don’t want anyone to lose their job or anything but please oh please retrain Danielle, she is possibly the worst waitress I have ever witnessed in ‘action’ I say action but I really mean lackluster performance. Completely uninspiring and really quite a drag. Speaking of waitresses, maybe they can spend less time calling each other ‘baby’ or ‘ma’am’ and talking to each other about cornbread(I kid you not!) and maybe more time just actually acknowledging a customer. I gave this one star because I have to, otherwise I wouldn’t even have rated it that! Sorry Dennys in Jackson MS you’ve failed miserably

I haven’t eaten yet. Waiting on my food now. But as soon as I walked up the host to be seated. She with an attitude said ’ someone will be right with you ’ and walked away. We waited about 11 min as waitresses kept walking pass while looking me in the face as I stand there waiting to be seated. I ended up getting fed up. Looked for their number and walked away and called. They didn’t answer the phone at first. And when they finally did I was put on hold. I finally put my order in and as of right now I am waiting on my to-go order. I can’t rate the food just yet. But I am writing a review regarding the terrible customer service. I won’t be back

Food was good and the price was right. However, the service was slow, albeit friendly. AARP discount was the attraction. Don’t be in a rush.

Dirty and the waitress kept laying across the bar complaining that she was tired. Not friendly but the food was made to order and it seemed fresh.

Good food and service, it is just eggs and bacon… but I am a big breakfast fan. All around good experience for a chain restaurant.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a Denny’s. What a pleasant surprise. We went on a Saturday morning and were shown straight to a table. Our server, Ashley H., was really nice and very timely with taking our order and keeping the coffee coming. We tried the strawberry pups as an appetizer – which was yummy. Very reminiscent of a beignet mixed with a cake donut. I felt like it was a food from the state fair. For breakfast the hubby had the ultimate grand slam omelette which he really enjoyed. While I had the country fried steak & eggs with a side of biscuits and gravy. My food was good. Not amazing but definitely solid diner breakfast food. Overall we really enjoyed it, and plan to come back – especially for those pancake pups.

It’s a run of the mill flying j Denny’s. The service and food quality depends on when you go. Far from the best and not too far from the worse.

I’ve been to a lot of Denny’s in my day. it’s a chain. I know they are hit or miss as far as both food and service goes. But this one, to date, is the worst one I have ever been to. Hubby and I have been here several times on visits to Mississippi. The reason we’ve chosen this Denny’s each time is because it’s been in the middle of the night(there’s not many options in MS at that time) and because they offer free WiFi. Since it has always been in the night, I understand they don’t have a large staff working. But every single time, we’ve had to wait at the hostess stand for 5 – 10 minutes to even be noticed so we can be seated. Why? Because the employees who are working are all standing around the counter area chit-chatting. Service has always been horrible. Each time they have been so slow that our server has only had our table. No one else. Yet it takes forever to get us drinks, takes forever to take our order, takes forever to get our food, takes forever to get our check… you get the point. My husband has gotten up himself many times to ask for refills, to ask for silverware, to ask for the check, etc. Again, not that our servers have ever been busy, but because they are standing around chit-chatting with their co-workers. Each time we’ve been here, we’ve ordered something different because the previous things we ordered were horrible. Logic told us to order something different and perhaps it would be better. No. I don’t understand that either b/c if they are so slow, WTH is the person doing cooking the food? It’s not like they are in a hurry trying to get a bunch of orders out, so things should be cooked well and properly. It also shouldn’t take so darn long. The WiFi. Like I said, it’s one of the reasons we choose this place. It has never worked. The first visit I asked the server. She didn’t have a clue. I asked for the manager. Not only did she not have a clue, but she was so rude. One of the rudest managers I’ve encountered at any restaurant. The good? The restaurant is newish, so everything is clean and looks nice. That ends«the good.» Even though we’ll never return here again, I still gave it two stars because it takes A LOT for me to give a 1 star rating. It pretty much has to be hazardous to your health for me to give a 1 star rating. If you are in MS and looking for a sit-down meal in the middle of the night and are looking for WiFi, try the IHOP off I-55 North: They have good food, service, and fast WiFi.
