Took my wife and sister out for lunch last Sunday. I had fried oysters, my wife had fried catfish and my sister ordered the crab fingers. Everything including the sides(dirty rice, sweet potato fries and salad) were very good. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and well kept. We all ate for about $ 50 including drinks and tip.

My husband and I tried Floyd’s for the first time on a Thursday night. Great atmosphere and they have a nice outdoor space. The place was fairly busy but our server was very attentive. Our catfish was ok, but the fried pickles were great. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the Cajun offerings.

Seems like everything was wrong about this place outside of the shrimp which were okay. 1st) You have to walk to the back to enter the restaurant. 2nd) The calamari was gummy and over cooked they should have a tasting up the street of Baytown Seafood’s Calamari. The gumbo was extremely bland with no flavor even after they add hot sauce. They should have a gumbo tasting at Crescent City Beignets(Westheimer). I know you guys can do better than this first impression. Oh and the tea was flat and stale. My girlfriend should have read some of these reviews before we rolled the dice for a unsatisfying evening.

Excellent place for Cajun seafood. Oysters are fantastic, actually have been here several times and have never had a bad meal. It can get crowded at time and a little chaotic, but that’s just tells how good this place is.

Fantastic food, not-so-great service. Friendly, but a bit disorganized. The crawfish were perfectly spiced.

I really don’t understand why people like this place. the food is so cheap, I could buy better canned food from the grocery store.

Awesome gumbo! It competes with anything I’ve had in New Orleans. The bar is hit or miss. I’ve had good mixed drinks, but the«crocarita» is not good. They add soda, and it just tastes watered down. Maybe the frozen margarita is better. I also got Tito’s with grapefruit juice, but it was canned white grapefruit juice, so it wasn’t good at all. I’ve gotten bourbon drinks in the past that were really good. The salads and the shrimp half and half are usually safe bets. All in all, it’s a good place, but be safe and custom order your drink. Or just get a beer.

I was so excited to come to Floyd’s and experience some great crawfish. Service was great however the food was not good. If you are a true crab lover this is NOT the place to be. The crab is stringy and you have to fight for every bite. I walked out of Floyd’s with a $ 90 bill and did not like a bit of it. The crawfish tasted like it was seasoned in Lawry’s seasoning salt. On a positive note the margaritas are ONPOINT!!! F.Y.I Drink the frozen margarita before you order. Then you may give a better review then myself!

I have been here and would normally give this Floyds a 3 star about average. But this last time I went, I had the best experience I have had at any restaurant. First I want to shout out to our waiter! I feel horrible I forgot his name but outside waiter he was awesome! The oysters in the half were perfect! HUGE! And the crawfish, excellent seasoning not to much which sometimes is the case at some places. And those were huge too. I think I am coming back this weekend to have the same experience hopefully! FYI of Floyds reads these this waiter was outside waiter, guy with small beard and worked Saturday for lunch. He needs a raise!

OMG. first time here a client referred me so I ordered Togo! Upon arriving to the front I thought I was going the wrong way, but it clearly said entrance so I wasn’t so embarrassed. .I have to say I was greeted immediately and the service was exceptional for Togo. I was even given a complimentary drink for not having to wait 2 minutes she was sweet. completely impressed! So I was given the breakdown of my order and the young lady was on point! I was not disappointed by the service at all. OK so my order.5lbs special with red potatoes and corn. .so I know different restaurants have different techniques and style in cooking and this place was cajun, fresh, not over cooked. the potatoes were not mushy, but tender. and aldente? The corn was not over boiled but savory, fresh, and crisp. I’m trying to describe. it wasn’t FROZEN. .the crawfish were huge! The vein in the tail were rarely full of black poop, mostly clean. Flavorful but not overbearing. She provided butter and extra seasoning as well as 3 different types of crackers. when i said provided she hooked it up! I am so pleased by my experience here. not to mention it was Togo and exceptionally packed well. Thank you guys!

This place is such a shame. The food was fantastic! The service was terrible. So bad in fact that I won’t be returning. The patio is probably my favorite in Pearland. The table was dirty. The silverware was disgusting. It was literally glued together with old dirty food. The management must be terrible. They didn’t even seem to be that understaffed. The waiters and busboys were tripping over each other and the planters on the patio. I was really hoping to have found a place with a fantastic patio in Pearland. I was extremely disappointed.

We go to Floyd’s frequently because we like the menu and the atmosphere. We had a party there yesterday, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the food and the service. Kim, the manager, was very helpful, and John is a great bartender.

Worst service ever at this Floyds. Flat out called me rude after watching an empty table for 10 minutes after asking what is taking so long to sit us. Then the entire staff starts starring at me, my food gets«forgot» and the waitress flat out calls me rude. Never coming back, also their food sucks and over priced. Who puts seasoning on the outside of crawfish, weak. Avoid at all cost.

This place has horrible service. We went to dinner with friends wanting to have a nice night. We told out server we were getting the appetizer. She brought our tabs back and charged our friends. Then we gave her our credit cards. When the tabs came back she charged our card with our friends tab and ours with their card! This is just a portion of the night. I would have got the Manager but he was already tending to the table beside us. Will not waste a perfectly good night out again on the Floyd’s on 518 in Pearland!

I’ve passed by this place a couple of times and I’ve heard some great things about Floyd’s, and Cajun food? Sign me right up! However, this experience would be better remembered as «the saga of how me and 5 members of my family contracted heart disease in less than 2 hours.» My first impression walking in filled my expectations of a Cajun/steakhouse place. There’s seafood decorations all over the wall and it’s nice and spacious inside. There’s also outdoor seating with a small stage(?) but if you live in Texas you know eating outside in the humid heat isn’t very desirable! Our family was looking forward to eating crawfish which they told us was not in season, that’s fine. That was our mistake for not checking. I ended up ordering the lobster bisque and one of the specialty Floyd oysters. My family ordered crawfish and catfish etoufees, steak, shrimp, onions rings and a fried shrimp platter. Wow the lobster bisque was salty. It was very very good, but even though I just ordered the cup size, I STILL couldn’t finish because I reaching for my water every two seconds. With the oysters, I was very pleasantly surprised to see them arrive on time since our waitress warned me it could take longer than the other food. I forgot the exact name of the oysters but the oysters were topped with shrimp, crab meat, and cheese on top. But I could barely taste the oysters because the flavor was overwhelmed by the amount of cheese!!! It wasn’t terrible, but not what I expected when I ordered, which probably might be more my fault than theirs. Also, again, very very salty. Now I know Louisiana style cooking is very salty and seafood dishes are also very salty, however, I tried my sisters steak dish and found that very salty too. I mean I don’t mind salt, I actually enjoy sprinkling some myself just to spike up the flavor, however I think whoever is cooking must really want all of us to get heart disease because there is too. much. damn. salt. Literally the waitress made multiple rounds of water for all of us because we couldn’t stop reaching for our glasses. Otherwise, the service was friendly, not overwhelming or talkative, but timely and made sure to check in often. The prices I’d say are not appropriate for the quality they’re offering. The food wasn’t bad(except salty of course), just wasn’t worth the almost $ 200 bill given to us! Did I mention the food is very very salty?

This place is GREAT! I love the fried catfish and shrimp, ribs, sausage, brisket and sides. They offer real cajun flavor! The drinks are pretty good as well. The staff is friendly. They have decent parking given the location.
