I walked in less than 30 minutes before closing, literally in dire need of real food with substance as I’d been traveling all day. The Manager advised me of what offerings remained due to closing time and she had exactly what I wanted. When I told her my situation she said, «I have exactly what you need.» Her attitude, attention to my need(regardless of the time) and fast turnaround meant so much to me. Some places lose the customer service when they are about to close so the fact that she cared compelled me to write this review.

Amazing food. The customer service was amazing. I will be returning again and again. On Wednesday you can get two pieces of chicken for 99 cents.

THISPLACEISSOGOOD. Omnkmnomnomnom. I wasnt even hungry yet i just ate close to an entire chicken. And greens. And sweet potato pie better than Patti’s. Order the biscuit — it has honey and butter and is practically dessert. Also…the staff is SONICE. I’d come back every day if I could, but I’d probably die of a heart attack in about a month.

I’ve eaten at Frenchy’s for years. The original and other locations in Houston. However, at this pearland location it taste nothing like I’m used to. No seasoning, no crisp and no flavor. They need an overhaul and to make sure it is up to par. It’s like they use old grease and don’t know how to fry it right. Service is fast but that’s about it. Disappointed.

It had been a few years since I first tried Frenchy’s but it was at their Reliant Stadium location. I was a bit indifferent to it then. Well, I thought I would revisit while in Pearland. I actually was quite impressed. I ordered some special with chicken and fries. Added some red beans/rice. The service was great and the people running the counter were as about friendly as you can get. They were courteous with the customers and seemed to take pride in their work. I hope they are rewarded. The only negative I have… the fries were too salty. Everything else was top notch. Busy? You better believe it. People were coming in like mad. Most would get their orders to go. Keep up the good work, please be easy on the salt. LOL

Ahhh love frenchys! I was so excited that they opened one near my house. Everyone was welcoming when I walked in, food was pretty quick, and it was tasty as always! No complaints here

Customer service is excellent at this location. The chicken strips were also good. The sides were sort of bland. You may like them, I was expecting more flavor.

Great customer service. I sat down and my order was brought to me. They also checked on me to make sure my food was good. Food was hot and fresh. Went for lunch. There was no line. The ambiance is very HS cafeteria. That was the only drawback.

Frenchy’s opened up in Pearland about 7 months ago according to the cashier who took my order. This was my very first visit. I noticed it before, as it sits very close to Grazia Italian restaurant but never paid it much mind. The layout is funky in that you walk in and see a wall which you walk around to get to the counter unlike every other fast food place. The manager or someone shouts out«Welcome to Frenchy’s» which is reminiscent of the Waffle House greeting. Ordering is somewhat chaotic as there are 2 registers but only one operator so folks don’t know what line to stand in. That caused some confusion when I was there with folks, including me, stepping aside to make room for the folks in the wrong line. Order process is similar to other fast food places as a cashier rings you up and gives numbers to the customers who then wait for their food. That was the first problem. The management of Frenchy’s in Pearland has under staffed the place to handle the flow of customers. There were a total of 3 folks working. one cashier, one cooking food and one managing the orders. This caused a back up in production. Add to that the lack of inventory forecasting for dinner crushes and you have a major bottleneck. It was a full 20 minutes before I got my order in a fast food place. That defies the definition of fast food. The other major problems is that the ownership has zero interest in creating any ambiance in the sit down section for diners. The tables and chairs look like they came out of a prison. The walls have no decorations save posters of menu items. The napkins, food containers and drink containers are all pure white absent of any logos that identify the place. All in all this is a take out joint with decent chicken that rented too much space. Don’t make plans to eat there… call ahead and take it home. Bottom line: Their chicken was among the freshest chicken I’ve had in a fast food place but this is not fast food and its not a restaurant.

Our first time at Frenchy’s and we were very pleasantly surprised. The chicken and fries were hot and crispy, the biscuits were amazing, but the best part was the service. The ladies up front are super sweet and helpful. All around great experience :)

Update: 9÷14÷15, I purchased a breast for my mother and she said that the chicken was undercooked and bloody. So I think this Frenchy’s is better than the original location. The food is always hot and the staff are super sweet.

Best chicken I’ve ever had! The flavor was exceptional and the dirty rice was full of flavor. Wish there was something like this back home. They were busy but the girl at the register was really friendly and helpful.

Chicken wings were awesome the only reason they’re getting a four they need to fix the air conditioning.

I’ve been to a few different Frenchy’s in town, and none are as good as the original. Today, I was pleasantly surprised to find the one nearest my home is so close to the original, it’s almost difficult to tell a difference. The ambiance isn’t what Scott Street provides, but sitting in the AC of a building rather than the AC of my truck while enjoying the food is a pleasant surprise. The staff was very pleasant however I did wait 5 – 8 minutes for the staff to get caught up, but it was well worth the wait!

Glad there’s a location here. Sometimes it has the classic frenchy flavor and sometimes it doesn’t. They have better deals offered at this location, however it’s on the days those deals are offered that the chicken taste pretty plain.

I’ve been to a few different Frenchy’s on the south side of town over the past year or so and none of them quite delivered that flavor and crispiness that I was used to in days of yore from the original Frenchy’s. But I came across this location in Pearland, had the chicken wings, fries and the strawberry soda — I knew I was at the right place! And I was pleasantly surprised at the politeness of the staff. I’ll pass up the Frenchy’s nearest to my house just to come to this one because they didn’t disappoint!

After living in Houston for 10 years, we finally tried Frenchy’s. I prefer Popeyes’s spicy fried chicken flavor more. It’s crispier as well. They don’t offer all the sides yet on their menu. The rolls are basic dinner rolls that tasted a bit dry. You get fresher rolls buying a package from the grocery store. I was hoping for fresh baked biscuits.

I’ve seen Frenchy’s around Houston so I was happy to see one open up in Pearland. Needed a quick dinner so finally gave it a try. I’m not a fan of KFC and I can safely say Frenchy’s is better. If we’re comparing it to Popeye’s, things get clouded a bit. I went with the 3 wing special with fries and a biscuit. The chicken was nicely seasoned and tasty but the fries weren’t very good. The fries were seasoned which helped but they would’ve sucked without the seasoning. Biscuit was solid. Good meal for less than $ 10 and they hooked me up with an extra wing. Not sure if this was intentional but I appreciated it nonetheless!

Chicken was awesome! Some of the best I have ever eaten. They were still struggling a bit since they are really new but I expect them to iron things out. My wife loves the greens. Staff was friendly just need some seasoning.

Can’t believe this place came in the heart of Pearland! Went yesterday and the staff was very nice. They have the best fried chicken by far! Nom nom!
