Nail Perfection

Again, went in for a mani and my mom went in for her first pedicure! What!!!
I had a gel shellac change and color. Amy is always good. I was afraid of the removal method at first. I trusted her. She used that electric file thingy. It helped the removal process so much easier. Literally just the top layer of the old gel shellac was filed off, to allow easy removal via acetone soak. I swear it was like 5 minutes. I’m patient, but don’t wait for the soft scrape off of the shellac. So, I used my finger nails to gently scrape off the softened current gel on my nails. It was red. I do this because my skin will dry fast and I like soft hands. :)
Mom and her pedicure… Fabulous! I made her get the deluxe pedicure. Aside from the basic, she had the green tea and peppermint food soak. Mmmmm. They did the regular pedi things; followed by then parrafin sp? wax wrap. Nice and hot as she likes it. Then the calves mint mask with hot towels. Then a gentle hot stone massage. Then a gentle scrub. All on her calves. She was in heaven.
Not bad for her first time. Not THAT first time. Lol!!! First time pedicure.
