Salon’s on the Lake

Wish I could rate zero stars. The owner Katrina charged me for a sew in and gave me a quick weave. I figured the style was simple so she couldn’t mess it up. Yea right! It looked like o rolled out of bed instead of got my hair done professionally. I know they can’t give you EXACTLY what’s on the picture but this was no where near it. Burned my natural hair as well. STAY AWAY!!! I have been there more than once and the two stylists I had were garbage. I will wear my hair in a wrap before I come back to these no talent stylists. After I removed my style and washed my hair it would not revert back. My hair was burned as well. I will NEVER come back.

I liked this salon until March 20^th, 2015. Went in for my appointment… Stylist leaves to go get food. I was just going to get styled. After 30 minutes her assistant asked me if I just wanted to get washed and dried while we wait. I said ok. Assistant does everything to my hair and we are STILL waiting for the stylist. 30 minutes later she shows up to just curl another clients and my hair. Who leaves their salon for over an hour wen you have people that have appointments. Then she charged me twice on my credit card. Tried to called and message her to fix it… No reply. Oh… And this was my birthday! Husband was pissed. So was I. Can’t wait until her assistant finally moves to a new salon so I can just go to her.

I will never ever allow anyone to put heat in my hair again!!! Beware of Salons on the Lake if you are natural and want to straighten your hair! My fro was beautiful and just wont do right anymore. I had a consultation with a natural hair salon tonight in Houston. She immediately looked at my hair and said that I have heat damage. I was crushed because I’ve worked so hard to the point that I was in love with my hair… until Salons on the Lake!

Not even worth one star. I been to many salons in pearland but this one disappointed me the most. Ladies, Please don’t waste your hard earned money here.

I went here recently and the owner’s assistant washed my hair once. While the stylist was doing my hair I noticed flakes falling all over the place, but didn’t think too much about it. When I got home and looked in the mirror there was dandruff caked around the front of my head. I couldn’t believe she would allow a client to leave her shop with dirty hair. Bring the exact cash because there is a $ 5 fee for credit cards and if you give $ 40 she won’t give change back. I won’t be back!
