Waffle House

This is my favorite Waffle House by far! Clean, Good Service, Fast Service. Friendly Staff.
I like the fact the managers are so involved asking if everything is ok to every table.

First problem was no where enough parking. Second was it took 40 minutes to be seated and I was alone!!! I didn’t need a table or booth for 10 people just me by myself. Only good thing was I was waited on after I sat down. Food was mediocre. Nothing special at all. Bacon was way over done. Not a very good experience. Will not be going back here.

It’s the Waffle House, so temper your expectations as it pertains to the ambiance. The food, is anything but healthy, but it’s always cooked to order and tastes great. Staff is attentive because due to the small configuration of the restaurant, the waitress is never more than a few feet away. They have great coffee that is ground in house.

Let me start by saying that I love Waffle House. When FEMA gauges how bad a natural disaster is by a restaurant’s operating status, I’m impressed. The waitresses are always friendly and the cooks are the most efficient I’ve seen.
My experience at this particular location deserves a review if not for anything but a good laugh.
It was after rodeo Houston and everyone is hungry. So Waffle House is open all night, let’s go there. It’s me, hubby, and 2 older kids.
I get sweet tea, hubby gets diet coke, sin gets coke, daughter gets water. There’s also a deal that you can get a large oj for $ 1 with any paid beverage purchase so I order that to share. Waitress brings a small oj while singing some weird sing about orange juice. No big deal. Then she can’t remember which glass is diet coke and which is regular so she. …are you ready for this. …practically sticks her nose in each glass and takes a big sniff. I sir even know how to react. I’ve never had anyone sniff a drink before like that.
She sets the glasses down and treks the guys to taste them. I say that diet coke is usually darker so the drinks need to be switched. The woman argues with me like I’m an idiot and says, «No! Diet coke is always lighter. I know. «Ok, that’s not correct. Diet Coke is darker in color but whatever. So she says in a condescending manner, «Taste them and just see if I’m wrong.» She was wrong. This was after she had sniffed the drinks.
Anyway, she got our orders all wrong, charged us for her mistakes, proceeded to get other orders wing at the other tables, and irritated the cooks so much that they yelled at her.
Waffle House is great. This experience wasn’t. That being said, we’ll be back because who can resist a bacon, egg, cheese Texas melt with scattered, covered, peppered hashbrowns at 2am?

Oh, the Waffle House! What can one say about this bedrock of our society? Why do we crave bacon, eggs, waffles, and so many other offerings from the Waffle House at 3 AM? Well, when I have these cravings, I sure am glad they are open. This location is clean and the service is good.

Food and sandwich I got was good. Service was quick and simple don’t expect much. Be careful with the add ons! When your order is taken the server will try to upgrade your meal causing extra charges if you are unaware!

Will never come back to this location. The place needs new management ASAP. Came here about 2 days ago for breakfast with my husband, we walked in and had took a seat at the red chairs by the entrance door. We never got acknowledged by the employees, we waited 40 minutes and still never got seated. We walked out after we noticed that the place was infested with flies! There was flies everywhere! They were all over people eventing their food, I could see some people trying to scare them away and I didn’t wanna have to do that if I’m paying for a service. It was a horrible and disgusting experience.

We recently were in the Pearland area and had dinner here. The food was great as always but the customer service really needs some help. We were handed our food and then never checked up after that. Three times I had to ask for extra coffee and more soda for my daughter. The waiter had no smile and didn’t speak at all. He would just gaze with this «lm lost kind of look»! It’s moments like this that I seriously believe not all people are meant to be in the customer service industry. He seemed so unhappy and like he didn’t want to be there. Yes he may have been having a bad day but still the customer shouldn’t be able to sense anything other then see a smile and get exceptionally great service.

This place was ripping at the seams when I arrived. Because it’s so small the kitchen, dining area, bar, waiting is just one big conjoined space. I counted eleven people behind the counter prepping and taking orders. One additional employee kept a wait list for those dining in. There was one person working the waffle stations. I watched as he prepped the waffles some appeared very pale as he removed them. With the rush of the crowd, it think he was worried more about quickness and not quality. The quality of the waitstaff was similar to the waffles; they varied. some were very upbeat and attentive towards the customers others moved like walking zombies (which I’m sure slowed down the kitchen)
I ordered to go. It took a total of 40 min for one order of grits, toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, and waffles to complete. I found the whole experience overwhelming and wouldn’t come again; not even to order to go.

I have been to this Waffle House a couple of times with out too much of a hassle but I have to say tonight was the worst night of all. It is a Tuesday night at 7pm, I didn’t expect them to be busy, and I guess they didn’t either. There were 3 families seated when I arrived with only 3 workers. The workers were all young teens who didn’t seem to really know what they were doing. Service was exceptionally slow. The waffle irons broke so they could no longer make waffles. NO WAFFLES AT THE WAFFLE HOUSE.. what?. After an hour wait. I left with cold food only to get home and find eggshells in my eggs. –_​-​. I knew I should have just eaten a salad. They really need to step it up there

I was at my local mechanic and found out I had a few hours to kill before my car would be ready. I looked around and saw Waffle House and Jack in the Box. I had to choose between the lesser of two evils, so I chose Waffle House. We walked in and immediately I felt like I was in some small town diner. Something seemed off. Looking back at my life, my Waffle House visits almost always occurred late at night after a long night of alcohol intake. Being there sober really was eye opening. I remember how glorious those late night meals were. Delicious waffles and smothered hash browns definitely helped soak up all the shots I took those nights. The food while sober really was a whole different story. The waffle was undercooked and very doughy. The hash browns were borderline burnt and seemed to be way smaller than I remember. The jalapeño biscuit was as hard as a hockey puck. Their only saving grace was the eggs. They were cooked perfectly. Honestly though, how hard is it to mess up eggs? I wondering if it was just this particular location that served subpar food or was I just mislead all these years by alcohol?

It wasn’t that great :/​I’ve been to a better one when I used to live in virginia beach. The cook was slow and yet he messed up at making the grits, hash browns, and waffles.

Every bite I had from the All Star meal was wonderful and felt like my G’pa’s cooking. They’ve definitely improved from the last year I was here, which was a surprise. Veronica is awesome!

Good food. Affordable breakfast. Great portion sizes. Friendly staff. Consistent. I like this place.

The food was fine but service not so great. The cook that was there was constantly arguing with all the waitresses and being condescending. It was very uncomfortable having to sit there and listen to all the workers fight with each other.

This place by far has the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced in my 28 years of life! The district manager Sam is rude as hell kicked us out because we were waiting for 15 mins and our food had yet to be started on! He went on to tell us the cook took a break and had been there since the morning. Not my problem. He did nothing to resolve the issue at all! He got upset and told us to leave. I will never visit this establishment ever again in life! I advise no one to come here and eat! It wasn’t even that clean of a place. All the staff was in the back having casual conversation about Sams Wife!!! Smh

One of the rare occasions where I feel like I’m about to robbed at gunpoint… by the employees!!! Where do they find the wait staff… Craigslist???

Terrible service. Food was overcooked, had to send back every plate we had. We thought we would just brush off the burnt but it was beyond able to be eaten. Gross hairballs on the floors. Filthy silverware. Waited 45 minutes for food. This was around 10pm on a Tuesday night.

Dirty. The worst thing you want to see is 3 employees standing around in a empty restaurant with visible flith. I went in having waffles on my mind and the waffle markers are right behind the counter in sight. They were disgusting with probably every ingredient used for the day just dripping from from each machine. I walked straight out the door because I couldn’t sit having to stare at more than that mess. I called a corporate number to tell them about my experience but was never contacted again after that. Bad experience and such a let down when all you want is a damn waffle.
