Took my mom here from out of town, the waitress took care of us and made sure we had the correct food, and the food came out at a decent time. Over all exerience good

Where do I start… Bad service, food comes out 30 minutes later, (mind you it was only eggs and pancakes), cold and separated from the bowl it came in. Second time here but first for breakfast, definitely last. Only plus was that the mgr covered the bill, which was nice even though we already cancelled it and never ate.

If I could have given this place 0 stars I would have. HORRIBLE service and after reading the reviews on here from other Unilocal users– it really makes me wonder if management even cares to correct some of these issues.
When we arrived we were sat almost immediately. However, no one ever came to our table to take our drink order after waiting over 20 minutes. Multiple servers walked by us but acted as if we were invisible. No one even bothered to greet us and tell us that they would be with us momentarily. We finally got up and complained to the first person we saw and we’re told they would send someone right over. After waiting another 10 minutes and several other people walking by we decided to just leave.
It was clear they didn’t care about our business or the fact that we had been sitting there over 20 minutes.
What makes it worse is that we drove over 20 minutes to come eat here. We will NOT be back.
This place is horrible and obviously management could careless considering this seems to be a known issue.
Don’t come to this place. Don’t waste your time. Take your money elsewhere to some place that’s wants your buisness.

Just left this location at 751 pm. I had sat there for 11 min without a single person coming to my table. I then got up to go ask if we had a waiter amd the girl told me she would get someone over there. After watching 2 more waitresses come out and look over but not come over we got up and left. I now know why they were so empty on a Thursday night. Horrible sense of urgency or care of guests. Glad I don’t work here where the lack of discipline and caring seemingly goes from management down to servers.

I love their rainbow trout menu, and their breakfast menu is also good, fast service and nice store and restaurant.

First and last time we will visit this restaurant. We had a group of ten which included 3 children under the age of 8. We waited for over 10 min watching the waitress seat new guest and she would automatically ask for thier drink order. As the waitress was walking to our table my daughter asked her if she could have a water. The waitress seemed annoyed and completely ignored her. Sighed and continued passed our table. Seriously?!! Then a second waitress (older) came to take our order. She took the kids order first and then the adults. My brother later joined us and placed his order probably a good 15 min after us. Surprisingly, when the food came out my brothers order was first. He had to wait for our food to come out which took longer. When questioned why or how his order could have came out first if we placed ours ahead of time plus ask specifically that our kids plates come out first since the are slow eaters (and this way the kids eat while adults chat). The waitress actually responded with a smart remark. Ugh! Second waitress equal the rudness. Sadly, the food was not impressive. The kids got the burgers and took one or two bites. They complained the bun was to hard. My husband didnt eat his plate since the shrimp tasted frozen and disgusting. They didnt get my brother in laws plate right and at the end we all left unsatisfied and hungry. Such a disaster family dinner. NEVER again. Zero stars if I could.

Worst experience at a cracker barrel. I’ve been to other locations a handfull of times. However this was my first for this location. To begin with we waited an hour to get a party of 5 table ready. We understood that there was going to be a bit of waiting. Once we were seated it took 15 mins before anyone even came to greet us and take at least our drink order. Of course after waiting we ordered our food with our drinks as well. It then took another 15 mins to get our drinks after that 10 mins for our appetizer. We waited a whole hour to only be told that someone in the kitchen «messed up» our order so they had to take it from scratch again. Meanwhile ppl that came after us were already being brought their food! After waiting another 10 minutes we decided to leave. We didn’t want to get up before notifying someone so once our waitress came around we told her we were leaving because it was ridiculous that we were waiting for so long. Instead of an apology we got an «ok» and that was all. Wasted 2hours of our day! Won’t be coming back here thats for sure!

This Cracker Barrel was horrible! We waited for 2 hours and a half for nothing! They never brought our food and even when we said we were leaving they never apologized! Will never come back to this location!

The only reason I gave it two stars is because we USED to have good experiences here. The hostess and cashiers are always pleasant and nice. And when we’re there at night it’s a pretty nice experience too. My husband and I come there quite often and usually Saturday mornings, which are usually busy. Having been in the restaurant business for years myself, I understand the high stress involved in the job when it’s busy. In that case, you need more servers so customers can enjoy pleasant, nice severs and hot food. I ordered the sweet ham and vegetable skillet and asked for them to not put cheese on top. I was told they can’t take ANYthing out or out anything into the order. You can’t just not sprinkle cheese on top? I’m not asking anyone to go out of their way and do extra work. Plus, I’m the customer and should get what I want. The food also came out barely warm. Cheese issue aside, attitudes, service, and cold food are all luke warm there. Needless to say, I’ll be going to a different Cracker Barrel or completely avoiding CB all the way.

Solid service, solid food, a family favorite. I never have an issue when I come here. The wait staff is very efficient, friendly and I can rely on my meal being just the way I want it. They are attentive to the needs of their customers. I can always rely on this Cracker Barrel restaurant to make my meal pleasant.

I would love to be able to give five stars. This was the first Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to where customer service was severely lacking. Unfortunately, my waiter Jeffrey was only seen a total of two times once for drinks once for the ticket on the table. After 15 minutes of being seated another waitress gladly took our drink order she also actually took our food order although she couldn’t find our waiter Jeffrey. In the end I ended up tipping our waitress because Jeffrey was literally MIA the entire lunch. The two times he was around he was extremely touchy feely, placing his hands on our shoulder or back. Almost as if he knew he needed to overcompensate for not being around to take care the multiple tables in his section. Super creepy. Thank you to the sweet waitress that did take on our table even though we were not part of your section.

This place is horrible! The service is shoddy. We went here on a Thursday afternoon, we didn’t have to wait long to get seated. It wasn’t busy at all! When we sat down our nightmare began. It took the waitress about 10 minutes to take our drink order. We were given only lunch menus when I asked the waitress for breakfast menus she mumbled something under her breath and rolled her eyes. She came back with no menus and blamed the bus boy for not bringing them. After 20 minutes passed we finally placed our order. Well, after waiting 30 minutes longer our food still
Hadn’t come. I asked the waitress what the hold up was and she said she was
Going to check on our order. She comes back 15 minutes later and doesn’t really have an excuse. We finally tell her we were leaving and we had enough of their crappy service. She blamed the kitchen and said they were backed up. Really, an hour to wait, they weren’t even busy! I felt like an idiot for waiting so long, I should have listened to my gut feeling when the waitress had an attitude. If someone hates their job so much, find a new one. I’ll never, ever go back To Cracker Barrel. They need to get trained on how to provide speedy service, being polite, and getting food out in a timely manner. Hire more people or get a bigger kitchen! Get it together Cracker Barrel! You have one job.

Third time to visit and they are always out of something. Today during prime dinner time: No meatloaf nor pot roast. Server had to make extra trips to the kitchen just to check if was in stock.
Cleanliness is good considering the high traffic. Food tastes good as evident of the
Lack of empty tables. When visiting make sure that you select an alternative meal just in case they are out.

One thing that Pearland is lacking is good breakfast spots. Don’t get me wrong, we have plenty of chains here, but nothing unique. My go to spot for a regular, home cooked like breakfast would be Cracker Barrel. We came on a weekday and it was packed. Must be good right? Even with a long wait, its always fun to sit outside on the rocking chairs and play checkers, or walk around the gift shop. There are all kinds of items from my childhood which brings back great memories. Very nostalgic! They had a bunch of Christmas goodies out, so my wife picked up a few items.
As far as food goes, I do not think I have had a bad meal here. I typically go for breakfast, but every blue moon, I have tried their lunch or dinner options. My usual meal is the Sunrise Sampler. It comes with 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits, fried apples, cheesy hash browns, and a sampler of ham, sausage and bacon. They have the best pan sausage and bacon. Everything tastes great and homemade. I usually find someone to share an order of pancakes too. They are not your typical fluffy pancakes, but thin, crispy pancakes, which is the way I prefer them. Until Pearland gets some cool spots like Houston for breakfast, I will stick to this spot!

They have daily specials as well as a lot of options to choose from.
I had the pot roast with macaroni&cheese, green beans and corn. Was really good! Also had a sweet tea with my meal… my goodness it wa sweet!
Service was great as well.
I didn’t get any dessert but I did see a lot of people walking out with pies.
Definitely will comeback.

This is the first bad Cracker Barrel restaurant experience!
The food is unfailing. It’s great as usual. The service is horrible. I thought my server — Simone H — was a bad seed but all the reviews say the same about the service on this branch.
We sat down for about seven minutes. No one said hi. We went to host station and said no one greeted us.
Someone finally came with a negative attitude. She took orders only. No servitude whatsoever. When my wife had a hard time about her order, the server stormed away saying I’ll do these first.
No extra napkin. No refill. When we asked for to go box she did not acknowledge and kept on walking. When she gave us the box, she handed it out without stopping or looking at us.
Was she busy? No. It was past 2PM. The place is half empty. She stopped and chatted with other guests.
Not coming back here. Don’t go here if you want to enjoy your money’s worth.

Busy today on Thanksgiving! I am on a road trip and eating alone today and still was lucky enough to get the pleasant & attentive Kourtney! Great meal! Great service! Great Holiday meal! Thanks CB!

I told myself that I would NOT come back to eat here again because despite the relatively tasty food, their service sucks!!! They are extremely slow and even when they’re only at half capacity, they mess up orders and take forever.
Today I went with a friend who dragged me here and we both ordered the Grandma’s breakfast. This was after waiting 5 minutes for a waitress to greet us and get us water. I specified that I wanted melted butter with my order and 22 minutes later we get our food without what I asked for. On top of that, my plate was chipped in 3 places. I had to go to the hostess stand to ask for the manager. He asked if he could replace my pancakes but I declined because that would have meant more waiting. I sent everything back because the other food didn’t taste good either. I explained that I had avoided their location for over a year because of service issues and I’ve never had a bad experience at other locations.
The waitress came to apologize half-​heartedly by saying she was sorry that I didn’t get my order when I wanted it! WTH!?! The nerve!!! She didn’t seem to think it was her fault for NOT putting my order in correctly, for NOT checking it, or for NOT noticing the broken plate it was served on. Needless to say, this is my very last visit!

Perfect for those wanting some country home cooking. Even though I always seem to order breakfast, even breakfast for dinner, they do have really good non-​breakfast items as well. They’re pancakes are definitely one of my favorites, warm buttermilk goodness with real maple syrup! Saturday and Sunday mornings are always packed, and with good reason. Stop by when you get a chance and definitely try the breakfast!

HL & I have been to this Cracker Barrel location in Pearland before and previously we have had decent food and good service, but today’s mishaps make me not want to return anytime soon!
After I ordered and specifically said I wanted «soft scrambled» eggs (because most places over scramble and they are overcooked and dry), the order I received with my pecan pancakes were «not cooked» properly — the «liquid part» I received, was the uncooked egg whites that had not been mixed into the raw yolk before cooking them.
Salmonella alert!
Who wants to eat raw uncooked eggs?!
The waitress offered to replace them and I said yes thank you, but I NEVER got them!
I did not get warm maple syrup with my pancakes and I had to ask for that too.
I asked for another warm up of coffee and I did not get that either.
The waitress was nice and friendly, but the misses were too many to overlook!
I left disappointed and I know this is not my to go to place for a relaxing quality breakfast!

I had never tried this place simply because it is always packed on a Sunday morning. This Sunday was no exception. We arrived at 1230 pm and did not get a table until 1:15pm. Our waitress was not the friendliest and had zero customer service. The food was really good but not enough to stand the weak customer service and long wait. We ordered pancakes with blueberry fruit on top, these were great and my favorite part of the meal. We also ordered chicken fried steak that came with grits, biscuits, gravy and eggs. Ive only had grits one other time and really enjoy the texture. This plate was really good and I definitely recommend it. The weakest plate would have to be the meat sampler plate that my mom ordered. It was okay and not much meat. The prices are reasonable and its a decent place to have breakfast.
