Denny’s

I’ve been here before and service was good. But today I came in nobody noticed me I had asked if I was supposed to sit myself. When the manager set me up a table no one notice for like 10 minutes so I left. Bad customer service.

I’m a big fan of Denny’s and it’s a great place for a late night snack/​dinner (Sorry IHOP). Both Denny’s and IHOP are open 24 hours but Denny’s has a lot more variety and options as compared to the latter. They have all the breakfast favorites such as pancakes, omelettes, skillets, etc. However, they also have a wide variety of lunch options and «FIT FARE» meals (healthier options) like salmon, veggie options, tilapia, and salads. They also offer many more desserts such as banana splits, chocolate lava cakes, caramel apple crisps, etc.
On Christmas night this year, after a movie we were looking for a place that was open to eat and luckily we found a Denny’s nearby. It wasn’t nearly as busy as IHOP across the street so this was a plus. This location was clean and the service was prompt. I decided to try out the «Cinnamon Pancake Breakfast». It’s essentially two huge pancakes topped with cinnamon sauce + cream cheese icing (served with two eggs, hash browns, plus choice of bacon or two sausage links). This was an excellent choice for those who love flavorful pancakes and the traditional breakfast sides! I’d definitely get it again if there wasn’t so many things on the menu that I have yet to try.
All in all, this Denny’s location’s food and service are on par with any other location. The service was prompt and efficient even though it was Christmas Day (God Bless).

The service was excellent.
The food was excellent.
I was seated immediately. I ordered the sirlion with squash and chedder mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked as I asked. Not overcooked at all.
Chedder mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes with shredded cheese on top. Still good.
There was a balloon making clown and santa in the restaurant wandering around. They went to the tables with children.
I’ll come again.

Great service! They quickly seated us and took our drink orders quickly and soon after we ordered. Our waiter kept our drinks filled and food came out quickly. Food was great and customer service was excellent! Our waiter’s name was Kevin. Very nice! Thank you!

Good was great, customer service was great too BUT the only thing I just don’t like is that waiters will wear their aprons dirty, I know they deal with food all day but I just couldn’t stop looking at the huge stain…

This location is very clean & has delicious food! This is my second time here in a week & it hasn’t disappointed on either visit. I ordered the French Toast slam & substituted my eggs for cheese grits. My friend ordered a Grand Slam with cheese eggs & sausage. And my mentee ordered the Reindeer pancakes from the kids menu. We all enjoyed our meals & everyone left happy plates (meaning empty plates) :-).
This location definitely ranks far above the one I went to in Dallas last week! Restrooms are clean, restaurant is clean, great service & food tastes fresh & comes out looking great.

GREAT SERVICE!!! I come here often the ladies here are really nice and know the menu! Foods always great, I try to get something different everytime. Come and eat here!

I usually don’t write reviews this long but today was just ridiculous!
First we arrived at this Denny’s at about 10:30 and waited ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes to be seated. When we finally did get called to be seated the table wasn’t even clean or ready. The seats were dirty so I had to clean them.
Then the waitress comes over and asked if we had seen cash on the table (her tip from a previous costumer) so I said «no» and she walked away. She didn’t come back until 15minutes later to take our DRINK order, by that time we were already to order our food. We didn’t get our food until 12:00pm.
When we got our food everything was okay except my food, of course. My hash brown and eggs were super oily and the portion of my eggs was super small like a kids plate. My bacon was super burnt and lastly I had a piece of broccoli inside my blueberry pancake.
The waitress never came to check on us or gave us any extra napkins. The whole place was dirty and especially the restroom. There was a whole lot of people waiting to be seated but no body seemed to care since there were so many tables empty but dirty.
this place lacked management to the fullest. This is a holiday weekend you should have more structure and staff to be able to handle the work load. Unfortunately I will never be coming back to this Denny’s.

It took almost 20 minutes to get our drinks and its been 35 minutes and we are still waiting for our food. Worst service!

This place is great! There is a lady that we usually get, LaKietha, she is amazing! She is sweet, friendly, and the most down-​to-​earth person. I highly highly recommend requesting her! :) The service was outstanding! The food was great. This is far by most the greatest Denny’s I have been to!

Coffee …old tasting
Empty sugar and sweetener holder
Slow coffee refills
Hash browns … Undercooked
Grits. Runny gummy yuck!
Banana bread French toast … Delicious!

& this is why I always prefer IHOP. The service was horrible, waited about thirty minutes to be seated, finally get seated and wait another what seems like an hour for our food. Our waitress seemed to not give a care in the world, coffee, juices & drinks all gone, refill? Pffttt yea right, the food was NASTY to say the least, pancakes were chewy & hard, eggs were cold, just absolutely the worst!!!

We frequent this location about once a week. Service is always great and so is the food. Denny’s does a great all around job at this location. I normally get an All American Slam– Three scrambled eggs with Cheddar cheese, two bacon strips and two sausage links, plus hash browns and a piece of toast. I also order a side of French toast and coffee. Denny’s in general can be hit and miss, but this location has always hit it out of the park with me and my family.

Food was excellent, HOWEVER, the service was poor. I came in during a slow period, around 3pm and wasn’t greeted by a host. After watching the waitress play on their cell phones for a couple of minutes in the back, one finally noticed me and seated me. There was a total of 2 other people in the restaurant yet my waitress still seemed to get my order wrong. It was corrected quickly. The food was good, cooked quickly. Seems that there just need to be higher standards for the front of the house staff.

It’s Denny’s. It’s quick and delicious. Don’t get their iced coffee. It’s pretty much crème with a little bit of coffee.

Good place to grab a great breakfast! Love coming here since it’s close to home. Service is friendly and fast.
Food is served hot & to order. The decaf coffee needs to be hot and fresh. It was warm, but not hot.
This Denny’s is a really friendly place. They make you feel comfortable when you’re there.
Besides the warm coffee, this Denny’s has my recommendation for 2^nd’s.

Denny’s is a great place to eat for lazy Sunday mornings when I’m craving french toast, bacon and coffee. It’s also a good option for late night breakfast cravings.
THIS Denny’s is so good that there’s a Denny’s right across from us, but it’s dirty, so we drive all the way to Pearland.
The service is good. It’s clean. And the price isn’t bad either.

I’ve really not ever had a problem with any Denny’s but I’m particular about where it’s located.
I had two eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. The HBs have always been one of my favorite things about Denny’s. They did not fail to satisfy here, either. My eggs over medium were good, the toast, well it’s cheap bread. The coffee was okay enough to drink more than one cup and the waitress brought half and half to our table. Not little tiny packets that squirt all over when you try to open the container, either. The bacon was very thin but it was okay. I’ve never liked the sausage links here, but some people like them. I took a bite. The taste is fine but it’s the texture of the sausage that I don’t care for.
This diner was very clean, the waitress didn’t know what a basted egg was but we educated her. All staff appeared to know what they were doing and the diner hummed like a well oiled machine. The manager greeted us, the cashier was friendly, it seemed to be a happy place to work. I was impressed, for a Denny’s.
Oh, we had a pancake too. It was a pancake.

This is great place for a late night bite! I was craving some food after eating dinner too early. I basically just looked up some ²⁴⁄₇ places, and decided on Denny’s since it was close by. I think the workers here are so sweet! They’re so nice, and they all call me «sweetie» hahaha.
I had the half order of nachos, which btw, is HUGE. I kind of want to see what a full order is. I couldn’t even finish the half order. The nachos were very good! It had all the right stuff and it was hot and fresh! I had some ice coffee with my nachos, but the coffee was more cold water rather than coffee. But, I mean it’s denny’s! For a 2 a.m. snack, I think this was pretty good.
