I don’t like this location. They act like they don’t want to give you enough greens, dressing etc… I have been to several locations in the Houston area and I have never been told I can’t have 2 different dressings(I like to mix dressings) or it will be extra charge… really? I will not be patronizing this Salata location. #disappointed

Let me start by saying I LOVE salata. I’ve been to different locations and it’s the best place ever. So when I found out they were opening a location close to my apartment I was ecstatic. Well when I came in to THIS salata it was at 7:00 and I get off of work at 6:30 so I was very excited to get some dinner. First of all they did not have many options and they did not want to take out anything that was not already out.(Which I understand if it was maybe 30 minutes till closing) but they didn’t close until 9! So I asked the girl if they had anymore of the ingredients that were missing. She gave me the worst attitude ever. I also asked if I could try the herb marinated chicken(because I typically get the spicy chipotle chicken and they did not have any) she started putting it on my salad and I said«no, can I try it» and she rolled her eyes and gave me a piece of chicken. After that I ended up just getting a vegan salad. You know I LOVE salata but it’s a franchise so they had the same food in every location, therefore it’s up to the employees to give you a good experience. I would give it five stars just for the food.

Small portions for a high price. Not the friendliest of staff. Run out of certain choices often… $ 8 for a basic salad without a drink or protein. Won’t be back. Sweet tomatoes is a much better value in my opinion.

Salads and wraps are very tasty. The southwest tortilla is the best. Speedy service. Clean restaurant. The only complaint I have is they will charge you for extra dressing(anything more than a scoop).

If you are looking for a excellent salad with quick service and very fresh produce then Salata is your spot. I like the way you’re able to create your own salad as you move through the line you pick and choose which type of lettuce you want whether it’s spinach Romain a mixed all the different types of vegetables along with whatever type of dressing you would like and then whether you would like a soup or a piece of bread to go along with that in addition what size salad you would like either a regular or a large and let me tell you the regular does the job. They do offer protein as well I typically get the pesto chicken simply because of the flavor however they will let you taste anything you like to make sure it is something that you were going to enjoy. So all in all I would have to say if you’re looking for an excellent salad Salata is a can’t miss !

There are some things men just shouldn’t do. Show emotion. Wear pink. Listen to Justin Bieber. Eat salads. Who am I kidding? Justin Bieber has had some bangers lately and I’m starting to become a belieber. I reached a new personal low by eating a salad on a Saturday night but hey there’s always a first for everything. But I digress. Salata is basically your Subway of salads. Everything is customizable i.e. your lettuce, your veggies, your fruit, your dressing, and other add-ons. A regular salad is $ 8 I believe and there’s an extra charge for protein. I went with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, pineapple, mandarin oranges, bacon, croutons, and mango dressing. All the dressing is homemade and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. In addition to salad, they have some other options including wraps, bread, and soup. They also have a nice selection of tea and lemonade. A nice and healthy meal that’s a nice change of pace in the land of BBQ, steaks, and Tex-Mex. Saw some standup Friday night and the comedian made fun of the guy in the front row who was eating a Caesar salad. But I trust y’all will be a lot more gentle since we’re all Unilocalers here right?!

I went here today because I heard sooo many great things about this place, so tonight was my first time. Let me just begin to tell you how this visit went. I walked in to get a salad to-go around 8:48 pm and the store closed at 9! I was never greeted upon my entry of the restaurant. So it’s my turn to begin ordering and the teenager who was making my salad did not seem interested in making salads at all! The first thing I noticed was the lack of salad left. I asked her if they had more she said no we’re closing in like five minutes. I calmly corrected her to inform her they had about ten minutes left. Next, I begin filling in my salad bowl with toppings. Then I notice a group of five people walk in behind me and what does Salata do? They pull out fresh salad! I leave it alone since I knew it was getting late. I then ask the teenager helping me if I could have some bread to go along with my salad! She looks at her manager from a far to see if she’s looking and grabs my bread WITHHERBAREHANDS! I don’t know this young lady and and she assumed I wouldn’t mind I guess from my friendliness. After I asked her if she touched with her bare hands she acted surprised that I cared she touched with her bare hands. At this point I’m just ready to leave, oh and I never received a receipt. The salad was good but will not be going back for the service and uncleanliness of the worker who served me. Pros: fresh ingredients Fast Salad was good Cons: READTHEREVIEWABOVE!

Used to be a fan of this chain, but that all changed because of this Pearland location. Food is good and fresh but not sure why they make a big deal about charging a dollar for extra dressing here. It’s not like that at the Westheimer location where the staff is a LOT more friendly. Used to dine at this location frequently, haven’t been back since my last visit a few weeks ago. I simply asked for a little extra of the fat free mango dressing and you would have thought I was robbing the place. I was scolded and told there would be a dollar charge. The employee then made a big deal about putting an extra plastic cup(empty) to alert the cashier I got more dressing. If I am going to pay 10 bucks for a salad, i don’t expect to be scolded. I also don’t understand why they would want to lose a customer over a few cents. I emailed their corporate office about the rudeness and their reply was simply«sorry…but that’s our policy.» They obviously don’t care. I’ve decided to take my business to one of the MANY other restaurant locations in Pearland who serve salads and DON’T scold their customers. If they continue to run this place like this, they won’t be around much longer. Too much FRIENDLIER competition in the area.

Wow, the food here is so good. The variety is fantastic. Their soup is very good too. The only issue I have is the price. My neighbor and I shared a small salad, each got a cup of soup and a drink. It was $ 22! That is just crazy, in my opinion. The staff is amazing! Everyone is super nice and very friendly. It was a lovely, light and healthy meal. It felt really good to make such a good food choice.

Great alternative to the same old fast food lunch stops. Awesome variety of salad add ons. After they are finished loading your salad bowl, the small actually winds up being a large salad!

I love Salata and would love to recommend this location, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment compared to other locations. I placed a pick up order and when I got home, found that my salad had the wrong dressing as well as about half my requested toppings missing. Plus, I paid $ 1 extra for avocado, which turned out to be about 2 wimpy slices. Sad since I live about 1 mile away from here, but it looks like I won’t be frequenting this place as much as I had hoped.

If it weren’t for the high prices I would give Salata 5 stars. The smoked turkey is so good in each salad combo I’ve tried! The shrimp are flavorful also. They have a nice selection and the service is pretty good. Solid place for a salad if you don’t mind paying upwards of $ 12 for a salad.

If I could give them more stars I would! Ladies and gentlemen, FINALLY A PLACEWHERETHEYARENTSTINGYWITHTHEIRTOPPINGS!!! number one in my book. I usually get a small salad, but they’re always so strict about how much to put in, like subway. It’s my first time at this location, so I ordered a regular salad. And I was surprised how much they put in it. Unlike the Sugar land location, they don’t count their shrimp: 1,2,3,4 ugh. The place is so bright and just enough space! It’s set up so beautifully, I’m absolutely in love with this place! The staff is so so friendly. Always coming back here!

Salad bar was fine — lots of choices. Everything seemed fresh. Can get pricey when you add protein(starts at $ 2 and goes up), avocado, etc. Pita chips were stale

Today was the grand opening! So it was really packed, but i see why, they’re really good! $ 7 for a small salad, and $ 8 for like a medium i guess. its a line and you choose what you want on it from cheese, to sundried tomatoes. Salmon to Mango Peach Vinagrette dressing. I love all of the options. Will be back soon!

It’s Salata, what could go wrong? Basically you’ve got your choice of greens, a timid veggies, some random fruits, throw in some cheese & selection of nuts. Then you get to douse it in your choice of dressing. My favorite is 1 scoop of the lemon vinaigrette(LV) &1 scoop of the sun dried tomato. It sounds weird but it’s delicious. But I learned today that 1 scoop of the LV is 300 calories!!! You also get your choice of protein & this was the first I saw Asian BBQ Chicken. You can add avocado or artichokes & toss in those croutons! They didn’t offer me bread though but I heard them offer it to the woman behind me. It’s cool. I got the LV. You can also get the bacon from the soup bar thrown in at no charge.

This place is delicious! I have been anticipating their opening for quite some time. Needless to say me and my best friend both love this place and will be coming here quite often. If you’re not familiar with this chain, they sell salads and wraps. You walk in and tell them which you want. Then they start with what kind of lettuce mixes you want. You are able to mix the lettuces. They place it in a bowl. Next you choose as many toppings as you would like. There are several toppings. All ranging from fruit, veggies, cheeses, beans, and nuts. All of this goes in your salad for one set cost. Then for an added cost you have different proteins to choose from(if you decide to put meat in it, because you can do veggie option). Then they have a few additional items you can add in toppings wise for extra cost as well i.e. Avacado slices. Their dressings are all so yummy and homemade. I believe they’re available for purchase to take home. THEONLY thing I want them to do differently is toast the bread they give you at the end. It looks tasty, but needs to be toasted as an option, so I can spread my melted butter on it! Lol So this is the sum up of this place. I hope you love it as much as my friend and I do. Maybe I’ll see you there!
