Aisha’s Salon & Spa

Compared to other salon’s in Little India, Aisha’s is just okay. It is often crowded and very hard to get an appointment with your preferred beautician. The prices are reasonable, but you can find many other cheaper salons. For example, threading at Aisha’s is $ 7, while threading at Eva’s is only $ 4.
While their threading services are good, my biggest complaint is with their waxing. They use roller wax, which is never hot enough and is not very strong. This leads to very sloppy waxing with lots of hair left over, especially on the legs. I have had much better waxing elsewhere. Furthermore the rooms for waxing look old, and are not very clean.

Moved to Houston in Dec 2013 from MS. Had the hardest time finding someone to tame my long thick brows! I would go home about every 2 – 3 months just to get my brows done by my lady! I tried three diff places in Houston and they all took off extremely too much hair or ruined my arch! Finally a coworker refered me to Aisha’s (SONYA) this was last year around summer 2015! (Yes it took me two years to find someone I’m very picky about my brows)! Sonya is the best!!! Friendly, clean, great service! Cheap price for excellent threading! $ 8 you can’t beat that!

I have been going to this salon for over two years now. I personally have always been satisfied with how my eyebrows look after getting them threaded. I have super thick eyebrows naturally so I am very picky about who I go to to get them shaped nicely. I used to get them done by a lady named Saba but unfortunately she no longer works there. I now get my eyebrows threaded by either Neelu or Reina only; they do an excellent job every time. ;)
Note: At this location, I have only gotten my eyebrows threaded. I have never tried any of their special facial deals, hair color/​cut services, eyebrow waxing, etc.

Usually a good service, for eyebrow wax. But on Saturdays it is so crowded and the wait is very long. Usually you just have to sit and wait around as women pile in, staring at one another like cows in a herd, then the desk clerk calls you to go back by memory (which is usually pretty good). But once you go back, results are usually consistent and good. It’s a threading center, but they wax well and with clean habits (don’t pull wax from large jar multiple times, instead they take from a tiny cup). I’ll probably be back, trying to avoid wax rush hour.

I had my brows threaded for the first time today and also received a hair cut. Nasreen did a fabulous job on both. I will be back for sure.

Shitty service and shitty people working here. They talk about customers in Urdu and are very rude. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an employee smiling here. They are condescending to customers and don’t do a great job with eyebrows. Save your money and go somewhere else.

When this location first opened it was amazing. I quickly became a regular here but then I’m not sure that happened. They don’t ask you what you want to do to your eyebrows. They just do whatever they want to do. I’ve been to other Aisha’s locations and their service is way better than this particular location i.e. Cypress or Sugarland. Another thing is that I’ve gone in twice and the same thing has happened. The receptionist will ask me what I want, I sit down and wait, other people come in and they get to go before me. They don’t have appointments. It’s not even the same receptionist. I give up on this location. There’s nothing they can possibly do to get me back as a client.

Have been coming here for about a year now to get my eyebrows done, but lately they seem to be out of it. Very rushed, I had a couple of cuts and it burned so bad afterwards, more than usual. The lady was very rough, I started tearing up and she took a Kleenex and wiped my eyes so hard that she smeared all of my mascara! The whole time I was so scared that she would get my eyelashes because of how rough she was threading. Definitely will not be coming back and will start looking for other eyebrow threading places around pearland.

Definitely will be coming back, walking in I was nervous it was going to be a long wait considering how packed it was but they moved very quickly I was in and out within 15 minutes! I sat with Bina & she will now be my go to lady! She did an awesome job & quick!

This place seems like a brow place, I unfortunately went for my hair. I will not return.

No complaints from me here. The staff are very good at their jobs. But threading the lip is highly painful lol just a personal side note, however waxing is offered if you prefer it.

I come here all the time to get my eyebrows done, and overall they do an amazing job with them.
But I’ve come here around 4 to 5 times to get my hair done because they’re reasonably cheap and it always turns out to be a NIGHTMARE.
I kept coming here for my hair thinking it was going to get better, but no. If anything, it got worse.
I showed my hair lady several pictures as examples of how I wanted my hair colored AND cut.
For the cut, she continuously cuts it at least three inches more than what I ask her and gives me the straight across hair cut with no layers that look like a children’s hair cut. If you don’t want your hair to look like a triangle, don’t come here.
For the color, she always ends up with blonde highlights that don’t blend with my DARK BROWN hair. The first few times I came here I was okay with it because when she saw that I was upset at how orange-​y blonde they were she immediately put toner… But this is nearly the 6^th time I’ve been here… and this ALWAYS happens.
My shirt always ends up soaking wet from when they wash my hair, and my face always ends up with hair dye and red blotchiness.
I have given them several chances to «get better», but enough is enough.
My hair is medium length, and I got high lights done… All for $ 140. Not cheap, and not worth it.

I’ve gotten my eyebrows threaded here regularly for a few years now. I’ve only ever had one girl mess up my brows which is pretty good since I don’t have a regular lady and just kind of roll the dice for who’s available when I show up. If you’re in a hurry, I’d call in advance to see what the wait is because it does tend to get crowded some parts of the day. I’ve gotten my hair cut here once and it was okay but kind of pricey for me.

Aisha’s is a good, reasonably priced spot for eyebrow threading in the Pearland area. I usually go to a place in Sugar Land, but my schedule doesn’t always allow me to drive out there.
I have found that Leila is my favorite at this location. I don’t always catch her when I walk in. It is a good idea to make an appointment if you know you’re going to go. There can be a wait at times, and they’ll take appointments back before a walk-​in.

The receptionist which is the first person you see and speak to never has a friendly and welcoming face. She is often times preoccupied doing other things, such as talking on her personal cell phone, that she forgets what appropriate customer service is. While waiting I’ve noticed that she treats customers differently and acts annoyed by a few.
The only thing that keeps me from still coming is the wonderful eyebrow threading by Sara and it’s convenient location to my job and where I live.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE!!! Came in last Monday to get my eye brows threaded and they informed me that they do root touch ups for $ 35. Obviously that’s a steal, so I made an appointment for Monday. I arrived 10 minutes early and was told I had to wait 10 minutes until they opened. I thought that was rude but I’m pretty chill so I was fine. Then I’m informed that the lady that was supposed to do my hair is sick and they «tried to call me». Ummmmmm, no you didn’t. They bring in Reina. Reina comes in and says, «what do you want». I say, «I just need my roots touched up». Her answer «do you want it to match»! RED FLAG. Obviously I want it to match!!! I have bleach blonde hair so I just needed my roots touched up where the new growth is coming in. In conclusion, I left very angry, with ORANGE roots, my scalp burning, and a very ashy blonde bottom half from the toner that she used.

Been here five times and my eyebrow shape has gone to shit. I figured I would give the salon time in hopes of finding someone who could shape them. I miss Renal from the Hilcroft location. She was amazing, but that location is too far out of my way. This one is right by my job.
To other reviewers: please keep suggesting threaders. I’m not ready to give up on the location because it’s too convienent. I just pray I still have eyebrows by the time I find a skilled technician! HELP!!!

I only go to this Aisha’s because it the one that’s nearest to my house. But with that convenience in mind, this Aisha’s isn’t very convenient to go to at all.
The front desk receptionist who is always the first one you see is never friendly and always has a sour look on her face. She talks crap about customers who don’t speak Urdu to other co-​workers which does not reflect professionalism.
They’ve forgotten me as a customer and taken people who come to the salon after me first (and they don’t have an appointment) so I find that rude and very inconsiderate of my time.
Apart from everything else, I like getting my eyebrows threaded by Ms. Shirley. She is the only reason I ever go back to this salon and deal with the nonsense there.

I’ve been coming to Aisha’s for several months now and I love the service. I highly recommend booking an appointment in advance, otherwise be prepared to wait (particularly on the weekend).
Sonya is my personal favorite. She has reshaped my eyebrows, as well as my girlfriend’s, into the perfect shape. She’s very friendly, patient and listens to what you want. The threading typically lasts for 2 ½ weeks. The pricing is reasonable as well, $ 16 for two people.

This place is amazing! I’ve been so scared to thread my eyebrows for a few years I got them done when I was in Vegas for the first time and got them done and they looked great so whenever I got back I decided to try at another place in pearland the lady took a chunk out of my eyebrow and I had a wedding to go to that same week: O so I was a bit skeptical about getting my eyebrows threaded again but the lady that threaded my eyebrows here was pretty amazing it took her about 5 minutes and I was done! Her name is Hinei and I will be going to her many more times! :D
