I didn’t actually like my nails from here. I did french tip for my brother’s wedding here and they didn’t do such a nice job. The place was small and the service was fast, nice people, but I did not like the way the french tips looked. I wanted it to look professionally done, as if people would notice I went to the salon, but it didn’t look as professional or elegant as I wanted it to look. It’s also so hard to find parking in Peekskill area. Not a good place if you want a lot of customers.

FAITHFULCUSTOMERFORYEARS — I’ve been going to this nail salon for years now. I tried a couple of the other local places and decided this was my favorite. It is a family owned business(husband, wife, and occasionally their grown children help out) and they are all very sweet people. There prices are very reasonable. I usually run between $ 35-$ 50(including the tip) and I usually get an acrylic fill w/unique design on all fingers, pedicure, & eye brow wax. They have a variety of other services including gel, special mani-pedis & massages. My absolute favorite aspect of this salon is that they will try anything to make you happy. I love to design my own nail designs. I always bring them new projects to attempt, and they are always happy to oblige. I’ve suggested many of my friends & co-workers try this place out. I’ve even brought my family there to check it out! The décor and ambiance could definitely use some improvement but once you get past the exterior, you won’t be disappointed!

Manicure and pedicure for $ 20 sounded too good to be true, plus it’s down the street from Birdsall so you can get a beer while your nails still dry. Why is it too good to be true? I’ve seen nicer unfurnished basements. The salon seemed kind of dingy — the tables didn’t seem clean, the carpets seemed old, the walls could have used some fresh paint. My nail technician was nice and did an okay job, although my polish chipped pretty quickly. The cuticle scissors were probably dull because now my cuticles won’t stop peeling and are kind of frayed. I did like that he(another male nail technician!) threw in a free shoulder massage at the end. Maybe I’ll be back if I’m in the mood for a bargain mani/pedi.
