Great selection of wine and spirits. Fairway is my go to for wine in my area. For our holiday or major events we always head here since the layout is great and their team seems knowledgable great pairings for food. Cheers!

This has been my go-​to spot lately for wine and liquor. Friendly staff. They do their job and ask for ID at the registers, but those who remember you don’t ask for it. I point this out because another liquor store in Mount Vernon, which shall remain nameless and located on Prospect Avenue, used to ask me every single time for ID, once when I got to the counter and then again if I was paying with plastic. No comment.

Customer service is amazing. The manager and assistant manager went out of their way to order miniature champagne bottles for a party that I was hosting. Also beat competitor prices as well. If you can’t find it just ask. Don’t have it? No worries they will order it for you.

Every time, I come here they never have my Sweet Red Wine. If you ask anyone walking the floor, you get the same answer «oh, we are out» or «the truck hasn’t come in.» Now they just say «hmm, I don’t know.»

They always have tastings and the vendors, as well as the staff are knowledgeable about the products they carry so if you’re looking for something specific or even have a general idea of what you want, they can easily help to guide you to the item or suggest something that fits your criteria.
It’s never too busy except during the holidays but they do well to keep all the cashiers open so that it doesn’t get too congested. The carry an extensive wine and spirits selection and the priced are not bad at all. You would think that they would try and take advantage of their location to try and gouge the customer but in fact, they are reasonably priced and won’t break the bank.

Pretty good selection of wines. I deducted one star because you can fall in love with a certain type of wine and they would only have it for a limited of time. It maybe the same brand but not the specific one. This has occurred to me on several occasions.

I just started shopping here for wine instead of driving to, New Rochelle this is so much closer. You get a very warm welcome from the staff when entering. It’s nice and big with pretty wooden floors, you don’t have to worry about knocking down any bottles. The staff helps you find what your looking for. I was impressed a pretty good selection of wines and spirits and the prices are very reasonable. I even found my Father’s favorite vodka, he was getting on the highway driving all the way to Pelham Bay, now he can drive a few minutes for his vodka and get his $ 7.00 rebate.

Great selection for the area. Prices are hit or miss… they always have lots of stuff on sale for great prices, but their regular prices on most stuff is a little higher than other stores.
Free wine tastings on occasion are cool, I’ve done a few and the staff doing them is always very knowledgeable.

This Fairway space is in the busy Pelham Manor shopping center area which can be a nightmare during peak hours especially the wknds. But Fairway being the awesome grocery store it is supplements us customers with an awesome wines store next door. This location has a vast selection of wines from different countries and regions within the United States. As soon as i walked in the staff seemed very pleasant and asked if i needed help, i asked for Moscato D’Asti and i was showed all of them, including the employees personal favorites which I got one of each. Quick and painless experience with a cool staff. I was a very satisfied customer.
p. s.- the only thing that sucks here is the parking but then again just park away from everyone else and do some walking in won’t be that bad

Having checked out the attached wine & spirits shop in Yonkers attached to the Stew Leonard’s there, we were curious to see how they compared. I prefer Fairway.
We did not Need Anything but I am magnetically drawn to a nice displays of adult beverages and it never hurts to just look, does it? Luckily most of what caught my eye we already have or did have but there were a couple of bottles of interest that well, I just had to bring home. One of which was a bottle of Eagle Rare 10 year old single barrel Bourbon for The L. in appreciation of yet another amazing house project he recently completed. With the first snow flakes tumbling from the sky as I type a nice glass of Bourbon will certainly hit the spot!
With a whole range of items and price points, one is certain to find something one can just not live without. Like two more bottles of some offbeat wineries’ reds. To go with the yummies that we got next door.
