Awesome seafood restaurant in the Westchester NY area. Great food and service. Whenever we have a special event or near the area we will come here for dinner and drinks. The quality of the food and the taste are right up there with Manhattan’s best.

Amazing evening!!! My Partner and I came here for dinner on a Friday night and lets just say from the food to the waiters everything was excellent. Our waiter and bus boy was very personable and friendly. It made the entire dinner that much more enjoyable. The food did take a little longer than expected to arrive but it was well worth it(Fresh and Delicious). We will surely return!!!

I wish I could give 2 separate reviews of this place. If I were to rate the food and ONLY the food, I would give it 5 stars. Service and hospitality 1 star. So I averaged the rating at 3 stars. Who knew calamari and crab cakes, which you can get ANYWHERE, would be such a highlight?! The kitchen was happy to accommodate changes. Our entrees were absolute PERFECTION. It was priced fairly for the serving sizes and quality. Service was a little slow and inattentive on beverage refills and our waiter had to be constantly reminded that when we wanted more coffee, we ALSO needed more milk. He had ZERO personality, which is fine, I don’t want him to sit down and dine with us, but he seemed annoyed when we would catch him walking by and ask for the refills. Where it went HORRIBLY wrong was at dessert. We were a few bites into sharing some banana coconut type cake, that was to DIE for, when my friend pulled an inch size square of hard plastic out of his mouth. It was probably the plastic form that came around the cake before it was served. It was sharp and cut the inside of his mouth. The busboy walked by immediately and VERY apologetic took it to the waiter. Awhile went by and the waiter never came by our table. We asked the busboy, who was kind enough to apologize again, to get the manager. 5 minutes later, nobody had come to visit the table. My friend then got up and walked over to whom he presumed was the manager and got a very lukewarm response. Definitely NOT how you handle something like this. Especially given, he had CUT the inside of his mouth and was BLEEDING. We weren’t looking for anything free, but just an acknowledgement and sincere apology. They did comp our ice coffees from the check, instead of the dessert… go figure… which was a nice gesture. However, I definitely would have preferred NOTHING taken off the check and a nice visit to our table from whomever was in charge. The only visit we got was from the waiter to say«Hey I heard what happened, the beverages are on us.» I understand that mistakes/accidents happen, but the way you address the incident is EVERYTHING. I was a little sad we couldn’t finish that heavenly dessert. I’m even MORE sad because the food was really quite delicious, but unfortunately, the experience and how the situation was handled will prevent me from returning.

Tried café regatta for the first time last month. It has a very nice atmosphere, quick walk from the train. The food was good. The appetizers were tasty. I had the lobster ravioli. I needed to put extra Parmesan on it. My husband liked his dish more than I did. We plan to go back for brunch and dinner again.

The venue itself is nice. It’s got a nautical theme which, by the name of the restaurant, is no shocking eureka moment. 4 of us went on a Saturday night. It was fairly empty at 7pm when we arrived but I have to say the service was rather slow. It was 30 minutes till our order was taken. The food was… good; presented nicely but not spectacular by any stretch. Ed asked for his steak to be cooked med rare. It was served(5 minutes after the other 3 meals) very rare. We eventually flagged down the waiter who took it back and returned it to the table well done. Oops. Stick with fish perhaps. Overall I’d say it was an ok place but then again if I want excellent fish I’ll go with Eastchester Fish Gourmet.

This is the greatest place on earth. I don’t know the owner and have no dog in the fight. I’ve eaten there 12 times in the past year and have never had a bad meal. Get anything. You can’t go wrong. Ahi tuna… great. Spring roll… sure! Pork chop and mashed potatoes… amazing. God’s honest truth I’d rather go to Regatta than any restaurant on the planet. Ask Vincent to make you an Old Fashioned. It’s pure ecstasy. No crappy muddled fruit cocktail!!! It’s the bomb!

We went to this classy, cozy restaurant for brunch last weekend and had a lovely experience. We shared yummy muscles in white wine sauce for our appy. For entrees, I had eggs benedict with lobster. My husband had a steak selection. Both were delicious. A big plus, from my point of view, was that the eggs in the Benedict were poached perfectly… a rarity. Our service person(Jesse) was funny, friendly and perfectly professional. We would definitely recommend this little gem and are looking forward to trying it for dinner.

My experience was lack luster. Although the waiter was jovial but obnoxious. He accused me of eating half of the lobster I ordered before returning it because the lobster was tough. I think the lobster was parboiled, frozen and then heated up. Not a good taste experience. The best thing about Café Regatta is the Bellini. My dining partners pancakes were burnt and tasteless.

My review is really all about the service. We arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday, and it was pretty busy. It took our server 10 minutes to take our drink order then another 15 minutes to take our food order. We then waited another 32 minutes before I asked where our apps were. We ordered two cold apps. A burrata and a octopus salad. He showed up with the apps 1 minute later which proved that our server wasn’t paying attention to our table times, and the salads were ready the whole time. The food was great. That is why I gave the 3 stars. They really have to re-train the staff on proper service.

Came here for brunch and it was fantastic! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. For appetizers we ordered the crab cakes which were surprisingly delicious! For my entrée I had the Belgian waffle which came with fresh fruit and whipped cream and it was amazing! My boyfriend had the eggplant with pasta and we thought it was fantastic! I overall enjoyed the food and the service was very quick! I would come back again! Oh our waitress she was beyond amazing and attentive!

Very cozy restaurant, with food that dances on the pallate, it is pretty pricey but hasn’t disappointed. I would say there is a little break in service as the server wasn’t going to take our order, as insisted drinks have to be ordered first AND separately, and then took eons to return to take our order. not too quick to come out of the kitchen either. so the food and décor shines. I would probably remove the large TV’s over the bar or covered them during dinner service as that always is a distraction in small intimate setting such as this. The food items: buratta. quite delicious sautéed spinach — no complaints but no mind blown either lobster ravioli — muscles — really great size for the price actually — i was most pleased with this dish albeit not enough bread served, small piece of flat bread me and my friend had to split, rather she kept and I took the left over dinner roll. scallops — zero complaints — wonderful dish.

Came with girlfriend. Appetizer was delicious both lobster risotto and lobster croquette special. Entrees, sirloin was very juicy and seafood fettuccine just yum. Dessert is meant for two and the brownie sundae is excellent. Also, excellent service and nice décor as well

My review on this places isn’t about the food, I’m actually pleased with the food, it was delicious!!! I had the Buratta as an appetizer, amazing, pan roasted scallops delish delish! And brownie with gelato just ended my day with a smile on my face! But because of the lack of service I’m giving a 2 star! I felt unattended, perhaps a bit discriminated! Coulda have been the reason of that lack of service the fact I used a groupon? Hmmm not so sure what to say about that how we the staff and management needs to work on their customer service skills! The same way all of them are working for their money I work for mine too. I’m a manager and I know when theres lack of service! Also I recommend to pay attention to the bill I was overcharged!

Although I have frequented Café Regatta foe numerous dinners and cocktails, I had never been for brunch. I had brunch today with three friends to kickoff the holidays and it was great. We had purchased the Groupon deal and it was worth it. The coffee was fresh and the bloody Mary had just the right amount of kick to it. We split two appetizers, the caprese and Flatbread and each had our own entrees. I chose the eggs Benedict and definitely made the right choice. The side of field greens and home fries were also a nice touch. Don’t miss out on this great restaurant.

I’m not sure why this place has so many bad reviews because we both had a wonderful time. I went here when I was in New York. I found out about this place through Groupon and got the deal. The seafood was super fresh. Loved the oysters we ordered. For the entrée, I ordered the sea scallops and it came with fingerling potatoes and sauteed spinach. Phenomenal. The presentation was elegant and the food tasted even more amazing.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I did not even sit down in the place. Walked in for brunch and was passed by 2 waiters who ignored us. We stood there while ¾ of the place was empty. There was a hostess desk with no hostess. Finally the bus boy came over and asked If I had a reservation. I said no. He said give me a min and called over the bartender. At that point I just walked out and went next door to J café.

Umm lol… This place was awful. Do not buy the groupon. Or go at all. We walked in and they were empty. I think a tumble weed rolled past my foot. They treated us condescendingly. For appetizers we ordered a plate combo of Jumbo shrimp, clams, muscles, and squid. There was ONE shrimp. NO squid, and TWO clams. It was just a pile of muscles. The muscles were delicious but it was not what we ordered. The waiter didn’t come to the table once to ask how the food was. Another couple came into the restaurant and we watched the waiter go to them a couple times and ask how they were and how the food was. I guess they didn’t have a groupon. Our groupon offered a glass of wine for up to $ 14 each. Wines by the glass were offered from $ 7 to $ 10 tops. Our groupon also offered an entrée for up to $ 32 each. Entrees were priced up to $ 26(just one thing, the steak.). When we asked about this they said, «We changed the menu» — O.K. well thats not what I bought. You would think they would offer some alterations to the groupon guidelines then like 2, $ 7 glasses for each. Or SOME gesture. NOPE lol. I guess they reallyyy don’t like repeat business here. Do yourself a favor and stay away. You’d be doing me a favor too by not giving this buisness anymore encouragement. P. S. The bus boy was SO sweet and helpful/attentive. He seemed like he was embarrassed for the waiters. We slipped him extra $$$ as a personal tip.

As soon as I walked into the door I had a bad feeling! The restaurant was very dark and dismal and had dried dead flowers in vases everywhere. The menu looked promising with a nice array of cuisine from Italian to seafood to steaks and chops. We ordered the Burrata appetizer which was beautifully displayed with fresh basil and roasted peppers, tomatoes. The cheese was nice and creamy and we were very happy at this point. We asked the waiter if the Swordfish Livonese over broccoli rabe and the Rigatoni Norma with roasted eggplant, basil, mozzarella cheese and San Marzano tomatoes were good, he assured us they were! We should have stopped at the appetizer, because what followed was a train wreck! The pasta of the Rigatoni Norma was under cooked making it unpleasantly chewy. The eggplant, tomatoes and cheese atop was just a mushy mess. The sauce was not good at all! My swordfish was cut way to thick and was raw in the middle, plus it had a very pungent fish taste and smell! The broccoli rabe was over cooked and was a slimy mess! This is the first time in Tasty ladies history that we left our plates almost full, paid the bill and walked out! We went to eat dinner down the block where we knew it would be good! This restaurant needs to just close down, there was just too much wrong.
