A small hidden gem in Pembroke Pines. We were in the mood for Italian food and found this restaurant on Unilocal, which had good reviews. The food was wonderful and flavorful. The service was warm and friendly. Prices are completely reasonable for the quality of the food and portion size. Since then, we have been back more than three times, and the food is consistently good. Highly recommended!

The garlic bread was phenomenal as a starter!(Comes automatically) Some of the best bread I’ve yet to devour! So we order the chicken Parmesan, and the classic lasagna, great serving size, not many places we eat at and we have to take home the leftovers. Servers were nice, didn’t mind we walked in at 945 when they close at 10pm. Still had a positive attitude! So all in all I’m taking my Italian dad to see how authentic Italian this place is! Should have a great outcome!

What amazing service! My fiancée and I went for dinner at this charming little restaurant and boy we’re we impressed! The pizza was delicious! We ordered L’indecisa which is half pizza and half calzone. After that great pizza we decided to splurge and order the nutella pizza. Ok, you MUST order this! It was soooooooo good! Worth the trip if you’re in the mood for authentic Italian food.

I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. My first experience here was absolutely wonderful. It is an intimate restaurant, not too big. Evan was my server and he was very knowledgeable of the menu and extremely attentive and polite. I ordered one of the specials, braised short ribs with Parmesan risotto, and it was to die for! The short ribs were so tender and the risotto was so tasty! I am literally at a loss for words to describe how amazing my meal was. The chef came out to check on us as well as the other guests throughout the night. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into his food. You won’t regret dining here!

Nice little place I discovered thanks to a friend of minds who lives near by. The Vodka pasta was really good and we had some stuffed pasta similar to Ravioli but with shredded pork inside, really good but a bit greasy. Prices are really good

My wife and I checked this place out for dinner one one and was not disappointed. It has the feel of a small restaurant in Italy. The server was extremely friendly and provided outstanding service. The food was made fresh to order and they tell you this when you first sit down so you know it will take a little longer than most chain restaurants. We enjoyed our meal here and have recommended it to other people. If you are looking for authentic Italian food look no further.

This is my «Honest Opinion» and not slander based upon my recent visit to said establishment WHATANAMAZINGGOODITALIANCAFE. I tried it a week ago and was so impressed, I have been back again. Being half Italian, I am kinda picky about eating Italian food out since no one cooks Italian as good as my Mom. I have to say I was very impressed. The food is all cooked from scratch and just tastes delicious. They do not rush you and it is a pleasant dinning experience. It is a small place, so I highly recommend calling ahead because a lot of people know about this place and it can be a wait to get seated. I just have one little thing that bothers me. I have never been to an Italian restaurant that does not give you a choice of a cup of soup or a small salad with a full meal entry. I wish they would, because it just completes the whole dinning experience. I have to say, they came in to a close second compared to my Mom’s Italian cooking.

Off the beaten path in an unassuming shopping center off Taft Street is Brusketta. The parking is directly in front and free. The small intimacy of the restaurant attracts locals and is charming due to the staff’s consistency in making you feel welcome. The portions are larger in size so that’s a perk if you have a large appetite. I would like to see more a beer selection other than light options. My favorite part of the meal was the macchiato coffee and the tiramisu. Worth saving room for dessert. Once again I’d like to point out the warmth and genuine charm that the staff has which is worth returning to.

Nice neighborhood find. Fresh and top notch seafood poultry… etc. You want fast food cancer causing chain places this is not it. Professional staff and top notch chef!!! Nice Italian crowd most of the time. You can count on a good meal homemade soups. Just a great meal for a fair price.

Pleasantly surprised by this family styled Italian restaurant off Flamingo and Taft. From the outside I would’ve NEVER thought about going here but I trust Unilocal reviews as my compass. Taking a group of 7, I called ahead to make sure they had seating available for us. The restaurant is a small and humble spot with a decent amount of tables of 4. The staff is friendly and authentically Italian so automatically I knew the food would be great. Having been to Italy a few times I ordered my fave dish, the mushroom calzone(don’t judge me) it was baked to perfection stuffed with ricotta, spinach and mushrooms with a deliciously fresh tomato sauce on the side for dipping. It was almost identical to the ones I ate in Italy, fantastic! The rest of the group ordered the antipasti appetizer, calamari, veal and chicken parmigiana, they all raved about the flavors and how perfectly cooked everything was. Gotta give it to them for bringing Italy to Florida, it’s pretty amazing!

Small and very friendly. It’s really hard to read the menu tho so I used my Unilocal app to choose the food: p the waitress was an older gentlemen claims that the pictures weren’t from their restaurant but it was… Lol Overly — food was OK. Recommend the Penne vodka with Chicken.

Deliciosa la comida, el vino ni hablar, todo súper casero, la pasta la preparan ellos mismos, no sabia ni que pedir por que todo se ve delicioso, es un lugar muy acogedor

Visited from Miami for business and stopped here for some lunch. Loved the atmosphere, everything was clean, great service, great food. This place definitely outdoes Olive Garden. Will definitely be coming here again. Thumbs up from me!

This is one of my favorite places to eat by far. I really thought I had written a review a while back but upon looking it up today I noticed I haven’t so this review is long over due. I’ve been here several times and each time was superb. Evan is the best host ever always friendly and smiling and keeps us coming back. Salud, Evan! If your craving good Italian food this is your place. The food is fresh and authentic. It is small and I have not been there during the weekends so I assume you should call ahead to see how your wait time is going to be. Delicious great tasting food that will have you coming back. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed. *Casoncelli(braised veal ravioli) I highly recommend. *Short rib risotto is a must try.

Disappointed. I had high expectations due to some of the good reviews, but nope it’s no where near good! It’s meh ok at best, but I didn’t taste any authentic in their dishes. It’s a small cozy restaurant with a nice variety menu. I always emphasis how important bread is at an Italian restaurant and Brusketta does not meet those expectations. I went with the Casoncelli(homemade stuffed ravioli with braised veal in a butter sage Parmesan cheese and crispy pancetta sauce) it was not what I expected. For starters it was my first time having veal, I wasn’t impressed. A very odd flavor and the raviolis were soaked in a very oily sauce making them very heavy. I knew I wouldn’t return after my first bite. I ended my lunch with a panna cotta which to my surprise did not taste fresh. Very disappointing. The service was friendly nothing special and the prices were fair but I won’t return.

I heard about this mom and pop Italian place just over the county line from my friends Allen and Michael and finally had a chance to stop by after visiting a friend in the nearby hospital. Wanting to make the most of my culinary excursion, I ate like a «maiale». A hole in the wall at the corner of a West Broward strip mall, you have to know about it to find. sort of like a speakeasy for great Italian food. The place was kind of empty last night since it was freezing(read 55 degrees) out, but their rich lentil soup with vegetables mixed in thawed me right out! Of course, I had my staple caprese salad with prosciutto(my Italian food control group). The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the mozzarella creamy and prosciutto salty. It passed the test! Next up was the lasagna. The chef — who by the way actually spoke Italian(yeah for authenticity) prepared it as requested with extra marinara sauce and with a little bit of heat(maybe the oregano?). The portion was generous, but I still had room for their rich, creamy tiramisu dessert shot with mixed in chocolate chips. Service was great; as I mentioned my order was customized with sauce, and my waiter patient in helping me with all of the dishes I ordered. I was a very happy Lechon at the end of my meal. Brusketta is definitely worth a trip past the county line!

We have found our perfect Italian restaurant. This place is all about the food! We tried Brusketta today because of the reviews on Unilocal, and wow, I have to agree on the 5 star rating. This place is something you would never suspect as being this good. It’s located in a Pembroke Pines strip mall on Taft street just east of Flamingo. If I worked in the area, I am sure I would weigh 800 pounds because I would be here every day for lunch! We started with the Caesar Salad, and right off the bat, we were in love with Brusketta. The croutons were the most unique tasting croutons I have ever head. They were kind of soft in the middle, and the taste made us both smile. The dressing was beyond delicious. The waiter brought us a basket of bread and a cup of olive oil and that was fantastic also. Hubby ordered the Mare with Fettucini. That dish was packed with clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari. I sampled a bit and sauce was delectable. I ordered the Casoncelli, which was meat ravioli in a pancetta sauce, out of this world. If they didn’t have the music playing, all you would have heard from our table was«Mmmmm…Oh…Mmmmmm…Oh!» It was that good. Beyond the food, some things I noticed, but are not a problem for us. The restaurant is very small and has a casual feel(perfect for us). The beer selection is limited. One family had kids and they were pretty active, but this was in the afternoon on a Sunday, so I can’t say how dinner will go here. If you’re on a budget, and want a nice meal out, give Brusketta a try. The entrees were very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the food. Even if you’re not on a budget, and you love delicious authentic Italian food, give Brusketta a try. You won’t be disappointed.
