— CLOSED — Just passed back twice this week during my lunch break. Earlier in the week there was a sign saying that they were gone for the week, and most recently there was a «Space for Leasing» sign. So sad! I truly enjoyed this place. Another loss for the Gluten-Free Unilocalers out there :(

This is my second time here. I really enjoyed the food. The pink sauce on the rigatoni was fantastic. The house wine was very good and decently priced. It’s a shame that every time I pass by I see empty tables. Today was no different. The service could’ve been better considering I was the only customer in the restaurant. Also the chef and one of the workers were having a very heated and loud argument in the back. Not very professional in my opinion. I’m giving it four stars because I can see the potential in this place. It’s a great location, fantastic concept, and the interior is very chic. If they just polished a few things it would make a great place to grab a bite.

This place is MAGIC. We had the pipasalad to start and it was delightful(mixed greens, candied pecans, Gorgonzola, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and pears). This place is basically a build-your-own pasta place. Pick your pasta, sauce, and protein. I had the gnocchi with pink sauce and chicken, and my sister had the lobster ravioli with pink sauce and mozzarella. Both were one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had. They have whole wheat and gluten free options if you have dietary restrictions. It’s also pretty decently priced for the amount and quality that you get. Come here, get comfy, and eat to your heart’s content.(The booths are soft so you could totally take a nap afterwards) Also, the spaghetti bolognese will rock your socks off

Pretty good Italian, for semi cheap prices! We came here on our way to a party we had limited time, and needed something fast and good. It’s like Italian panera. Within 15 minutes all five of us had our meals. The ravioli is way to expensive for the small portion. I would not consider the ravioli a filling portion. I had the angel hair pasta with the sweet onion and spicy bacon tomato sauce. I also added sausage. for the added charge the sausage didn’t add much to the dish but it had a good flavor. The sauce it’s self was MUYBIEN. I’d come again, if I could afford the carbs that week.

We went back in December 2014. The pink sauce is no longer pink. It’s orange and the flavor is completely different. They no longer serve the focaccia bread when you sit down. The normally bubbly waitress was serious. What happened Pipalato??? I liked you better before :-(

I stopped by here for a quick lunch. I thought it was going to be similar to Italio as in fast food Italian chain– but this place cannot compare, Pipalato has way better quality. I like the concept of customizing your own meal– you choose the noodles, sauce, and meats. I ordered the lobster ravioli with pink sauce and topped it with meatballs. The picture doesn’t do it justice– the pink sauce was so creamy and delicious. I loved that I could taste big lobster chunks in my ravioli. I have to admit I ate my food way too fast– it was too good. They also gave me hot, buttery garlic bread with olive oil while I waited– which only took 5 minutes to come out. Definitely coming back again!

The last time I gave to this place 5 stars but I change my review because the food it’s complete different on the flavor and quality. First of all, they brought us pieces of old bread, we couldn’t believe that because they before served a delicious focaccia and the waitress explain us that they don’t serve focaccia any more. Second, the lasagna doesn’t has the same flavor and also they served us the food in less than 4 minutes, we were impressed how they cooked it so quickly… Which means that the food was not freshly made, but just heated for our order. The lasagna was not even hot, maybe even a little cold inside. We used to come regularly because this place was good, but we are no going to come back any more.

This is such a shame and even hard for me, I really liked this place, specially for the quality of the food, but I guess it’s all changed now. The quality of the staff has dropped terribly. The ambience, specially the music is completely off and like totally unsupervised which kills the experience of the visit besides on what you are eating. Before we used to see either the owner and/or manager in charge being always around and making sure everything is working properly, now it seems a little abandoned on that perspective, just in hands of a low quality personal, even on the weekends. Now I’ll start with the food, which was actually their strongest part, now might be their weakest, hope the owners read this review to overcome their troubles. Before they used to serve a delicious and beautifully presented focaccia while you would wait for your food. Now they will just through you in a dish a couple of old baguette slices with an empty plastic cup on a side terribly presented and even a little hard to chew because it wasn’t fresh. I ordered a home made lasagna that before it was literally to die for, mainly because it was one of the only few places that would give you an actually fresh made, home made real lasagna. This time I got an almost cold, probably frozen, not fresh made lasagna. We made our order and less than 5 minutes later we got our ordered served which would be great for a fast food place, but not for a restaurant were you are looking for quality well made food. This actually proved our thoughts about the lasagna being just heated for the order. To go even beyond you could easily see how it was out of shape and some how like compressed or compacted, maybe from the fridge container it was stuck in. Then when I got to the middle of it it was almost cold which made me even more disappointed of all the situation. Now, flavor wise, it was just a lasagna, like the one you could get anywhere, not like before that for me it was actually the best lasagna you could get. Presentation was completely off too, so can’t say anything good about this visit and to top it off when they asked if we wanted Parmesan cheese we got a fridge cold that couldn’t be served because it was all compacted to one big cheese piece in a little rusted container. Sadly, all this might be just enough to not want to come back anymore. Hope they get back to being a great Italian food place like before.

First time here and I was very surprised not only by the service but with the food too. This place is also very trendy and clean. I got the penne Alfredo chicken pasta and it was better than most fine dining restaurants I’ve been to. Will definitely come back.

Came here by chance because the one day I want to go to 100 Montaditos on a Wednesday there’s a HUGE rain storm, electricity goes out, and their ovens won’t work… Which lead my friend and I to check out Pipalato, becoming a happy accident. The way this restaurant works is that you create your own pasta dish. First you choose the the noodles, then the pasta sauce, then what kind of meat/cheese you want. Everything has it’s own price and all adds up in the end, but a pasta meal will cost between $ 10 – 15. After you pick what you want you go up to the cash register, order your food, then they bring it to your table when it’s ready. I ordered penne pasta in vodka sauce with chicken and my friend ordered spinach ravioli in Alfredo sauce with chicken, both super delicious. They also serve an assortment of alcohol, I got moscato and my friend got proseco. The staff was wonderful, very attentive. I also absolutely love the décor! Mainly the pictures/paintings they have on the walls, they have different pastas and the origins of their name with cute, quirky, creative drawings. Can’t wait to come back again to try different pasta combinations.

Despite being a counter service restaurant, Pipalato offered quality food that I was not expecting to find in a place like this. I had the Lasagna della casa(Homemade). It was a good size, and had a delightful sauce that wasn’t really flavorful, but excelled for not being way too sweet. The pasta was just right. It was a nice dish, but could have improved by having more meat. My man had the Chicken Parmesan. I actually liked his meal better, but frankly our two dishes were quite similar and taste wise were almost the same. For dessert we had the Tiramisu. It was a good dessert, soft cookies and not too sweet. The only downside of the entire experience was the service. It was atrocious and almost nonexistent. Although you order at the counter, everything else is brought out to you at the table and it took forever to get water and our drinks, and then the food took ages so that took away from the experience.

There’s only 1 thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars and to most it’s one of the most important things… The Bread. The bread is meh, not what I expected from an Italian restaurant. Now, having said that everything else was excellent! A Living Social purchase brought me here and I’m glad I bought it. Our server Daryl was extremely polite and professional. My father had the Penne Pasta with Marinara and Sausage. I made a last decision call and went with the Chicken Parm with REAL mash potatoes(insanely good) We also sampled some meatballs which were tasty and definitely homemade. I have never had chicken parm with mash, but I’m glad I did. For dessert we ordered a Tartufo and a Cannoli with the victory clearly in the Tartufo’s corner. I highly recommend Pipalto if you want fresh, authentic, Italian food! With friendly customer service and a great quiet environment. Try the Chicken Parm you’ll thank me later!

Another incredible meal made by Real Italians! :-) Tastes exactly like the food I had in Italy years ago. The ability to mix and match to custom create your personalized dish is awesome. That’s why my Husband and I come about once a week!

Great food + service + ambiance. This place is a very promising business in the Pembroke Pines area. I was extremely satisfied with my Rigatoni Bolognese. Amazing! Will come back definitely!

I have stopped by here a few times. I really like this place as a quick grab a bite to eat and the quality is good. It is a nicely decorated place, prices are affordable and service is attentive. I’ve had the spinach ravioli with pink sauce and I thought it was great. I know there are some places with amazing pink sauce that could out shine the sauce here but I give this high stars for location, pricing and the quality. Plus, they are pretty quick.

Pretty good place for anyone that wants their pasta fix. It’s a unique way of ordering… Kinda like subway type ordering but it’s fun. One thing that I didn’t know was that their penne does not come in whole wheat. I ordered a whole wheat penne with pink sauce and chicken. Didn’t know whole wheat penne didn’t exist until I got spaghetti at the table. Other than that the service is friendly and the taste is top notch.

Was there for dinner last night with my wife, she was craving for some spaghetti ravioli. As all the Unilocaler do, I Unilocaled, and found this place. Had good review, so we went and check it out. As soon as I enter, I was greeted with a warm smile, because I was a first timer, so they kindly when over the menu with me, explaining to me what should I do, what should be done first what kind of sauce is good, she recommended me the pink sauce she said that is the best sauce in the house, which I ended up having. Other thing I like about this restaurant is the deco, open ceiling with wood frame coming from top to the bottom, with some display of pasta. Long booth seat against the wall on both size, with TV on each side of the wall. The open kitchen add an another star to this review, you can see the chef preparing your food in front of you. the kitchen is very clean so is the dining room. Great job, Great food and Great price. Will definitely be back for sure, since it is only five minute drive from my house.

Great new spot in Pembroke Pines. Found out about it in the new business section of my handy Unilocal app and who doesn’t like a good pasta? My sister and I hope in the car and head over. The décor is very trendy and clean the staff are very friendly and eager to answer any questions that you might have. With the amount of pastas, sauces, and proteins that they have to choose from you have plenty of combinations to choose from. I had the spinach stuffed ravioli with the alfredo sauce and my sister had the wheat penne with marinara sauce and chicken. Both were very good and the portions are large so we couldn’t even think about trying out one of the deserts regardless of how tempting they were. The food is made to order, place is trendy and clean, and the staff are happy and friendly. I deffinelty recomend trying out hte place if your in the area.

The concept of this place is great as long as you know how to follow three easy steps: choose your pasta, pick a sauce and add your protein. Fortunately for me, I showed up on a Sunday where every entrée order received a free glass of wine. I decided to have a glass of Moscato to go along with my self-created spinach ravioli with pink sauce and chicken. The portion was big and the taste was delicious. While you wait for your meal, some focaccia bread is brought to the table. The bread was good, but I wish I would’ve gotten a little more. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the service is quick. The food took maybe 15 minutes to come out after placing my order and walking to my table with my order number. This definitely beats the hassle of having to go to a full-service restaurant where you have to wait to be seated and your order takes more than 20 minutes to come out. Pipalato is casual, fast and straightforward. Perfect place to go when you’re craving Italian but don’t want to deal with an actual restaurant.
