I’ve been taking piano lessons at 3D-Guitar for about 7-months. Being an older student, I was nervous about what to expect and whether I could learn a new instrument at this age. However, the staff here made me feel completely at home. My teacher Pete Smith — who is also the owner — is a fantastic! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has developed a very effective and customized approach to teaching his students. I believe that I’m learning more quickly and with a deeper level of understanding than I would if I took lessons somewhere else. And I’m having fun! The lessons are really inexpensive, only $ 18. The other benefit to taking lessons here is that they’re flexible on scheduling, which is really important to me as I try to fit lessons in around my work hours. They also helped me to select a keyboard to purchase for practicing at home, even checking around to try and get me a better price. In addition to piano they also teach guitar and drums(and probably some other instruments I’m not aware of). The clientele here is primarily children and teenagers and the parents I’ve chatted with say they’re really happy here, too. It’s a small shop with an intimate feel and is in a convenient location on the corner of routes 53 and 139. In addition to lessons, they also sell instruments and related gear.
