Awesome donuts and a super-friendly and accommodating staff. I’ve got to remove one star, though, because the iced coffee was watered-down and tasted nothing like coffee, and more like wet cardboard. :(

I’m still in shock as to how rudely myself and my 2 young boys were treated in this store. I unload my 3 and 4 year old as I promised them«big» donuts. It was the end of the day and they were obviously running around getting ready for closing, which I took into consideration as the young blonde girl behind the counter ran around without acknowledging us. 2 more people entered the store and were in line behind us now. A second employee, an older woman with short dark hair, appeared at the registered and never even looked at me, like I didn’t exist standing DIRECTLY in front of her with 2 boys repeating saying«the sprinkle ones momma»…she literally ignored me moved on to take the order of the guy next to me. I WASFORCEDTOSAYTHAT I WASNEXTANDSHESTILLBARELYDIDMORETHANMERELYGLANCEATMEWITHOUTAPOLOGY. I was so floored that I walked right out, and this woman obviously could have cared less at her ignorance. NEVEREVERAGAIN. Not only to disrespect me, but to do it to me with my 2 young kids… tasteless

This is within walking distance of my new place, and I couldnt be any happier. The donuts are so fresh, and huge! They also have great coffee, and breakfast sandwiches that are enormous as well. I ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant, and there were two sausage patties on it! The croissant was huge. I ended up splitting it with my boyfriend. Service is friendly too. Cant wait to go back and try more flavors of coffee.

This is my go-to on the go breakfast stop. First of all, their coffees are amazing! The beans are flavored so they don’t just pour syrup into regular coffee. The toasted almond flavor is a must try. They also have the best breakfast sandwiches around. The donuts are good — honestly, they are too big for me so I don’t order them often but when I do they are great. I knocked off one star for consistency — some days are better than others — but I wouldn’t go anywhere else(unless I didn’t want to get out of the car!)

Omg the best donuts. Especially the honey dipped jelly. The coconut jelly sticks are a close second. They have a lot of different flavors too– different than dunks, anyway. A little pricier, but worth it once in a while. I’m so glad they are on the other side of town or I’d be 500 lbs!

SERIOUSLY what a donut should be. You’d NEVER go back to the tiny c**p from that chain-store :) :)

Yummmmmm. Really awesome donuts here, and they are HUGE. Theres a really big selection of sweets, too. The coffee is good, but I come here mainly for the donuts and pastries. The only thing that bugs me about this place is the size. I feel like a sardine in here. It’s always packed. Other than that, no complaints.

I died the other day. I saw a bright white light drawing me towards an entrance. Passing through, I was instantly ridiculed, poked and prodded over indecisions and taunted for most regretful choices. The cackling never stopped, and soon my loved ones joined in the hellacious game, jostling my broken character and rubbing salt in the wound by earning favor with my tormentors. Abandon hope — it’s all one could do. Then laughter erupted, a free donut delivered and the most gooey, meat-laden sausage, egg and cheese croissant passed my lips. Just another day at The Coffee Shack. Donuts are the best I’ve had anywhere. Dense when cakey; doughy and pliable without the cloying toothache of other hand-cut risers when yeasty — they’re simply meltaway fantastic. Pay a buck a piece or land a true baker’s dozen for just over $ 11. If you’re feeling particularly vulnerable, do as the weak of gusto do and balk at the Meat Lover’s breakfast ‘wich(ova, queso and every part of every cloven barnyard critter imaginable) in favor of a $ 4 single meat sando. You’ll get teased by the ladies behind the counter, but only because they’re arguably the coolest donut divas you’ve ever encountered. Grandest of the the grand honey dipped chocolate and jelly-so-filled-it-spills-out-everywhere earn The Coffee Shack 4.5 stars with that loving dialogue and the staff’s dunk tank demeanor bump it up to a solid five.

I came here this morning for a Hazelnut Iced Coffee and I was very impressed. A very flavorful coffee that did not taste like artificial spray. The prices here don’t seem bad for the level of quality. Staff here were super-friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning for a handmade donut or two.

They have awesome donuts here but we only go here when my godchild sleeps over. It’s quite a treat to eat these donuts. When I get one, I never finish it b/c they are huge and my brain does not compute all the calories it contains. It’s a super small place, more of just a pick up and take out store. My favorite donut is the lemon cruller… oh ya, it’s good.

I really wanted to like these oversized handmade donuts but they were just too dry and heavy to my liking. Eating one sat very heavy in my stomach for the rest of the morning. Gotten ½ dozen @ $ 5.95(bit pricey) — honey dipped, honey dipped w/jelly, boston cream, lemon filled. Love the glaze since it wasn’t sticky like the other places. But unfortunately, one bite and you bit into a very dried inside… more bready like than etheral melt in your mouth donut that I was expecting. Ladies working at the counter were great and friendly. Might got back to give the muffins a try.

HOMEMADEDONUTS!!! Oh God, and they are heavenly. Thick, cakey, moist, gluttonous… Have enjoyed a few flavors thus far… the Marble Cruller, German Chocolate, Lemon-filled(all delicious!), but the dozen + varieties all really look enticing.(I was overwhelmed & impressed by the vast choices in such a tiny shop.) These are really tasty, absolutely delicious, completely decadent, lovingly-created handmade donuts. This little shop also offers egg sandwiches, a couple dozen flavors of hot & iced coffee(also delish!), muffins… A few notes… Get here EARLY, as the donuts disappear as the early afternoon rolls in. And as they are homemade, they taste the freshest and most luscious in the morning. Oh, and as others have mentioned, CASHONLY. I love you, Coffee Shack!

Did you hear about this place?! Have you gone to the little coffee place down the street? Has anyone else just fallen in love with a shack? That was me the morning I wondered into The Coffee Shack before work. Great coffee at wonderful prices with super friendly employees. CASHONLY!!! Which is why I don’t get to go here as often as I’d like. For such a small place, I’m very impressed with the amount of flavored coffees. Muffins are good too. With Dunkies jumping the shark as soon as it went national and the fleeting fad of Marylous, I’m pumped to have a great alternative down the street from work.

I don’t know what to say is the best first, the coffee or the donuts? First I guess is the coffee, they got voted the best for their coffee(say– no-more). Iced or hot, I like it every time. Second are the donuts, big, yummy, and the best around. Great varieties, I am having a hard time deciding my favorite. I used to go to the big DD chain, but now I just use their bathrooms.

The sign outside boasts«Hand-cut Donuts,» and they are not for the faint of heart or stomach. These are large and thick cakey donuts that will wreck your appetite for the rest of the day, they are so filling – and set you off on a sugar binge to boot because you can’t stop eating them. This is the sibling store to the Coffee Shack in Green Harbor, and sometimes reinforcements are brought in, such as the popular honey-dipped jelly donuts. The filled donuts are airy and light, whether they are covered in powdered sugar, honey-dipped or sugar-raised. The hand-cut are dense, such as the chocolate(glazed, butternut or coconut-covered). The lady who works in the afternoon is a sweetheart and a total enabler(in a good way); be nice to her and she’ll be nice back. They close at 3, and the later you get there, the narrower your choices. Cash only. Watch out for the Whoopie Pie donuts, which are either Whoopie Pie filling packed into a powdered sugar donut, or a chocolate cake donut cut in half, filled, and topped with dark chocolate glaze.
