Easy to find. Parking hard with truck and trailer. Friendly service and CLEAN bathrooms. I am a total coffee snob… So as for the coffee it was ok. I always get iced mochas and can easily tell if the shots are either burnt or not pulled to their full potential. In this case the shots were NOT burnt but it definitely could have tasted better. I was excited that they roast their own beans too. I would stop again on the way through and give them another«shot»!

We’re not coffee drinkers, but we stopped in to Buckin’ Bean because we saw on Unilocal that they have baked goods and great light meals for lunch in addition to excellent coffee. They were a little bit hard to spot at first because they’re located in a residential area. Also, there’s no parking on the street in front, but they do have a handy parking lot behind their shop. I had the cranberry turkey sandwich on a croissant and my friend had a bowl of minestrone soup. It was a perfect lunch for us. A clean, tidy dining area and the friendly folks working there made us feel welcome too. This was a pleasant stop during our visit to Pendleton.

Cute place that’s a must visit when driving through! The family that owns this coffee shop roasts their own beans and know how to do so without creating bitter beans. I had an Americano which came so scalding that the taste of the glue or lining used in the cup was sure to leak into my coffee had I not had a travel mug in the car from yesterday. In the time it took to get to the car and transfer a small amount of taste transfer had occurred, but it still drinkable. Hubby’s cappuccino was a reasonable temperature, so clearly they know not to scald the milk. The coffee itself tastes great and it feels good to support a small local family. Stop here and then enjoy the park across the street.

Always good to see a shop roasting with a Diedrich Roaster. Besides being made in the US, it means the coffee isn’t bitter. Breakfast croissant was flaky, light, with the right combination of bacon, eggs, and cheese. Delightful, friendly employees. Great location. Winston has a good thing going here. I look for special coffee places everywhere I travel. This goes right up at the top of the list.

Very cute, family run coffee shop in neighborhood setting. Great leather couches and chairs. Historic family pictures and large antique table. Owner and barista super nice. Owner grew up here. Playground and park across the street.

Stopped in with my mom for an afternoon caffeine fix. Unfortunately, the hype was way better than the coffee itself. The drip(which is what my mother had) wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t that great either. I thought, for roasting their own beans, it would be WAY better. I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha, my standard, but only had a few sips. Way too sweet and really no body. Unfortunately, Starbucks wins out!

If you have kids and or a dog go here! The coffee is very good but the food was surprisingly good too! There is an incredible playground across the street and it’s a residential neighborhood so parking is easy breezy. Someone ordered the quiche and said it was the best he ever had.

All I wanted was coffee and a quick breakfast sandwich and this was the only place open in town at 6am. Coffee was good and everything homemade. Small little quaint spot with only one person working when I was there. Limited breakfast stuff, but pretty good.

Very good food. Great coffee. Really nice people. Open Sunday and easy to find with Garmin. We had the quiche special, spinach salad and hot turkey sanwhich. Very hot and fresh. Then we got americanos to go. Simple clean décor and clean restroom! We will go back for sure.

We were staying down the street at the Pendleton House B&B and were walking back from town when we encountered a familiar smell, roasting coffee. We followed our nose up the street to this wonderful little coffee shop and surprised the owner who had just stepped outside. Chatted with him for a minute and then let him get back to work. My wife and I stopped by the next day and enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee. We like to hunt out the best places to enjoy a cup wherever we go and this is one place we will definitely stop up the next time we’re out this way. The shop is a bit off the beaten path but it is well worth going a bit out of your way to stop here. A comfortable atmosphere and friendly barrista.

Great atmosphere(country kitchen chic(simple wood tables & chairs and a red leather couch), food, and free wifi!!! The prices on the food for not including a side with the meal was a bit over priced to me, but the FRESH made Spinach Salad I ordered was delicious!!! I did not try their coffee and they roast their own beans so I have yet to have an opinion on that. I did have an Italian Soda that was okay, but for my taste preferences & having specified my drink order it could have used more breve. This was a way better alternative then having to drive back to I-84 to the next Pendleton exit to hit the SBUX. Check out the Buckin’ Bean!!!
