Consistently better than the drive-thru in lawrencville. I live in Pennington so the Pennington Starbucks makes more sense. However, I’ve now tried the drive-thru, on more than one occasion, since it’s opened and I have had to return their drinks thee times! I have never returned a drink in Pennington– I know what I’m getting when I order.

Weird staff. These people know how to take their sweet time. I’ve been here few times and unfortunately it’s never a good experience. Star bucks is surely going down hill.

I love this Starbucks. Get Danielle to make your drink. She’s great. They’ve remodeled the place and it looks wonderful. Good place to relax.

Despite my best attempts to drink coffee at locally-owned shops, trips to Starbucks are simply inevitable. And despite Briarcliff Manor being my home away from home for the last 15 years, I really don’t know the area that well. So the road often leads here. It’s not so bad. The place is generally clean. The service friendly and attentive. My drink orders are always made correctly. And an occasional sampling of their food products generally proves favorable. When I need my caffeine fix and I’m in the area, this Starbucks location gets the job done.

This is a perfectly fine Starbucks. The baristas usually get things right, they are funny and knowledgable. I wouldn’t say they are quick, but they’re not slow either. You can usually get a table pretty easily on the weekdays. Good luck on a weekend.

This place is hit or miss most of the time. I usually order espresso or iced coffee, but the other day I made the mistake of buying a mini java chip frappuccino. it was just plain awful. tastes like nothingness and all of it was just the undrinkable foamy stuff. also I’ve noticed that 80% of the time the staff is either rude or just blatantly annoyed to be there.

10:46 am Friday 12/12/2014 I was just told after waiting in a line that Starbucks doesn’t have any regular coffee No coffee? No coffee? No coffee? No coffee?

This is the only coffee shop in the area, and so I’m forced to go here when I come home to visit. I live in Philadelphia, which is over populated with Starbucks lovers; I’ve been to many Starbucks there and never seen lines as long as in Pennington. The service is very slow and inefficient. It has really made me dread coming here and recently I just all out avoid it.

Is this the worst starbucks in the world? Possibly. The people working there are very nice but the clientele may be amongst the worst people in america. Upper middle class c-words. This starbucks is like the play ‘no exit’, except that in the play the people were lucky enough to have death already come for them. Unfortunately there is almost no where else to go for coffee in Pennington, do yourself a serious/healthy favor and go to princeton or lambertville.

One of my favorite Starbucks because of it’s proximity to I95 it’s a convenient stop for me on my way to the gym, the supermarket, heading to Philadelphia or down to Route 1. It’s a company-owned location. While the lines can grow quite long at lunch time, there is a sufficient number of baristas to process the customers quickly. For the most part, with the inside and outside tables, there is sufficient seating to accommodate customer most of the time. While it’s common for people to spend a considerable amount of time at Starbucks studying or doing out-of-office work, given its proximity to The College of NJ, occasionally it’s hard to make way to a seat with all of the dangling laptop cords stretched across the area between rows of tables near the perimeter. They have another issue with a woman who sits in one of the two leather chairs at lunch time sleeping with the newspaper in her lap. When she finally wakes up to use the restroom, there are food crumbs all over the chair, which she doesn’t clean off before she finally goes home. On the upside, the baristas are professional, helpful, cheery and accurate.

I really don’t understand why people hate this sbux so much. I think it’s pretty decent. I mean it gets crazy busy in the mornings but that’s expected.

This Starbucks is a disgrace to the company. Sadly it is the only Starbucks between work and school, and I have gambled by coming here in the name of caffeine needed to get through a three-hour grad class. If you’re desperate, and willing to take your chances, you can potentially look forward to improperly made drinks, extra calories, poor service, the feeling you just wasted your money, and, if you’re lucky, the opportunity to hone your self-advocacy skills. My most recent visits included the following experiences: A venti Frappuccino made without whatever makes it sweet. When questioned, the barista shrugged, rolled his eyes, and remade the drink only when directly asked to do so. A grande Carmel Frappucchino light that was made regular and included some kind of crunchy topping that’s not in the recipe for a regular or light Carmel Frappucchino. I wanted a 120 calorie drink. Thanks for the extra 500. Thankfully, I’m not diabetic, or I’d probably be in life-threatening shock. On my most recent visit, I ordered a grande Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. My drink was actually fine. The girl immediately after me got the same thing in a venti. Our drinks came onto the counter at the same time. Mine was dark pink with berries floating in it, as it should be. The venti was a pale yellowish pink with– I kid you not– ONE berry. When the girl with the venti asked why her’s didn’t look like mine, the male barista gave the following incoherent response: «I asked her [points to female barista] for the scoop, but she didn’t give it to me.» As though this somehow explains why or how a $ 5.00 drink with a very specific recipe was made incorrectly. I had to get to class, so I didn’t see the rest of the interaction, but I hope the drink was fixed. If I had time, I would have politely shared the following: This is Starbucks. The company you work for, and who graciously gives benefits to its employees, I might add, has made a name for itself on high-quality signature drinks. Stop trying to be an innovator. Make the drinks according to the recipes. Be mindful of the fact that people who come in are paying a premium for both an experience, and more importantly, for a high quality and specific drink, that at $ 5.00 should be made consistently every time.

This is a very standard Starbucks, nothing glaring in either direction. Depending on the time of day, it can get very busy so beware. On a nice day, people also like to linger outside for some reason.

I have to agree with the comments about the less than standard service and the wait time I experienced on both visits to this Starbucks. They seem to be flying by the seat of their pants — as if they took the customer service training manual and set it on fire rather than read it. No one really seemed happy to be there and were not really pleasant at all. They did not consistently ask for customers’ names so they called out drink names instead. The staff was not wearing name tags which I have not seen at any other Starbucks ever. And it is a very poorly laid out space and there is never enough seating. The only reason it gets two stars is because a pumpkin spice latte is still a pumpkin spice latte.

Worst Starbucks ever. Filthy. And the service is terrible. You order a Grande(medium) and get maybe half a cup’s worth. Plus the area to fix your drink is disgusting. Would it kill them to take 5 minutes and clean this place up? The attitudes of the servers/barristas suck. Generally like Starbucks. Hate this place.

Nothing terribly wrong with this place but the barista was not happy with me when I asked for more soy. Kind of an attitude because I didn’t like my coffee and I was extremely nice so I am not sure what her deal was. The girl who took my order was really nice. There is a lot of seating indoor and outdoor and bathrooms were clean! Not much else I can say about this place. If there isn’t any other on the way I have no choice but to stop here!

Great location right off of I-95 along NJ Route 31. I stop here every time I head to Jersey to see my brother or to visit my old High School buddies. And then I stop again on the way back to Maryland(OK, I could have said home, but I still think of Jersey as the home I can’t afford)!!! This is one of the largest Starbucks I’ve seen(the San Antonio one along the River Walk is Fri-ken HUGE multi-floor is the biggest I’ve seen). Lots of tables, bar stools, lots of outdoor seating, with great Free Internet that reaches out to my car across the parking lot. So you can log on, get directions, and go without going in(not that I would do that… because I was craving caffeine and needed a rest rooo… err stop). If you come here at the wrong time, then like Ryan said you’re going to wait… did I forget to mention, the place is huge!!! The staff were polite and quick… They couldn’t help that the two ladies in front of me ordered 8 flippen drinks and then had to ask what was what despite each cup having already been labeled by the cashier.
