Delicious food! I had the cinnamon roll French toast and my husband had crab carvallo with city grits. Both so good. Excellent Customer service too.

I used to eat here a few times when it first opened but I was always disappointed because my poached eggs were overcooked or the food was cold when it got to the table or what I ordered did not taste good. It’s been a few years and I’m happy to say I was happy with this visit. The service was great! I didn’t have to wait long for a table but they still offered everyone waiting free muffins. My waitress was Memory and she was very attentive. I know good food is not fast food so I didn’t mind waiting long for the food but free muffins were still offered for the wait. The pistachio muffin was good. I ordered the smoked salmon benny and I was happy with a runny yolk. The salmon and whipped cream cheese was light so I didn’t get too full from this dish. My sister ordered the lakeshore scramble and that’s a perfect scramble for me. It’s simple with just eggs, bacon, ham, onions, mushrooms, and cheese and it tastes so good! I’m willing to come back here to try the other eggs benedicts and scrambled skillets!

Good breakfast! I walked over from the Courtyard since hotel food is not usually too appetizing. I remember thinking it would not kill them to open a little earlier. 7am is already pushing it to eat and make it to a early morning meeting. Food was good. Service was really efficient. I wish I could remember the name of the server, she was really good. Russian sounding name I think, but anyways, superstar service.

One of the best breakfast places I visited while in Florida for a wedding on Valentine’s Day Weekend. It was also my first time taking my 5 month daughter to a sit down restaurant where the servers were super helpful and had a sling for her car seat. Great food and service. The beignets were amazing!

Found this place off Unilocal.I am only in Pensacola for a few weeks for training and after a lot of attempts to get great food I stumbled upon this gem! So glad I did! Went for Valentine’s Day brunch and it was just what I needed! The wait was about 50 mins but it was Valentine’s Day, I would totally do it all again for it though! It is bigger inside then it looks, so it did go by pretty fast. I got the Oscar Benedict and it was out of this world! The worst part of this experience was trying to decide what to order! The menu is packed with delicious choices which makes picking just one soooo hard! The service was excellent. We were given the option of 4 different kinds of muffins while we waited, free coffee as well. Our server was awesome too! Gave us excellent tips on the menu, food came out promptly for how busy they were as well. We even got dark chocolate covered strawberries because it was Valentine’s Day which was a nice finishing touch! I would recommend this place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch! They have a great menu and it’s not all fried and heavy! I really enjoyed this place!

I still love this place! Great food, great service, great bloody Mary’s. One of my favorites is the sweet potato pancake. Brittany took great care of us today, she was friendly and attentive. Will definitely will be back.

Delicious traditional breakfast. Seated quickly. Waitress was friendly and all food was delivered correctly. Coffee was really thin. Cinnamon bun French toast with banana’s Foster sauce was delicious. Fresh fruit was nice albeit a little underripe.

Like many reviews have said, this place can get busy on the weekend. We were some early birds so go there at 730 on a Saturday morning and thus had no issues being seated, but the place was quite crowded by the time we left. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the service was fast. Per recommendations from other Unilocalers, we started with the beignets. They were pretty good but not as good as those that I’ve been spoiled with during visits to New Orleans. Our other entrees were pretty good. I had the cajun seafood omelet. There was a good helping of shrimp and other omelet stuffings, but honestly I think it could have used a little more spice. Maybe I just like things spicy… the house hot cause is a decent compliment. My company had the salmon scramble done with egg whites. Again a nice sized portion and she seemed to enjoy it. Overall this place is pretty good and I’d probably go back. I don’t think it’s amazing like some people have claimed but definitely better than your typical IHop or typical chain breakfast joint.

Came for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. We all had mimosas, which were very crisp and refreshing. I’m not sure what brand of champagne they use but it makes a difference for taste. Each comes with a couple raspberries that offered an elegant touch. I ate the Blueberry Quinoa and Granola… It’s light and healthy and downright delicious! My mom had the veggie omelet and her bf ate the blueberry waffle, great feedback on both. When you go in, ask for Ronnie. He was awesome! I’ve lives in Pensacola for three years now and cannot believe this was my first time coming here. Definitely a great experience

Thanks Brittany! You were such a great server and very nice. Portion sizes are so big! The food is also very good. Came in for Sunday brunch and was surprised we didn’t have to wait that long for a table of 5. But even if we did they had coffee and someone handing out mini muffins :) never disappointed at another broken egg.

Not really sure how this place got such great reviews… The prices are high, the service is so-so, and the food is mediocre. If you’re looking for a great breakfast, try any awesome(non chain) restaurant like Coffee Cup(classic awesome breakfast), Ruby Slipper(New Orleans style awesomeness), or Palanzo Bistro. I have never had a great meal at Another Broke Egg… My mother-in-law got pieces of eggshell in her breakfast last time we went. Also, the coffee is never HOT it’s always that weird in between temp. Honestly, f**k this place in the egg.

This is a decent breakfast joint which will usually have a line so plan according. I mean, the line will likely go fast, but waiting in annoying in general. Again, I said decent. I don’t think this place is that good and I probably won’t come here again. It is a chain so expect a typical chain diner feel. I got some crab eggs benedict which was just alright – I wouldn’t get it unless you had strong affinity for the crab. I mean, it was good but with some hints of blandness and the presentation could have been better. I still scarfed it down because I was so hungry. There are other awesome breakfast joints in Pensacola. In general, I recommend staying away from the chain spots like this and and going to the local joints like The Ruby Slipper Café. Have a good breakfast!

While in town for work, I stumbled across Another Broken Egg Café on my way to some office visits. I checked with a local foodie source(my coworker from Pensacola sitting right next to me), and he confirmed that this was a go-to spot for breakfast. I planned it just right and made a stop here very early one weekday morning. There was a small crowd – it must have been about 7:30AM – so I got seated right away. The space was huge, very diner-like, and provided ample seating at tables, booths, or the bar. I was surprised to see a couple folks at the bar this early(it was probably just water in their cups). Anyways, as soon as I sat down, a sweet and friendly waitress came to take my order. I had peeked at some pictures on Unilocal so was already sold on the hot chocolate. It was fantastic! After a few minutes of reading through the menu, I was drawn to the Signature Benedicts. I reasoned that if they took the time to dedicate a whole section of their menu to the Eggs Benedict, I would definitely give them a try. My short week in Pensacola had taught me that their seafood dishes are amazing, so I ordered the Crabcakes Cavallo. They did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, a gentleman brought the dish to my table specifically to tell me how excited he was for me to try this dish because it was his favorite. Talk about passion for food! This was definitely not typical diner behavior. Hands down, the crabcakes were fresh and meaty(if they aren’t real crab meat, you fooled me!). The potatoes on the side were also seasoned well and baked to a crispy bite. I had to contain myself not to finish all of them. While enjoying my breakfast, the owner Linda came over to ask how I was doing. She mentioned they had been there 4 years and was very happy with the business. I was happy the food was so good! I’m a little biased towards this place because I haven’t tried any other local favorites for breakfast, but as an out-of-town-err, I was very pleased with the service, cleanliness of the restaurant, and food that was served. My server, Heather, even offered some iced water to-go, to which I said, YES! I was also quite surprised when at the end of my visit they left me a card that asked me to share my opinion on Unilocal.I liked them so much more now! These folks really care about service, and that was evident. Of course, the least I could do was to share my opinion with the rest of the world!

I don’t normally eat breakfast and I have never been to any other broken egg cafes, but this one was a very pleasant experience. We stopped to eat here on the way out and didn’t have to wait long. They seated 5 of us at a 4 top, and it was a bit cramped, which is why the 4 stars instead of 5. But otherwise, it wasn’t too bad. I’d have preferred a 6 top table since there weren’t too many people there yet. The waitress was real nice and attentive and made sure every single need was met quickly. Like I said, I don’t eat breakfast very often, and when I do, I’m a bacon, sausage and eggs(maybe) kind of guy, and maybe every now and then pancakes or waffles, so I don’t care about fancy breakfast dishes, which is what they serve lots of. I got the Hawaiian french toast with eggs and ham. The french toast was VERY good, and my eggs and ham were too. Over all a very pleasant and tasty experience and I would go there again and recommend it over any houses or barrels other people might want to. There was a manager serving muffins or some sort by the time we left, apologizing to all the people waiting outside, even though it wasn’t that long of a wait or any different from any other restaurant, and making them nice and comfy and assuring them they would be seated soon. I’ve never seen that before. A very nice gesture from the business.

Huge Fan of this place, but first time trying it in Pensacola. So there are small, but huge differences from one location to the other. So on this particular visit, we ordered the Lafitte’s Tortilla, Crab cakes Cavallo Benedicts, Shrimp ‘n Grits, and a order of Biscuit Beignets for starters! I also ordered a coffee with Kahlua. The Lafitte’s Tortilla was ok, but it wasn’t nothing fancy, I was expecting so much more! The Crab cake Cavallo benedicts was great, but a tad on the salty side, but a nice portion. Then you have the Shrimp ‘n Grits, what can I say then just simply amazing! It wasn’t my order, but when I saw it, I wished I had order that instead of the Lafitte’s tortilla. And as for the biscuit beignets, they are a die for. They come with a marmalade that you can dip in which goes well with the small warm beignets. Our server was very polite and helpful. When we found out that the Pensacola store didn’t have the Lobster & Gouda Grits(A MUST!!!), she worked with the kitchen to see if they could replicate the dish. This place is reasonably price for what you get. Nothing outrageous and the portions is pretty decent size. I’m a huge advocate of getting the best bang for my buck and this place falls right in line that philosophy. Its a pretty clean place, and they do a good job of clearing tables as well as making sure the place as a hold is clean. This place is easy to find and the parking lot is huge! I image on the weekends they need it because this place will have huge waiting lines from time to time. Overall, this place is on my top 10 list for breakfast, they have many locations, so please check out one if you get the chance, you will not be disappointed.

This was by far the best customer service I’ve ever had. There was a 30 min. wait for two when we arrived; during the wait complimentary mini muffins were served to everyone waiting to be seated they also had complimentary coffee. When we were walking to our table all the staff greeted us, the waitress was so hospitable. She told us about our selections, offered sauces on the side or even more if we desired more decadance. She told us about specials in detail. We never had to ask for refills nor condiments. I had the carrot cake pancakes and OMG!!! they were amazing; toasted coconut, candied pecans, just enough cream cheese. I also had grits w/cheese I LOVE that they didn’t put some kraft single crap in my grits. Turkey sausage can be tricky but not here it was flavorful and wasn’t the least bit dry and as we were leaving everyone thanked us for dinning. GREATFOOD W/GREAT SERVICE!!!

Great place for breakfast before hitting the beach. The waffles are good. The pancakes are very filling. Omelettes are okay and a bit pricey at $ 11 – 13. The Hey Lucy omelette was delish! One day I’m taking one of these coffee cups :)
