It was pretty busy when we went so we waited about 20 minutes for a table for our party of 9. After we sat down it took about another 7 – 10 minutes for our waitress to show up. We ordered a couple pizzas. The pizzas were a weird flavor. They tasted like an American pizza would taste if it was invented in this country. Crust was fluid and I think they use fake cheese.

I give one star for poor customer service. I called an order in. Upon arrival to pick up the order there were two young men behind the counter cutting up and a young blonde girl at the register. I’m fine with the guys cutting up as long as they are on their game. The girl starred at me with a blank face so I made the first communication and said I was there to pick up my order. She asked me for my name and then I paid and received my order. I drove home, opened the boxes and my spaghetti had no meat balls. I called back and told them I was on my way back to get my meat balls. The girl on the phone said they would get another order ready for me to pick up. When I arrived there were about ten people in the lobby area standing around waiting on orders. I walked up to the same blonde girl and told her I was there to get my meatballs. The same two young guys were still cutting up and having a great time behind the counter at my expense. The girl said I think someone is working on my meatballs and looked away to a noted pad she was writing on. I stood their or a few more minutes and asked her if she could check on my meatballs. She said sure and walked away. She came right back to the counter and started scribbling on her pad again. I was in disbelief by her actions as she was trying so hard to avoid me. I asked her about my meat balls again and she said someone was on their way. I young guy shortly appeared from the back, walked over to a crock pot and spooned out 4 meatballs into a container. He handed them to the girl and she handed them to me, she said here you go and went right back to her scribble pad. No one ever said sorry, acted like they cared or showed any empathy for me and my meatballs. What a shame no one knows how to manage these kids and teach them respect and basic customer service. So many food establishments seem to get complacent. I’ve been other places in Pensacola and seen some great customer service by the younger generation but on this night it was the worst I’ve seen yet. Sorry but I won’t be giving Georgios another chance to win me over but they probably don’t care anyway.

I used to go to Georgio’s all the time in high school with my friends. It been 3 years since I have been there. I went there this time with my old high school gang and treated them to pizza. We ate a meat lovers pizza, and one of us had a salad. I feel like the food quality has worsened a bit, but the ambiance is still there(maybe it’s because my old friends were there). anyways if you want to descent pizza in Pensacola, Georgio’s Pizza is the place to go

This is a quality pizza restaurant. They are honest in that the ingredients are fresh and gourmet. I have only had delivery, so I will vouch that it was great for delivery and the owner is super nice.

Awesome pizza, awesome burgers! So much fun for the family. Gyros are absolutely the best in town. Greek salad is crispy and delicious!

Excellent pizza. Poor service. The pizza is so good but the service is so bad that I wonder if it’s worth coming back? Maybe take out is the answer?

Good pizza but pricey! Their large was not as large as others but paid the same amount if not a bit more. I found the crust had more flavor the actual pizza part. Tasty but be prepared to pay up.

I don’t know how some of these other people can give Georgios 1 – 3 star ratings. We LOVE this place and frequent it often! Amazing pizza! We gather round with friends and family over pizza and breadsticks and love the family atmosphere. The staff and management is super polite and always helpful. Our fave Pensacola pizza joint!

Have eaten here several times now. The«white pizza» was really delicious! Very generous with the cheese! And we also enjoyed the chicken Alfredo pizza with artichoke hearts & white sauce. The spin dip was hit or miss, good one visit and not so great the next. Service was good. And even got a dog treat to take home to our four legged family member awaiting our return. Apparently they keep those(milk bone treats) on hand for the K-9 unit officers.

I haven’t had anything here but the gyro’s and they are fabulous! I moved to Pensacola from a northern state and area that had many places that served gyro’s and these are so, so good! I missed the Greek places up north after we moved but not anymore. I love this place. I heard the other menu items are great too… I will try them eventually.

Clearly the BEST in Pensacola! We moved from San Francisco and were spoiled by our choices in the Bay Area. After living here 2 YRs we finally tried Georgios. WOW… why did we waste our time and calories going to other places in town. Ya gotta go if you have not been. In fact the wifey and I are heading there tonight. Check out there«tower of beer» pitchers for the table and they even have Pensacola Bay Brewery beer too! My Pizza tonight(or my half) will have Mushrooms, Ground Beef, Onions and lots of cheese on a crispy thin crust! Yum!

Georgios pizza is delicious. Had the Garden Street pizza with Gyro meat added on thick crust. Good combination feta cheese, spinach, tomato slices, mozzarella cheese, and gyro meat. With this combination I left not feeling like I had a cheese gut bomb in my stomach. Service was fair and timely.

If you want mediocre pizza come to Georgio’s. I’ve been here twice in the last week, and I went inside to ask him if we could use the parking lot to eat at the New York deli across the street which has 4.5 star reviews on Unilocal.I now know why this place has only 3 ½ stars. So much for Southern hospitality because it’s nonexistent at Georgio’s pizzeria…

Great food good service and friendly employees. Had the house pizza with no feta or gyro meat. Was delicious. Fed 4 adults easily. Bacon cheddar fries were also great

Horrible and dirty place. That is all I can say. If you walk in you can see old chicken sitting out under the grill, all day.

First review on Unilocal… here goes. I called Georgio’s because they deliver to my hotel on Chase Street(Residence Inn), and after a week of nothing but scrumptious gulf seafood, I was ready for a change of pace. They have an advertisement right in the room, hence I figured the hotel had vetted this place for their guests. I was wrong. The employee on the phone was very nice taking my order; but couldn’t tell me how long the delivery would be to my room at the RI. She said it would be «just a little bit». I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Greek Salad. One hour and thirty five minutes later, the luke-warm pizza and salad showed up at my door. No kidding, they were the same temperature. I ate the salad as the pizza went in the microwave for two minutes. The salad was decent(solid B), but the pizza was something else. The menu said it would have red onions, instead there were overcooked yellow onions. The pie was extremely greasy; only after four or five paper towels-worth of mopping was it even edible. The crust… honestly I couldn’t tell the difference between it and the bottom of the box. Chewy and saturated with grease, a D minus at best. It was also on the pricey side, $ 14 for a 10 inch pizza. The product was akin to a gas-station strip mall startup pizza delivery joint, with the price of a gourmet pizza establishment. Overall, disappointed in the long delivery time(especially for a Sunday night) the pizza and the price, but the employees were pleasant. The delivery guy even wished me a happy stay in Pensacola, an ambassador to the city I guess. If you’re staying in downtown Pensacola, there are plenty of restaurant choices available. Recommend you pass on Georgio’s; treat yourself to something better.

Seemed like a good place when we walked in. Order breadsticks and a pizza. First came the breadsticks, they seemed kind of dry/stale. My boyfriend then pulled a piece of hair out of one breadstick that was baked into it, then there was a second piece of hair baked into it. They tried to correct it by giving us a new order, that order came our hot and fresh and a lot more fluffy than the first, however I examined my breadsticks before I ate it and again there was another hair baked into the bottom of the breadstick, requested the owner to come to our table and show him and he said«he was too blind to see it» pointed it out and he offered to not charge us for them. We told them we didn’t want our pizza anymore and had to walk out, we were afraid of what would be baked into our pizza crust. Absolutely disgusted… will never go back!

Georgio’s is a great place to mix it up in a town where diverse food is hard to come by. This place is def«American Greek», but that’s about as ethnic as it gets in Pensacola. While the Pizza is awesome, Georgia’s serves up a pretty legit Gyro too. That’s what I usually go for and at @ $ 7.50 with a delish side of fries — it’s a great to-go order. If I’m in the East Hill area, I way rather do that then subway or wendy’s… If the original owner, Mr. Maletsidis, still ran this place I’d give it 5 stars but the food isn’t as consistent as it was under his watch.
