This restaurant is great! The avocado toast is great! The frittata I think is what they are called are wonderful I had the garden one. They don’t have alcohol, but it’s a great breakfast place. Just about anything you order comes with two eggs on the side, and maybe an English muffin, but you can have a French toast on the side and its just delicious. Very friendly staff. My friend left her keys on the outside table where we waited to be seated, and they had them when we asked for missing keys. Wonderful place to go eat. You must try it.

Looked good until they wanted us to wait a half hour for a table. I don’t wait to give someone my business, so we went right down the road to Denny’s which was delicious as always. And cheaper I’m sure.

Great service, everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. My wife got the blueberry pancake, cheese eggs and bacon and loved it. I got the corned beef hash and eggs, and it was just meh. It looked and tasted like it was dumped out of a can and microwaved. I’ll go back and try something else simply because everything but the hash was good.

This is a better than average modern bistro-type café with bright furnishings, immaculately clean environs, and the food my friend and I had was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. She had California Scramble for 10 bucks, I had the Crabcakes Benedict for 11, with grits, and I put it ten notches above any of the greasy spoon places. Dining date was 03/12/2016, server was Jami, and she was excellent.

Good breakfast with a variety of foods. Love the chicken sausage, my wife loves their huge pancakes. Waits on the weekend. Fast service, carafes of your drink order. They should expand to another location or 2. We’ll be back.

I’m not sure what everyone is excited about with this place. I ordered some granola/fruit/yogurt dish. They poured yogurt over the fruit and the yogurt got runny because the fruit must sit in water. There was hardly any granola, less than what I get at Chick-fil-A. My server kept forgetting things, the Diet Coke was flat… what a mess. People in this city don’t have many options so I guess they think this is good.

Reasonably enjoyable breakfast/brunch joint. I’m a little surprised they’re so popular… because I think they’re somewhat average. The ranch potatoes were not exciting in terms of if you’ve had great home fries etc. The eggs benny was pretty good — I wanted the hikers, but ended up getting the veggie with bacon on the side. It was good, but… not amazing. Really like their coffee selection. There were three different ones to choose from when I was there — and they brought us two when we couldn’t decide. Also really like that they leave a pot on your table. And you get a carafe of water.(It’s a struggle for me to stay hydrated so I really appreciate when restaurants do this so I don’t have to annoy the waiter constantly). Also a good location if you’re shopping before or after.

Absolutely one of my favorite upscale breakfast places in Pensacola. It is extremely similar to Another Broken Egg Café, and I have often wondered if they are somehow connected. Anyway, the service is always friendly, food top notch, and location appreciated as it sits right outside of the city center. I recommend just about any omelette because the size is nice and the flavor is explosive. If you are feeling sweet, they have a wide variety of pancake and French toast options, which always pack a flavor punch to the stomach so good you will want another. The coffee has always been a nice compliment to the meal. They keep the cups flowing, but be aware that it is not a highly fancy blend. If I had to guess it is probably of the Maxwell House variety. What is neat is the selection of hot tea bags they parade out in a little wooden box. Just another example of how this breakfast joint continues to offer a higher quality experience in flavor and ambiance.

The best tasting breakfast ive had in a long time. My entire family enjoyed it. Pick one of their eggs benedict and you will NOT be disappointed. Seated promptly, clean facilities in a safe neighborhood. Two let downs were not so personable staff and watered down grits. I will definitely go back for the other food though.

Awesome breakfast. Had the corned beef hash with sunny side up eggs. It was one of the best hashes I’ve ever had. If you like spicy then a little of the house hot sauce makes it even better. Would highly recommend for breakfast.

On Christmas Eve around 9am we had our first experience, greeted and seated promptly. Our server Keke introduced herself and took our drink order, answered our questions regarding the menu and later took our order. Breakfast selection $ 11 and under, portions were very presentable though somewhat small. We had crab cake benedict, which was rather bland and Parisian Benedict was very good, ranch potatoes were good.

Great breakfast! Everything I’ve had has been just about perfect, there’s usually a short wait for a table and I can see why! I’ll be coming back for more soon!

The food is decent and the staff pleasant, but the restaurant itself is seemingly run by people that have never done this before. The hostess station is just past the cash register, so there’s almost always a huge knot of patrons milling about either trying to be seated or pay for their meals. Everything about the experience is slow and disorganized for no discernible reason. Wait staff and bussers mill aimlessly about while drinks remain unfilled and tables remain uncleared. Even simply trying to pay for your meal is an exercise in patience and crowd control.

Egg and I is a great breakfast restaurant. I’ve been to a few in Montgomery Alabama several times. I was excited when I came to Pensacola there was one here. It is very reasonably priced.

Went this morning with my wife and met our friends there. Walked in and it smelled very good, place was very clean. Seated right away and the most cheerful waitress was soon taking our orders. Food was very fresh, flavorful, and hot. Was very happy that they offered not only tomato juice but V-8. I had the Veracruz Chicken and Avocado omelette. Very good! They offer a veterans discount on top of everything else! Will most definitely be back again.

As a girl raised on Rofl House, I’m reluctant to try new breakfast places. This is my new favorite place in Pensacola. The«veggie Benedict» was literally one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. A soft English muffin, ripe tomato slice, artichoke hearts, asparagus, spinach, and mushrooms, all brought together by the yolk of a perfectly poached egg and hollandaise sauce? Yes please! Their hollandaise sauce is perfect. The boyfriend had a spinich-mushroom-bacon omelette, which was smothered in hollandaise. Even the«ranch potatoes», which sound simple, are awesome. I’m ready to go back for breakfast next weekend! Tl;dr I’d drive past 10 waffle houses for this place. 2 thumbs way up.

Very nice vibe. When I finished my meal I finished drinking my coffee. Didn’t feel pressured to leave felt like I could sit all day. Very welcoming employees. Jami was my server, she was pleasant. Recommend her if you come in. I got the biscuits and gravy with potatoes and fried egg. I could not finish my plate, very good portions.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and were sat quickly and welcomed by a friendly waiter. Drinks were brought quickly but the food order took a while to come out(especially for breakfast food which is normally very fast but our waiter said it was because a large group had their order in right before us). I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and it was flavorful and fresh. It came with two slices of crispy bacon which was probably my favorite part. I would recommend and come back if I as in the area.

Seems to be a local favorite, decently busy. Breakfast and lunch served. GPS took us on a turnaround and business name is on sides of the building though the front is away from main road so a bit hidden. I had the waffle, eggs and bacon. Everything was good. Belgium waffle was not as brown and crisp as im use too almost more soft/soggy texture but still good taste. Eggs lightvand fluffy as i had scrambled with cheese. Bacon had really good flavor. Service was good and friendly i think our server was Ashley i think. Seems servers help each other with bringing food out. Looking for a brunch place this would be: Recommended.

This is not a place to go for a quick breakfast but if it’s a leisurely meal with a group the place is perfect. The menu is very extensive and the food very satisfying. I went with a group of 6 and each person was pleased with their food. Nothing was particularly outstanding but nothing below par. The décor of the restaurant is very basic without any particular charm. I expected more because of the clever name. I found the service exceptional which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Just finished brunch here with my mom for mother’s day. It was our first time here. We arrived around 11:10am and waited 25 – 30 minutes to be seated. They were crowded! But luckily there were indoor and outdoor waiting areas with seats. I liked how they had an intercom system to call the guests to be seated. We were seated at a booth for four, but there’s just the two of us. I felt bad for sitting at a larger table, but was definitely glad to be seated. I ordered an omelette dish for my mom and the Parisian Benedict for myself. The server was friendly and checked on us often. Our meals were great and I liked they way my Benedict was prepared. The eggs had runny yolks and it was still very hot! We ordered grits along with the meals, which were pretty good. Simple meal for mom, because she rarely goes out to. The omelette looked and tasted very nicely(I had a try). Her dish cane with English muffins and of course the grits. She didn’t finish her omelette, so we took the remaining to go. It was a nice little brunch! I have wanted to try this place out, months ago, but didn’t have any chance to. I didn’t have much to complain about. :)

The kid at the front of the house is soooo unprofessional. Running around yelling at other staff members. Acting a fool And my waitress just rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a hot cup of coffee. I was planning on coming back but will rethink.

We were in town visiting family and stopped by for breakfast on Tuesday, 4−7−15. They staff was very friendly and took great care of us even though they were initially short staffed. They were very accommodating considering that we had two large Service Dogs with us. We were welcomed just like everyone, and even offered to bring out bowls of water for the dogs since the humidity was high that morning. Please note that while federal laws allow access for Service Dogs, not all businesses are very pleasant about it. This particular Egg & I went above and beyond. We’ve been to places that have rushed us out or would just constantly glare. None of the staff here did that. The food was really good as to be expected from past experiences at various other Egg & I restaurants.

Service was prompt. Food was good. They ran out of bananas for the strawberry & banana waffle, the asked my preference on a substitute. Eggs overdone, bacon crispy. I’ll return again.
