This was a first stop at any Jimmy John’s. We weren’t sure exactly what it was and discovered it was a sandwich shop comparable to a Subway’s. However, it’s not setup like a Subway. When I walked in I walked to the cash register and discovered, yes, that’s where it starts. I mentioned to the cashier that I wasn’t sure how it worked because it was our first visit. He took our order and then ended up talking through the rest of it with another fella who just walked in while I was being waited on. I thought it was either a friend or an employee just coming to work. The conversation continued while he was counting change. I had to interrupt to find out where to go to get the food. Then, I had to come back to find out about the drinks and another trip to come back to get the cookie. It obviously was confusing. In the meantime this second person was hanging over the pick-up are and having another conversation with the worker there. I wasn’t sure but was quite annoyed. Okay, so I was asked if I wanted just a sandwich or a meal. I didn’t realize I was being up-sold for a cookie attached to a drink. Cashier made it sound like it was a package deal. I ordered the tuna sub. In the sandwich were four thickly sliced cucumbers. I love cucumbers but not so fond of thick ones in a sandwich that aren’t even peeled. The bread felt ice cold and rather hard. I’m sure the bread was fresh but since it was so cold it felt hard. Needless to say, this first visit wasn’t one that impressed either of us. I doubt that we would ever return to another Jimmy John’s. At least now our curiosity has been satisfied. We’ll stay with Subway.

I ordered a sub from them i believe a combo the bread was hard. Some of their prices are high. The men’s restroom has icons going all around the room of ways to use the restroom its disturbing

Never had a better sandwich from a fast food sandwich shop. The club and roast beef are my favorite so far.

We have eaten in the shop several times as well as ordered it delivered to the office and have never be disappointed! Love their bread. Only drawback is they have no hot sandwiches. Everyone has always been very friendly and helpful.

Was surprised and relieved Jimmy Johns was delivering on the Wednesday of this«snow/ice storm» that is a rarity here in Pensacola. Went with the #14 Bootlegger club, add hot peppers & Italian vinaigrette… it was tasty! Their fresh bread is always on point.

My husband and I came here for lunch with my daughter. I ordered the #4 turkey, a plain slim #4 for my daughter(they have no kids meals available) and my husband ordered the #14 bootlegger club. The woman taking our order was very friendly and made sure my daughters sub was cut 3 times. We all got combos. Loved the chips(but one bag is actually 2 serving), the subs were average, ingredients were fresh. I personally loved the signs, but that’s my stupid sense of humor, the music mentioned in earlier reviews seemed to be under control– we were able to carry on a conversation. If we were in a rush from shopping with a fussy kid we will come here. The sandwiches were ready before we had even filled our drinks.

This place was nothing special. My sub tasted like something I’d make at home. Not much variety as it is ONLY8 inch, French bread, cold subs. Their chips were good though. The music is loud and there are weird signs all around that were more tacky than humorous, which was obviously the intent. Not a terrible place. But I thought it was extremely mediocre and a waste of money because I could’ve made a better sandwich at my house. (I originally wrote this for the one on Navy Blvd, but it’s a chain so they’re all the same.)

Jimmy Johns is a popular sandwich chain nationwide. The first time I have been to one of these places was in Atlanta a few years ago, and now they have finally opened one in Pensacola. If only now we could get a Boston Market to come here. Although I’m not a fan of the bread(it resembles the soggy bread at Subway’s a little), the insides of the sandwiches were quite delicious. I ordered the club tuna, which was pretty delicious for a tuna sandwich, although I have never heard of putting a tuna sandwich on a baguette. The shop is pretty clean, but I have to agree with the music — too much of anything is not a good thing.

As good as any other jimmy johns, BUTTURNTHEMUSICDOWN!!! It’s so loud in there you can’t hear yourself think! I’ll probably wait awhile before going back due to that issue alone. I used to go to Publix all the time for sandwiches, but no more!
