Sbarro — Been here quite a few times for lunch. For one its on the floor above me and they have amazing salads! Once in a while I’ll grab their greasy high calorie slices but for the most part i get the custom made salads. To some, $ 7 for a bowl of salad might be a bit much but they really stack it up. I can easily split the salad into 2 meals. Of the 27 restaurants available here, this is my go to spot. I haven’t tried out their pasta yet but it does look really good. Maybe next time.

Pentagon Dining Room. Even the Pentagon got remodel the old Executives dinning room was the best. From the salat bar and bread bar, real butter and apple butter. From the third floor tenth corder where they had the picture of American president. Award ceremony to retirement. This was the place to go. When they reopen on the second floor next to the Pentagon concourse. In the beginning you have to where a jacket to come in. When I ordered I had a carry out. But I found they open to all. Me and my coworker got to eat here. Worn bread and butter. But we had to ask for it. Service is good depend how is serving. piano at the door. Food pass ok. Price a little high for what you get. I think it ok but I wood not come here again. Hope there more change soon.

Service is friendly and they obviously are trying hard. However, the food is just okay. I wish their menu had more light fare – a lot of the dishes are cream laden(who eats pasta primavera in middle of the day) or heavy in general. Their calamari is consistently quite good. Overall, it’ll do in a pinch when you’re tired of Subway and Sbarro but don’t expect an amazing dining experience.

Know full well that this is a more upscale experience, and prices reflect this. I ordered the tilapia with mango salsa with rice and sauteed spinach. The food tasted good, although the mangos in the salsa were way too unripened to the point of being crunchy. Not a good texture combination. Meal was $ 15 + 18% tip(I was in a group of 16) + tax = $ 20 for a decently filling but healthy lunch with water. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back again, but I wouldn’t cringe if someone wanted to go.

Not impressed. I had the Caesar Salad with Chicken and it had to be one of the worst that I’ve had. A colleague of mine ordered the Salmon and it was so hard, that he was able to fork it up off his plate! Service was average at best. If you’re looking for a quiet place to have lunch or have an important guest, you have no choice but to go here. I’ve been to O clubs better than this.

This place is terrible. My hamburger was half raw and our group of 8 waited 45 minutes to eat.

Room 2B121. The safest meal in the DC area. Just kidding. No, but seriously, the restaurant is inside the Pentagon. It is the formal, sit-down, waiter-service, napkins and tablecloth, open to everyone(well…everyone who is allowed in the building) dining establishment in the Pentagon. And it’s pretty darn good. The ambiance is civilized. The service is very attentive. The chicken salad sandwich I ordered was massive and tasty. The flank steak was even better — practically flawlessly grilled and seasoned, with excellent sides. Cold shrimp entrée is also a nice choice. Makes the various food court options look very uncivilized. No booze or beer or vino of any sort.
