Peoria we have found your pizza! The service was great! Jessica our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I had a dinner salad before the pizza came. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The bleu cheese dressing was thick and chunky just like I like it. We ordered a medium sausage pizza and were astounded by the size of the pie. I’ve been to many places that would call it a large or more. Even with just having sausage and cheese everything was very flavorful. The cheese was nice and thick. The thin crust although not cracker-thin was crisp with just the right chew and melted in your mouth. Hats off to this pizza chef! This is as good a thin-crust pizza as I have ever had. I highly recommend this place.

Food and service both lacked. Not the cleanest either. Loved the location for years but the food and service didn’t match up.

Drove all the way here after they said kitchen was open until 11 only to be told the cook left before 10:30 pm even though they knew we were coming. Totally uncool. Place smells gross & was filled with dirty drunks.

The pizza was good as well as the service, I know they have been around a long time but the place is dark, dingy and dirty. I felt nothing had changed in 30 years. I might have put a higher score if I had carry out

Even though most locals consider this place to be top notch, I have to respectfully disagree completely. Crust is a doughy mess and pales in comparison to most deep dish places in Chicago. Service is typically hit or miss. Depends on day of week and the server you get. Bottom line, skip this place. There are MUCH better alternatives in Peoria.

Love this place. Been around for a long time. Service and food is consistently good. Got multiple micro brews and imports on tap. Free popcorn to snack on. Very large back room area for private parties and live bands. The thin crust pizza is one of my all time favorites. It’s not a cracker thin crust, more like a hand tossed. But since they specialize in Chicago style, it’s considered a thin. Pizza has big chunks of veggies along with an awesome home made sausage that has tones of flavor. Crust is cook on cornmeal, crunchy with a good flavor. The works salad is awesome. Hugh chunks of veggies. Good variety of leaves and veggies. Beats some of the boring salads you may get at other pizza places. Staff and the owner are also great. They are very nice and personal. Only complaint is they just put in a couple gambling machines. But it’s a growing trend in this area, so I can’t blame them for wanting to stay competitive . I keep coming back for the pizza. Definitely recommend.

We were there on a busy night and service was great. Dude was running himself silly but kept tabs in us. We got a super calzone which was insane. A ton of cheese — maybe too much. Wish we had gotten something more normal. Everyone else enjoyed their pizza. Smallish but really well-selected craft beer selection. Will be back.

Best deep dish in town. Crisp and full of taste.

Well I would like to be able to comment on the food at Peoria Pizza Works, but since I sat there for almost 15 minutes without anyone saying so much as a word to me I can’t. There was only one other customer in the place at the time so they didn’t have the excuse of being too busy. I went at 11:20am on a Thursday and they supposedly open at 11. There were people in the back, yet no one came out. I walked around the place attempting to get someone’s attention. At one point a younger man who worked there walked by but still NOHELP! Seriously people WTF?

This place rocks! Nice, old style family pizza joint with great food, great salads, friendly service. Their pizza is way better than the chains, fresh and tasty with a nice crust. Love this place.

Some of the best pan pizza around. Definitely the best outside of Chicago and the only place in town that’s worth a damn. I haven’t had much else off their menu, but the Italian beef is also excellent.

Always a good bet. Great food and a large menu. Thin crust, deep dish and stuffed pizza. Live music weekends and some weekdays. Many locals frequent often and the owner and staff are very friendly. They also have take and bake pizzas for a great price.
